Update: I finally got Aventurine *fully* build and...yeah, I don’t think I'll ever use Fu Xuan for harder content. I'm really sorry Fu, you were *really* useful and carried me *alot* until now. But now...you can finally rest.

If you're bringing a Shielder in GnG, its almost always much better to just go Preservation path. You severely underestimate the damage output of Preservation path, being able to go up to the millions in GoG. Plus your def/shield will also translate into more damage for your Acheron.
i've literally never had an easier time in GoG than with preservation path in my life. Like you can literally blindfold yourself, put on the cosmic fragment die, and somehow end up at the end clearing Conundrum level 12 just because you have like 20k in shields

aventurine with preservation path is godhood, the shield will barely even get destroy, even tho there is a small chances due to single burst atk. archeron can get her burst faster too with the quake chance of bleeding enenmy. i used aventurine with perservation path and elation path, and some other nessecary buff for def increase.

true i just tested my aventurine in gold & gears conundrum 4 with preservation path i had a 20k+ shield for all my teammates and everyone was still on full life at the end this character is a beast
I got 50k shield on one run and was hitting 500k per Dr,ratio follow up
All aventurine needs is the 3 star preservation one that gives shield and some dmg reduction blessing & you're good to go even on other paths. This Moga dude is simply a complete noob in this mode and does not know how to play G&G properly.

I played aventurine conundrum 12 and got 100k shields one everyone but aventurine, he had a 200k shield, it was so broken

im sorry moga but this one's on u, preservation is basically the most broken path if you actually have a good shielder (gepard or even better aventurine)
you can not expect a solo sustain, no defensive path run to be successful in G&G conundrum, i did manage to complete even conundrum 12 with gepard as solo sustain using preservation path but i wouldnt have been able to do it in any other path without a second sustain.

yeah sorry moga, this is fully on you since aventurine can almost effectively solo GG on Preservation path, especially if you get a few Elation blessings 💀 try him on a high conundrum on Preservation and you’re going to see a world of difference, even with Acheron as a main DPS

4:10 You have to understand, Preservation Aventurine is the strongest SU build I've ever played. You literally never die, your shields don't even crack at all and if ever they do you replenish them immediately after for like 5k shield per follow up (not even joking)
with Preservation Aventurine you literally cannot die AND the Three star blessings give you damage depending on the current shield value you have on you and your team.
Not going Preservation with a shielder when you're struggling to survive on other paths is just trolling

What characters do you have?
Aventurine is played like a normal sustain: Use skill when needed (sometimes to stack your shield more) and ult to debuff the target with highest hp. That's about it for him, build him full def and it's enough
i've watched moga for years, thats just how he is so either dont watch him or get used too it
@dianaahakim2001 if you have e0so, just build him with lots of def, 2pdef with def orb... you will want spd in low investments
If you have e0s1, it be nice to build him with some cr and cd with 2p follow up and salsotto orb/rope. He is a sustain that can do better dmg than Loucha, but his crowd control is rng, but nontheless, he can carry your team in any content. Preservation path in SU, swarm and gold and gears makes him shine... the path literally do 3 million dmg from quake
Moga I love your content but you gotta try out other options and reconsider your gameplan before releasing the video outright; Using a shielder and not using Preservation SPECIALLY in a game mode like Gold & Gears where survivability is key is incredibly odd.
It would be like trying to showcase a healer's healing capabilities in SU specifically and then not picking Abundance.
Secondly, I think Gold & Gears is not a good place to showcase characters to begin with since a lot of the stats are inflated and so is the damage; while MoC has it's own temporary buffs, it still is a more realistic method of showcasing what a character provides with their kit !
Not using Aventurine in his main Follow up attack team with Ratio Topaz and ruan mei is a huge miss, this felt more like a gold and gears review than an aventurine showcase lol
The team composition is okay, the problem was him focusing on getting Erudition path/blessings.
People aren't taking advantage of Aventurine's shield which will always stay on full bar unless you don't have enough preservation blessings. These blessings can do everything, healing, reducing damage, cleansing debuffs, and even reflect damage based on the amount of shield the character has
I like using silver wolf a lot myself in place of Ruan Mei despite knowing both can be overall good. Ratio is just easier to get follow ups with a debuffer

im not sure why you released this 😭this vid is like 2% aventurine. and if youre going to do a showcase, dont use gold and gears? it's only meant to be cleared with cheese strats which massively inflate numbers. you also kept picking the worst bosses. argenti and deer can be quite literally impossible

Using G&G as a point to value Avneturine in this way is extremely unfair. Your Neural Network isn't maxed out, and the dice faces aren't all unlocked yet, based on your 'Unlock Progress'. You like the Erudition path, that's fine, but it's unfair to yourself and the viewer when you actively avoid the path the showcased character benefits from the most. If you want to use Erudition, then unlock it for the regular Simulated Universe.
Doing the same thing over and over again expecting the same result? Pretty sure the meme calls that insanity.

Aventurine is incredible, but his biggest weakness is that if an enemy focuses too much on a single ally you are screwed since his shield is more effective against AOE.
Luckily even mobs have AOE and all the bosses in the game are AOE focused so this is rarely a problem.

Having shields allow you to deal insane damage while still being safe from enemies' attacks which can one shot your precious "damage" glass cannon paper characters. You aint gonna deal damage when everyone is dead lmao

It literally exist the Preservation blessings that increasing WHOLE teams crit rate and crit dmg as long as you have a shield and that one that increased your team's ATK% based on how strong your team's shield currently at. Preservation's Path Resonance also dealing damage based on WHOLE team's shields strength
As a lot of people have pointed out, not using PRESERVATION with Aventurine is insane imo
Also, you are not utilizing his damage potential (which stands him apart from other sustains) If you are going to showcase Aventurine, use his optimal team with Ratio and Topaz at least (You have them anyways)
Remind him either Ruan Mei or silver wolf are also smart to bring with
Most people are recommending perservation, but I’d also add since the follow up attack also applies shield, elation isn’t a bad secondary choice, especially if you the get the 3 star blessing that turns all ultimates into follow up attacks. Really helps with how fragile shields can feel at higher levels

the problem is you're still using the same beacon dice 😂 you need to use Company time dice for the conundrum levels. Those are the easiest way to get more blessings. No sustain can endure the harder levels without a ton of help from the blessings. My aventurine didn't have troubles with higher conundrum levels and he has a rainbow set with the gepard LC
I personally say the Path matters a lot more for certain characters like Aventurine, rather than the dice. I've done V12 with every single dice cause I have too much free time. And I did them all with Aven Preservation Path.
@@protagkun8859 same and I completely agree. My best on some dices before getting Aventurine was Conundrum 10 with double sustain, and I didn't even bother with Conundrum 11 since I knew I'd pull for Aventurine.
Company time and Pursuit were the only 2 dices I cleared at Conundrum 12 easily before getting him, but with Aventurine solo sustain on Preservation Path I feel like I'm actually cheating, 'cause no run has ever felt so free.
@@protagkun8859 I mean, when choosing a path you're just choosing a resonance ability basically, with the company time dice you can have literally every blessing on a good run so it won't matter what path you chose, you would still have every preservation blessing to benefit aventurine and can still get every erudition blessing to benefit Acheron, plus some really good ones like the Hunt or rememberance that do a lot of DMG and qol.
@@agusganji It's different with Preservation though and I'll explain why. You're right, with most other paths it doesn't matter as much cause of the path bonuses just giving more damage. And every blessing can result in more damage as well.
But when it comes to Preservation, the Shield Strength obtained through that path is *invaluable*. No amount of blessings can offer the same value in Shield Strength as the path itself. And in a Preservation Run, the Shield strength is EVERYTHING. Shield strength = Unkillable, Shield strength translates to more Damage. That's why especially for shield characters, the path matters more than the dice. As we saw with Moga, purely out of the fact he didn't go Preservation Path, his Aventurine was unable to sustain. He had the damage, he definitely did. Because he chose a damage oriented path. Just no survivability.
Nah. I unlocked all dices along the way up to condrum 12. Just need to READ what the dices do and plan your paths along with it.
I suck at this game and even I know that you should use preservation path with Adventurine teams. It doesn't just buff your shield but your dps output as well.

Just so you know, the “one percent shield” blessing is absolutely BROKEN, I’ve had “pure” runs (not doing strata that give infinite Ruan Mei’s) where it and the enhanced two star blessing of “increase shield strength by 35%” had a shield of like 40 thousand
Moga, my recommendation is to go main Path Preservation and to get Erudition blessings along the way. Erudition is good, but it's main sellpoint isn't the Path Resonance, it's the Brain in a Vat mechanic, which is available as long as you get either of the two 3 star blessings.
Preservation Path with Aventurine can EASILY carry you through Conundrum 12 and deals a ton of damage while not allowing you to take damage (I managed to complete C12 with every dice, meaning that you don't even need that much luck since some dices actually suck). Preservation Path can be a little slow in the beginning, but Acheron's Technique can easily bypass some of the fights, and my recommendation is to pick up some form of healing in the beginning (heal for Skill point used or heal whenever you Ult are both great, the healing per turn curio is also good), but if you don't need it then the more you progress the less it's gonna be useful since Preservation Runs generally tend to be no damage taken runs
My general recommendations are to pick useful Preservation blessings first, then Erudition and the Elation. Elation is sometimes a long term investment since you need a specific 3 star blessing to abuse it, but with it you enhance your damage by a lot while also allowing Aventurine to build stacks for every Ult used, which translates to more FUAs, which means more damage (from elation), more debuffs (from Signature LC) and more shields (for Preservation Damage but also survivability)

Just for fun, which dice do you think suck the most? I think almost if not all the dice that don’t give you benefits till you get to a boss are terrible, and I also hate the dice that makes you skip over spaces to get its boosts. The one that adds countdown is also pretty nice as it’s the easiest to not have to worry about planar disarray happening with
@@gameb9oy the one that incentivizes using buff dice faces is absolutely terrible, at least from my experience. Most dice buffs don't do that much, some are good, but still, you generally gain much more benefits from having a duplication dice face, to go into as many Reward or Aventure domains.
The one that makes you skip over faces I assume is Pursuit, and it's generally my go to dice, you really want to have as many cheat and rerolls to duplicate useful domains and move through them, it's true that it only gives buffs when you avoid adjacent domains, but if you have some luck you can just skip up and down through the entire board. I love this dice because this one makes the 3rd plane much larger, and I tend to not care about

The problem is that high level gold and gears content does so much damage that playing dps based paths like erudition or hunt is just not worth it, if you go path of preservation with adventurine the dying issues goes away and you still get OK damage

I’ve never had this problem where my team is in constant struggle to survive, whether I use Fu Xuan or Aventurine as I always use Nihility. I rely on the blessing that heals your entire team upon enemies taking DoT dmg.
Sure, I do worry about one shots- and I would change Fu Xuan and Aventurine’s SpD boots with Hp or Def respectively.
Btw you should have went with preservation path, if you play it right you can have 100k shields doing 2 mil per attack on every character and 6 mil when being attacked with the right strat and b the right blessings

Gold and Gears is a gamemode where defensive blessings are very important, not only that the way you build your map is very important. Creating a dice can look like cheating if you make a crazy combination. You don't need to think about it if you don't want to but you can easly find strong builds in the internet or come up with some urself. It takes time tho. You can for example make both ruan mei appear in almost every run, make the game generate crazy amount of fragments and buy all blessings with duplicating shops over and over.

Preservation main path with Erudition SECONDARY. Aventurine's shields are extremely important here especially with a lack of healing.
Redo this with a path that will actually show off his potential rather than Acheron's.
Moga, I definitely did GGV lvl 12 with Conundrum 10+ with Aventurine, Sparkle, Bronya and Ruan mei with Preservation Path... In GG, if you will be in GGV lvl 6 and up and you will be using another path besides Preservation, You will need FuXuan c2 or Fuxuan with another sustain... I had tried my best to clear GG prior Aventurine Banner and I had a lot of oopsie, everyone dies from a trotter... now I cleared all the dices with Aventurine Preservation path... at first plane, I have Acheron just to finish mobs fast coz GG takes so much time... but yeah... Aventurine with the 3 gold blessings of the preservation is goated
Unbiased and constructive criticism here.
1.If your Aventurine is E0 S1, you should always strive to build him for Sub DPS because the damage does add up at that point. So maybe switch to a CDMG body and def boots instead. I personally have had very good luck with my aventurine relics so I was able to hit 32 c rate (+48) 160 c dmg (+40 w/sig) with 5k def and 112 spd (123 w/rm), and his ult hits like 100k in moc and follow ups do like 50k. But ofc my relics are very unrealistic and shouldn't be the standard but I do believe that even if your build is 10-15% weaker than mine it would still be worth it.
2.Then comes the choice of your path in GnG. If your playing ANY shielder, play the preservation path because that thing can stack up to like 80-90k shields with the right blessings (I myself have gotten 50k+ shields but my friends somehow managed 90k+). The ridiculous amount of damage that is outputted from these massive shields cannot go unmentioned.
3.If your running an offensive path, think about bringing 2 sustains instead, it works better and makes the runs much more comfortable.
I don't think Aventurine is bad nor do I think he is worse than Fu Xuan but I agree that his value does change based on team comps and situations.

Why test characters in gng when it’s about the path and the dice effect not about the characters?
For my opinion if you don't use Preservation Path then get Blessings like Elation, Preservation and Your chosen path has priority because one getting the Elation card that makes your Ult converts into a FUA makes aventurine and also your DPS deal even more damage also even tho you have less damage blessings aventurine will still perform amazing Shield wise and Damage wise in Gold and Gears no matter what Difficulty and Conundrum you are I Beat V12 because of aventurine so If you're using Erudition with Acheron and aventurine always and always in my opinion Get Preservation for Shields, Elation for more damage, Erudition for even more damage at least if you have less Erudition blessing your damage with your DPS and with Aventurine will perform Amazing that's why he's the best Shielder and Sup DPS.
Also get Curios that benefits you to get more Fragments, more blessings, more Damage and Support.
I was struggling soo hard with swarm and golds and gear final level honestly aventurine saved my ass with those endgame content, like i cleared those without even trying. the preservation path with a shielder is just that broken
