- Between 2018 and early 2021, I did my Masters program in AI and Robotics at Sapienza Universita Di Roma (Rome), Italy. In this video, I shared a detailed process about tuition fees and scholarships.

Yes, I believe you can. I know someone whose first degree was in Economics and she did the MSc Data Science.

Hello Mz Yetty, are we to apply for a scholarship differently or all we need to make is just one application to be considered for a scholarship?
Applying for the scholarship is different from applying for the admission. You apply for the scholarship(s) after admission has been given. I majorly spoke about one scholarship but I dropped others in the description box.

I’m not sure if you can go for AI and Robotics but don’t take my words for it, check the school website and the links I shared (requirements should be there). Alternatively, you can go for the masters in Data science which I believe relevant experience should qualify you. The link for courses are in the description.

@@Jbaby-yn2go Yea CIMEA documentations right? yeah I think it's mandatory requirements for them. I'm in the process of doing it. But I think it just Bsc cert and transcript cos WAEC was not used as a requirement in any of the admissions process

I'm asking in view of a student that intends to apply for the regional scholarship (Lazodisco) which from the video can only be completed and secured while in Italy.
2) If yes to (1) will it be refunded after getting the scholarship?
1. The payment can be made in installments up until the second semester.
2. Yes, every payment once you get the scholarship is refunded.
I advise you try to check nothing has changed regards Item 1 as it may differ by university as well.

I'm sorry about this, honestly don't know an alternative. Maybe you can try with a friend's/family card. It's just Nigeria cards doing what they know how to do best sadly.
You can create a virtual dollar card then you use for payment

I submitted my documents for pre-enrolment on April 24, 2022 after getting a positive response from my pre-application process from the University of Verona. Please how long does it take before one gets to hear from the University after submitting the pre-enrolment?
Usually it takes 3 to 4 weeks.
Mine wasn’t that long, it took 2weeks to receive validation from the university of Verona. Perhaps you should email them to inquire the progress.
Thank you Sandra Oyoyo for answering my question. I actually wrote back to the University of Verona on May 13, 2022 to find out about the situation of my pre-enrolment. The reply I got was that they are evaluating all the pre-enrolments. I have not heard from them again and it appears it is taking longer than necessary. I don't know what to do next.

When I was trying to complete my application, they asked for an English document. And in the programs requirements , it was stated that they may waive English exams for prospective students who had studied their first degree in English.
What English document am I to upload? Or what can I do?
This is true. In my own case, my undergrad BSc transcript from Nigeria has it written in it that the language of instruction was in English. I don't know if this is the case for all schools in or outside of Nigeria but since it was written in my transcript, it was enough. If your school doesn't have it written in your certificate or transcript like mine, you may want to find out if the school gives letter headed paper. Otherwise, I think your English grade in your WAEC exam can be enough.

1)did you pay your tuition fees when you were still in Nigeria or when you arrived italy? If yes, was it full or half payment. Also was the payment done before applying for your visa.

1. I paid after arrival, you will enrol (where they will check all your certificates and afterwards enrol). Since I got the Laziodisco scholarship, I had to pay only 186 euros so I paid at once. However, if for example, one doesn't get the scholarship and they have to pay 1,000 euros. 2. I honestly can't answer cos I had computer science background. Do check the requirement page and verify yourself. You can check Data science masters too. In short, this information is something I can't answer, do check the school website.
3. Yes, of course - you need a bank statement for proof of funds for any study visa.

@@elvisnosakhare7247 HMmm, I actually don't know any agency/individual who helps people for Italy admissions. However, you can just google the list of public universities in Italy. Most public uni in Italy has the same range of tuition fees.

Is there job opportunities as you study?
I wouldn't say "Yes or No" as it's highly dependent on your background and how fast you can learn the language, also dependent on the city population and exposure to foreigners. I got an internship during my study because I used to work as a Software engineer before my master's, and it's a field that doesn't really require you to know the Italian language, plus I schooled in the capital city.
However, I can tell you it's harder to get job opportunities in Italy because of the language barrier if we compare it to US, UK or Germany.
