    As a frequent flyer, it would be great to have a modern airport. The current system of various terminals scattered too far is confusing and uncomfortable waiting to depart or arrivals.

      No longer it will have 🚆 train system from the airport all the way to different point station in mega Manila.

    I wish there was some explanation of what we are looking at in the video....it seems like...
    1) the airport seem to have a main building and hall in the middle
    2) and five wings with a total of about 70 gates
    3) Only one runway is visible on the second image. Which imply that they will build the entire terminal initially with only one operating run way. (the run way is not shown on this video but is shown in others).
    4) Each gate appear to cater to different sized aircraft.
    5) There are permanet bridge ways that extends to the tarmac to a low tower were the movable bridge that attaches to the aricraft will be.
    6) there is a vast open sky roof such that the airport will be well lighted during the day
    7) the baggae Carousel has its own hall
    8) it is a multi level building with at least three floors
    9) There are two levels within the wings were the gates are located . one level for arriving passengers and another level for departing passengers
    10) The bridge way on the tarmac connects to the upper and lower levels of the wings of the terminal.
    11) In the main building there is a vast open area on the second floor which can cater to shops and stores or restaurants.
    12) An Image shows the second level inside the wings of the building
    13) there is an area where baggage inspection/xray machines are located and there are more than 10 x ray machines lined up in a hall.
    14) the check in counter hall is vast and has a simillar layout to other large international airports.
    15) the baggage xray machines, and personnel metal detector door ways. and they are all located in a huge hall.
    16) the check in area and the lay out is similar to other large international airports in other countries
    This is just my personal opinion.

      No If The One Runway Is Visible Doesn't Mean It Will Only Have One Runway It Will Have 4 Parallel Runways It Is The Mistake SMC Did It

    I have a question that someone might answer. Why are we not adopting other countries' design using space frame technology as part of building material/structure?

      That's why there's a Subway connecting from Bulacan express train to common train station somewhere in balintawak or north av (correct me if I'm wrong)to Makati and bgc and somewhere South to naia

    Why is this built, owned and controlled by oligarch corporations and not by the government as a national asset??? Who is bearing the costs and making the money on this? And what happens to the existing NAIA will it be torn down and all gone to waste? This project does not sound right..

    • @filipinalaoagan5658
      @filipinalaoagan5658 5 років тому +1

      you know very well that government have no money, after decades of corruptions, ...you should be thankful that somebody out there is or are happy to build project like that for the people without government to spend...it can create jobs for the people too...another government problem to be lessened abt umemployment... the NAIA will still be NAIA..serving its purpose too .. but its not enough to accommodate travellers..compared to other Asian countries NAIA is nothing..for its 3 to 4 million foreign visitors only while others have ten to 30 million a year..

    • @exs1803
      @exs1803 5 років тому

      @@filipinalaoagan5658 Dont be so naive. No money want to spend, spend and spend on all these edifices, want to catch up with and outshine others? And bragging and boasting how the country is growing and getting richer, the GDP is like hit the sky? You think those corporations building the infrastructures doing out of charity and love, not money and profits? Hahahaha These corporation takes the revenue and earning from running the airport. But if they are in trouble, guess who will have to bail them out but the government from public money. Because these projects cant afford to fail, they are too big, the country reputation is at stake. There is no free lunch in this world. Nothing is for free.And the company building the airport has no great track record or experience in it.
      I think people are carried away by their pride to have something big and grand to show off. Jobs will be created for the NMIA but jobs will also be lost for those in NAIA. Airports are build to cater to increasing number of passengers but not to creating them. People dont visit a country because of its airport. The NAIA handles 45 million passengers a year and these are mostly locals not foreigners as foreign tourists arrival only total 6.6 million a year for the whole of the Philippines.
