Cliff Notes: 1952 10¥ coins are rare, and because of that, COULD be worth $3M. Living on a Navy base as a pre-teen, me and my friends would spend afternoons at the teen center and play all the tabletop video games of the early 80's. We didn't have a bunch of money, but we did have a bunch of 10¥ coins that are the same value as the American nickel and about the same size as a quarter. We would 'pop' them in the coin slot and hit the slot area with a knee and the machine would take the coin and a credit would pop up on the screen. 4 plays for a dollar or 20 plays for the equivalent using the 10¥ pieces. Loved living in Japan, as a kid, and in the 80's. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Terribly redundant video.
I have that
