You ever feel like just making your own style of suit a variation something that actually might be able to be sold in a way that protects the human.
Those stretchable wires would be a game changer for my Mirage cosplay!
That’s honestly very cool, I’m actually getting started on 3D printing very soon and am going to make a stat boost suit so I will do a lot of homework and your videos are going to be my studies and you’re my teacher. I wouldn’t have been so invested to where I want to do it myself if it wasn’t for you so thank you for everything!!!🔥
Best thing I can think of for the jet packs is a combo of fans and those smoke pen tools they use to test airflow. I think there's a variety they make that operates with a liquid, that way you don't have to deal with air compressors.
Though no matter how I see it, there's a danger. With those, it's a chemical danger. With compressors, it's a mechanical danger (explosion).
Absolutely awesome video!! I really appreciate the intensity you have when you make these, they are very educational!!
I made my first 3d print LAST WEEK! hyped to start incorporating into cosplay. Thanks for putting these out. I'm so inspired and it helps a TON!
Another great video. I really like how that Starboost suit is turning out. Super clean and looks fantastic! I just bought a whole bunch of PLA to start experimenting with larger multi-piece projects (mostly helmets for now) on my Ender 3 V2 and eventually work my way up to a full suit. Love the energy and inspiration you bring to the craft. Keep it up!
Amazing work always sir. Great electronic ideas for my current build. Thank you
The aluminum foil trick is actualy GENIOUS continue the good work Frank!!!
So excited!
That chinswitch is pure genius!
Love your videos! I got an ender 3 6 months ago and really want to make starboost, but as a kid I would grow out of the suit. Love your videos!
Amazing work as always! I would love to see how to wire up a whole suit on one board like the Arduino Nano. You've shown how to add the helmet electronics but it would be amazing to see how all the suit lights could be added. Your videos are such a great help and I'm following all the LED ones as I'm just starting to add programable LED's to my suits. Thank you so much
Motorization is easier!??! OMG... I can't wait for that video.
I could not figure out why your Arc Reactors fits better than mine.... then it dawned on me... I had to resize upper body wider... the simple things
God this looks so fun! I'm going to get one one day. Great videos. You definitely have me interested in this. My kids would probably go nuts! Lol
Love to watch your work ❤ lots of love from India🇮🇳 you are an inspiration to me❣️
Awesome. Gives me ideas for my OC space armour I have been dreaming of since the 1980's.
Great video!
NICE!!😊
I’m ready let’s goo
Awesome
hell yeah brother
Hey frank! for the battery pack, i got a way with using a 4x AAA battery holder with a built in switch and hid it behind the servos. It’s wired directly to the Vin ports on the board the the +s of the servos. (They’re all in parallel) Maybe that can work in terms of getting the helmet to be all self-contained.
Keep up the good work👍❤
Hi frankly i just wanted to say thank you for all the helpful tips on the iron man mask i made it with your videos
your the best man!
Dude, i just love your channel. Keep it up, man, and I'll print it for free, lol, and can't wait for the backpack video
I NEED that new helmet tutorial. I'm working on my helmet currently and that would come in so clutch.
hahaha bro you call 2 years of work a rish job? im half way threw my mk85 and its been 4 days lol , i love you channel its helping me so much!! im building it to raise money for a charity i started
Try making a fully opening iron man suit, that you can walk into and parts will close up around you when you are inside it.
We’re decades away from that being possible lol
Next you should make the infinity gauntlet
i love these videos so much! they are a goldmine of information. do you think you're ever going to try printing with nylon?
Frank you should do a Starr lord helmet
Would really love a video about how you edited the crashwork code to change the color of ada fruit neopixel
Man not going to lie but I'm jealous of that armor 🤣. This is just a suggestion, but you should try doing a full star wars suit. Maybe like the Death trooper, original trilogy trooper, or a scout trooper suit. I'm currently building a suit and I'm happy how the helmet turned out and I thank you for the advice that you share. Keep it up!
Lol saw one of your shorts, went to sub and realized I was already subbed, but just wasn’t seeing notifications / recommendations. HIT THAT BELL PEOPLE.
Thank you!!
you never fail to deliver man. it looks so good man keep it up. i hope to one day get my iron man suits to be as good as yours. i made my first one for the Halloween and i spent 2 months on it so im hoping my next one is better.
🖤🖤🖤
Uh oh I see Ace's hat. Maybe future video on Ace?
YES 700K SUBS
I think it would be sick if you made the iron spider man mask
Please install Lights on it will be more 😍❤️ love from India ❤️
I know this is an old video but im just now learning 3d printing so 1st thank you for making all these videos.
And #2 have you thought about some kind of fans in the suits to help keep you cool while wearing it
I was wondering when you might make the video for the new mk39 helmet files? I took a look at them but it's all a little overwhelming to me since I'm slightly new to the hobby so having a small guide would be instrumental. Thank you!
Absolutely love it, my 6 year old just picked this video saying that's frankly built daddy he can teach you how to do the iron man suit for my brother easier, then while watching it he said daddy he copied you by using those lights you did that first! 🤣🤣🤣 I'm sure I wasn't first but I'm taking the compliment that he thinks frankly built copied me!
That’s awesome! Haha
Very cool and informative video. What about another suit build that’s not been done as much but would be very. cool? Robocop! (Peter Weller 80’s version)
Make a comically large spoon
i have some questions about the motorization because although i made a motorized iron man helmet it is finicky and was wondering about the updated file for the mk 85 helmet on cgtrader which you use and hav talked about. by walsh3d. since it has built in motorization. can i adjust the size of the helmet and still have the built in motorization work?
use color e-ink displays
for camouflage
I know you seem like more of a Marvel guy but it would be really cool to see your own version and paint job of a full clone trooper armour from Starwars. I seen Galactic Armory's 3D printed suit and it looks great!
Premiere is great Frank but i think should come live also btw thank you love from India ❤️❤️
Thank you
You should make the mark 3 next…..p-please
On the lights system. Did you ever look into the Jeep rock lights style system? It's the multi color lights yes it's a 12v system but I think the lights run a lower voltage setup. The controls would be cool because you can make them flash and flicker through music and change colors or just keep them on solid. Just curious if you ever thought about that direction. Again thank you for the great content.
That would be massive overkill. If it’s a 12v system you need to run 12vs. You can accomplish the same with neopixels
@@FranklyBuilt I believe the lights are reduced down to 5v or something similar but I am curious about the reduction to operate the board. I have a cheap set I'll run some tests on them and report back to you as soon as I can
very good work i love it, but quick question what hinge system did you use for the helmet because i see there are different kinds for different helmets
I can’t believe it takes this long to make a suit. It takes so long with the 3D printer, and Tony Stark built one in cave with box a scraps.
In the Starboost helmet video will you also talk about the complete faceplate ?
have you think about making flexible rubber parts to close the gaps ? I saw some piece made with this and work great
I'm looking for some clear coats to put over the suit, and I saw both your Duplicolor 1k and the Duplicolor effex. I am not looking for the special rainbow effects so I'm wondering which is the necessary coat if I just want the base along with how many you used and where you got it. Thank you so much for all this information you have truly allowed my dreams to come true!!
The 1k clesr
Hey, I love the videos and watch the repeatedly being that I'm trying to build my own suit. But I was looking at your build list for starboost in Amazon and you don't have the bar magnets you used in a previous video. I'm curious what size they were for strength.
I’ll add them in a few!
Grate job frank . Is that just normal tin foil on the helmet or a tape kind? Really cool ideas there 👍👍🇨🇦
Hey man, i recently came across your videos, and i am currently working on the helmet, i would appreciate if you could specifically make a video on how to motorize the walsh3d mk39 helmet, as i am a little confused, i have seen your 3 part tutorial but i would enjoy an updated tutorial if possible, thanks.
Could you make a video just on how you motorized the helmet
I have a 3 part video series on it actually
Heya bud, I know I’m a little late to the party because I’ve also just started building a starboost of my own (it’s so cool and unique but still quintessential iron man at the same time) I was wondering if cannibalizing a MagSafe-like plug and socket could work for quick and secure connect / disconnects for the helmet battery inside the jet pack, and if you’ve attempted exploiting it yet?
Big fan of the channel, thanks for your time! 😄
hi can u please do a view about 3d gloop its like a glue for pla I think melt the pla together
SRB
yeah / right / right / I'll try to keep talking with you
I’m planing on buying my son a red hood mask for Christmas, he loves the comics and watches a lot of your shorts. When i checked it said “kit” and I’m unable to print anything because 3D printers are pretty expensive and so is the filament. If I was to buy it does it come printed and painted?
Would you ever make a R2-D2 astro droid fully functional?
You should make destiny stuff like saint 14, lord shaxx, lord Saladin etc.
You should make kirito’s sword from sword art online
How did you decide what to size the arc reactor to so that I works well with the hole in the chest?
I printed it at 100% scale and checked if I wanted it bigger or smaller. Then printed another
where do you buy the crash works?
What is the website you use for the 3d print
What filament did you use to print the suit?
13:44 to 13:46, bro your eyes! lol
What about them? Lol
Frankly can you give me some direction for my battery and hot end fan because they aren’t working and I just replaced the thermistor so I think it has something to do with the mother board
Don’t know if you’ll see this or not but for the arc reactor lights did you put them behind like transparent pla or something else?
Yep
@@FranklyBuilt thank you
I’m making an iron man mk85 helmet and I’m going to be scaling it down to 94% but the magnet holes are going to be to small for the magnets for the jaw. What should I do?
You can use heat to make the holes wider
Alright. Thanks!
How do you scale helmets to fit with motors in them? I want to print an iron man helmet
I just got a printer and need some help could you do a review on the xyz davinci mini😅
Is there a better material than pla+? I’m afraid if I ever make one it will be loud and crack.
Not sure. PLA+ works fine for me lol
How long do you think it will take if I 3d print my own iron man suit with one printer p.s. I’m getting my printer on Christmas and the printer is a Creality ender 3 max Neo
A few months maybe more
Is there any more suits that your going to build?
Yep!
Hi Frank.... on the cables to the switch in the chin is it actually positive negative? With a switch isnt it either positive and switch wire or negative and switch wire?
It doesn’t matter which is which
@@FranklyBuilt but you said positive and negative, not a switch
@@FranklyBuilt you can’t put negative and positive through a switch…. It will short out
@@MarkCrockett-mp9po what? You put one side on positive and the other side on negative. It’s a limit trigger switch for the input on the Alisha board. It doesn’t matter which side you hook the wires up to in the trigger.
@@FranklyBuilt can u check 14min 15 seconds on your video. You definitely said the two connections to the foil connections are positive and negative. Not a switch through
Hi if I am not bordering. Pls make the iron man amoured adventures suit from the animated series
What website did you get this suit from?
Anybody know where I can get the files for a mk42/43 iron man suit? I pretty much just need the shoulders and Abs, I’ve managed to get the rest of the files.
What cheap 3D printer is best for making iron Man suit
Have you got a full face plate lift on your mk 39.
Nah haha
I have one in working progress. There is a clip on my Instagram
What is a cheaper option for the creality cr 10 pro v2
Ender 3 max
@@FranklyBuilt Thank you
Please tell me how to get rid of stringing? I'm new to 3d printing. I have CR10 S Pro V2
You need to adjust temperature and retraction
@@FranklyBuilt Can you be more specific?
These are really my first days in 3D printing
Stringing is from improper temperature settings in the nozzle. Or your retraction settings in your 3D printing program aren’t right. It takes some fine tuning
@@FranklyBuilt Thank you very much
Last question if I may
What print bed do you use with Cr10
After printing the model can't be removed easily
How did did you mount thise inner rings? The files just prints 5 rings, with no way to mount them
What inner rings?
There’s a file for 5 rings that are inside of the reactor. The file is called “main inner 5 rings”
Do you ever sell your stuff or make custom stuff for people
How do you download the helmet files
Hey can you pls build namors headpiece from wakanda forever
How many hours did the suit take to print ?
About 1400
Soooooo sooooo cool. Thanks to you I'm starting an iron man helmet now. So you know any good fillers for the UK? What primer did you use?
Spray putty on Amazon
@@FranklyBuilt thank you so much. 🙏. Your chin wiring is just genius
You close to McGuire afb?
Nah
will you share you arc reactor code please
Stretchable wires!!!! WTF gamechanger
