I'd say I'm in, but I'm a real man and that wouldn't fit 😂 jk, buddy. I have had an 8kw diesel heater just like yours for 2 years now to heat my rooftop tent and my daughter's teardrop camper. They're amazing. Even split into both areas, I have to set the thermostat or we will get too dang hot. I even recently upgraded to a Bluetooth thermostat so I can control it with my phone instead of stretching the original thermostat up to my rooftop tent. Once you figure the settings out, you'll really love it. I can totally fill up, and run a couple nights off the same tank of fuel and powered by my solar batteries.

Yeah, dual 135ah solar batteries, 200w solar panel, and an 1800w power inverter and we run the refrigerator and my daughter's teardrop off of it. Plus can charge phones, power the portable internet, watch movies on the projector....for being a broke, disabled guy, I've done ok. Bought little by little and then installed when I had everything 😂 really the only things I have left are finish building the slide out kitchen (building it with free pallet wood) and then new rear factory air shocks, the 2.5-3" lift, and hopefully some Firestone helper airbags so I don't blow another set of factory air shocks 🤣

Being a tree tent I didn't know how well the hot tent would work. Probably wouldn't have as well if you hadn't lined the bottom with the other sleeping bags. Brilliant idea, probably a bit too loud for Zday though lol

I have these tents you can stack them or add a "shelf" on underneath. You can get inside from the side and the over a netting around the base

We have tentsile tree tents. We have the stingray and the vista. That holds 3. Bought from the UK. You can buy the ladder and go up higher or stack them. You have to really remind people you need 3 perfect trees set apart
I’ve stacked 3 tree tents before. That’s a cool setup. I haven’t used my rope ladder yet but plan to soon. Yes, you do need 3 trees semi uniform in a triangle. thanks for watching

I would love a heated jacket and gloves. With my heat condition, I get super cold. The Vevor diesel heater is pretty inexpensive. We had Espar diesel heaterscin our semi trucks. They cost about $1500 plus installation. My heaters would run 10 hrs a day and be used almost every day once the temps get cold. the igniter would need to be replaced yearly. the burner also would need to be cleaned yearly. You wouldn't believe the amount of soot that builds up in the system. But the igniter and cleaning the burner is a pretty easy job. Fun video.

At 21° f using the diesel heater in my inflatable tent I had to leave it on the lowest setting. And even with the lowest setting that baby was 72°. Which is not a bad thing because that way I know that if I'm in the single digits or below zero and I cranked that diesel heater it will keep me toasty! 😁

How high is that tent and how do you climb into it?
Here is only stomach height. I only used the trap door and I just pushed myself up and sat on the edge to get in. It also has a door on each side you can climb into. They sell a rope ladder for it too if you want to set it up higher. Thanks for watching

Why do you have a carbon oxide detected? Isn't a diesel heater blowing warm air?
Hot tenting 101: if there is a heat source for your tent, have a CO alarm and Smoke Detector. Shit happens. Rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Also think it’s important to keep it on everyone mind this time of year. People getting into hot tenting may not think about it, but they might now. Thanks for watching

I bought 3 moving blankets from Harbor freight. To use as a under quilt for our Stingray along with a 3 cheap tarps. I attached the tarps and the moving blankets to each other with adhesive folded them so they matched the underside of the Stingray so you could still use the bottom hatch. Sewed them together and hung it with bungee cords. It does a good job of insulating the floor. I don't know if I needed to or not but I tapped my seems. Also I wish a medium would fit me it sounds like a really nice jacket so good luck to the people it will fit. I'm glad you're enjoying your Stingray too. God bless and stay safe.

Like the idea of your underquilt. Tentsile sells a quilted floor that goes inside that’s why I went the bags. First thought about attaching them underneath but this was way easier lol. Bless you too and thanks for watching
