Would hv been interesting to know the full story, as some of these forts started as trading ports but had dual purposes - shipping enslaved ppl. If able, check out Fort Amsterdam in Abandze near Saltpond another time. NB: Obonoma TV might be able to help link you up with a tour guide. Also, the Fort of Good Hope, in Senya Breku too. Thanks for highlighting such forgotten edifices
