the songs on this album really went from 'lock up your daughters, we’re the baddest boyz' to 'just kidding, we’re actually fairies in wonderland' and i respect that a lot
Iconic levels of duality truly
Spring snow is a fan song... They all wrote the lyrics.. and sangyeon, kevin, and jacob composed the song. The boyz debuted on winter and TheB (deobi) was born on spring.

On a serious note: This album was vastly different than anything The Boyz has done before, while still maintaining a similar The Boyz energy. As a whole it was a lot darker but maintained the general high energy that they usually have, the 2nd half of it being a bit more reminiscent of their usual sound. I personally suggest checking out their Dreamlike and Giddy up mini albums! Both of them encapsulate their general sound very well.
while we’re at it, Tattoo album was also great! but honestly tho, they don’t have any bad song in their discography.
reveal was tbz' first time really doing a darker concept AND their first full album, so no; the first half of the album is pretty experimental in their sound. if you listen to their albums in order, you can start to hear the shift towards a more mature concept, but reveal is something completely different than their previous albums. i'm also still very mad that all the rtk official audios aren't released on spotify
also when i first looked up the lyrics for scar, i was so surprised to see that kevin wasn't in there, like i could've SWORN he was singing in it xD

gigicmaoj deobi tattoo is a dark concept, but I think they meant the first Korean comeback with a dark concept
scar's still my favorite song off the album, cuz i'm suchhh a sucker for the sexy bass/minimalist drop. i never thought they'd do a song like this (the closest is probably Got It) so when i heard this i was like o_o i love this so much
Bias guesses: Eric, (since I catch you smiling every time it's his part, but that could be just a coincidence) Sunwoo, (cause he's on everyone's bias list, who am i kidding) and possibly Sangyeon (he has a GREAT voice).
Personally, my bias is Q, that boy is just so incredibly talented i love him ❤

It's crazy, I *very rarely* ever find an album from any kpop group where I genuinely LOVE all the songs. Tbh, I think this is the only album from any group that I *WILL NOT* skip any of the songs at any given day or time, regardless of what genre of music I'm feeling (and I'm saying this as a very loyal EXO and NCT stan). None of these songs get old for me, and honestly? I'm so impressed by The Boyz. Wings, Goodbye, and Scar are just *chef's kiss*
omg, are you my twin, lol? coz i totally just like you. I only listen to EXO, NCT, and TBZ (+got7 for me ^^) whole album and fell in love with all of them. And REVEAL album is my favorite!

I'm pretty sure that "Goodbye" was dedicated to Hwall because it was their first comeback after he left the group from his injury... don't take my word for it, but I think that's correct?

This is exactly me. I was new to The Boyz and listened to the album. As I continued to listen to the songs, I kept wondering which song I might not like.. but in the end it was perhaps the only album that I truly loved all of its songs. Enjoyed your reaction and I guess your bias might be Sunwoo or Eric
so sunwoo is my ultimate bias and i can’t help but think he’ll be at least in your bias line too haha my favorite mini album by them is the 3rd one called The Only, from what i’ve seen i really think you’re gonna enjoy it a lot so i’d really recommend that one

Thank you for loving The Boyz and reacting to their first full album. Their songs are always great and fun in my opinion, but this album was really something incredible. Spring Snow is a song dedicated to Deobi, by the way. That's why the lyrics hit so hard. ^^ Will you be doing any of their other album reactions? You don't have to, of course, but I was curious since you seem to like them a lot. I also highly suggest their "Walking in Time" and "Butterfly" MVs because those are slower songs that I think you will enjoy a lot. I'd love to see you dive into their MVs more if possible when you get time. Thanks as always!

First of all i love your journey in knowing The Boyz. Second, I highly recommend you to check their whole discography, bcs they are all amazing!! and you should listen to their Dreamlike album, it is my second favs! :)
I remember playing this album on my way to work and having my jaw slacked by the end of my ride there cause there were no skips? It was such a smooth musical ride? The BOYZ definitely have demonstrated instances where they were capable of a darker sound but they definitely pushed for it. Even Reveal and Scar which was more mature and sexy concept for them. Their pop songs have always been good but songs like Salty and Break the Rules?! One after the other? Then the ballads. I’m not a ballad fucker at all but they did such a good job with Goodbye. It’s their most challenging ballad thus far. Like RTK, I’ve always had faith in TBZ but they still surprise with what they’re capable of!
i feel that this album represents a lot the concept of the werewolf, the first tracks are more like the wolf side and the last tracks the human side. idk, i just thought about it when i was first listening to it.
I really like Reveal Album because it is interesting album. I like album that serves wide genre of song. From The First - The Start - The Sphere - The Only - Bloom Bloom - Dreamlike - Tattoo - Reveal. I don't know if it just me but they are giving different vibe or sense of maturing in their discography it seems their sound growing same like the members. Instead of changing their sound completely, it seems their just adding new their old sound/color. First part of Reveal Album is something new to them while the second part is like mix of their old sound. Reveal album is like their transition from teen age. It sounds different and more mature compare to other album. (Note: I stan other group aside from The Boyz, not being biased but Reveal is really a well produced album, the songs sound good, the choice of songs is good and the arrangement of tracklist is also good.)

Im guessing Sangyeon is your bias 😉 Also this album is quite different from their other albums because they usually went with a more bright concept but with this one they went hard really showing their duality but one thing that is pretty consistent in their songs are beautiful ballads like 4ever, butterfly, walkin in time plz do check them out 😊

I’m pretty sure they kind of went from heavy tracks to softer. That’s exactly what I thought when I first listened to the album. Also Shake you down is probably the most intense bside they have... most of them are not intense at all.
