Hi such a great video. Few questions though, can you just blow normal balloons up with less air to make those small five inch balloons. Also what do you mean by shape of an eight motion? When you are done using the 260 at a connection point or to add the small five inch clusters is the last step with the 260 to tie a knot each time? Thanks 😅
Thank you very much. (1) There's a technique where you can inflate an 11-inch balloon with a small amount of air, then split it into 2 or 3 bubbles - this is an effective alternative to using 5-inch balloons. (2) Figure of 8 - this means wrap the 260 around the balloons in the balloon clusters below. (3) if you're just starting out, it's probably a good idea to finish with a knot. As you get more used to working with balloons, you'll get to know that in certain circumstances, you don't need to tie a knot. Hope this helps.
I’ve finished it! I found the hardest part tying it all together! I found the 160 / 260 ties very tight so the overall shape got more and more distorted and out of control as I progressed. And then the big 2 detached itself! I then reattached it using the little holes in the attachments for extra strength but one of them later tore through as it was all so tight. I also found that reattaching it once there’s a lot of other things attached gave it much less stability and the two flopped about pulling the whole thing over. It didn’t help that I didn’t do the water weight properly either! Eventually I twisted a big balloon or two to sit behind the two to give it the support it needed and it worked out. I’d love to show you the finished result but can’t attach a pic here. If you have any tips about attaching without distorting the overall shape that would be great! I found things really hard to attach sometimes!
Hi Rebecca. It sounds like you did a great job. You need to leave a bit of slack when tying the 160s or 260s together otherwise they can pull everything together more than you might want. The Grabo number 2 is a very pretty colour but it's really an upside-down 5 which makes it more challenging to attach to the base as you haven't got the valve/neck to use as you have with some other numbers/manufacturers. The tabs with holes are weak, which is why I don't use them. In a pinch, you can cover each side of the tab with some clear tape then punch a hole through. This makes the tabs just that little bit stronger. You've learned such a lot making this display - well done on working through the challenges and just think how much easier the next one will be. Take care and well done 👏 👏 👏
Hi Alonso. If I get an order from a client for a Frozen display, I'll try to film it. I try to film some of the displays I make for clients. Take care, Melanie
I followed this and did a simpler version. Thanks so much for the step by step...my first go!
Hi Heather. Great to hear from you. You're very welcome. So glad this worked well for you ... it's still one of my favourites. Take care, Melanie

Foil balloons are awesome you can literally sit on them and they won't pop
Hi Tom. I keep meaning to try this technique of yours 😄
What size is the number 2? 16 inch or 32? This looks awesome! I’m going to try to make it for my friend’s boys birthday!
Hi Rebecca. Not 16 inches. The Grabo numbers are 40 inches so a bit larger than some of the other brands. Hope it goes well ☺
That is beautiful well done 👏can you tell me what you use to tie balloons together x
Hi Sandra. Thank you very much. Certainly, I've used 260s.
@@BalloonArtworks thank you 😊
You're very welcome. Let me know how you get on with it. Take care 🦈 ☺
Wow

😍😍😍
Hi Isabel. Thank you 😊
Hello can you please tell me the blue ballons names . Thank you .
Hi Geivi, great to hear from you. The blue balloons are robin's egg, Caribbean blue, pearl sapphire blue.
Roughly how many of the 5 and 11 inch balloons would you need to do something like this?!
Hi Nicola. 20-25 x 11-inch balloons and around 150 x 5-inch balloons.
Thanks! I’m considering attempting this for my wee boy’s birthday in a few weeks.
Hi Nicola. How lovely! I'd love to know how you get on. Take care ☺ 🦈
