You wouldn't want to go to the same thrift store "a couple times a week". Thrift stores have a respawn timer on items. You develop multiple routes of stores and rotate those routes weekly. This way you're never going back to the same store for an extended period of time and when you finally do, there's all new fresh items.
The goodwill stores in my area just jacked up their prices. Prices on jeans went from $5.99 to $7.99 as an example. Our goodwill bin store is a borderline riot.
Our bins is still pretty much you’re taking your life in your own hands. Very difficult to build relationships but man I find some good stuff if I’m patient
Don’t put her in the group! It’s not authentic. Do the experiment with someone else next year and do an experiment where they try doing things that they learn via UA-cam resellers. Or via group mentorship.
i just came from the goodwill bin in allapatah here in Miami and it was chaos. Everytime they would switch bins people would run to them after they were allowed to for very very low quality items
Don’t put her in the group or give out her ebay name. If you want to see if someone can make it without the UA-camr advantage, then she shouldn’t get free advertising on your show!
Hi, I find a lot of nice quality products but they’re all 599 at Goodwill like you said shoes or $10 don’t go to Salvation Army they have dirty shoes for $25. How much to pay for these things you tell me I’ve been buying shoes cleaning them and reselling them, they go for 999 and I sell for 25
Out of context, I know. Where can I best sell a good lot of Pokemon cards? I have Charmander, Bulbasaur, and several others with the star symbols in the left-hand bottom corner and ones with a lightning bolt in the right-hand bottom corner (?). Trainer cards and energy cards. They are probably all from the same era since they are in the same book. What do I do with these? I generally deal in junk and get overwhelmed when I find something that may have value and I usually end up losing on the sale...I would rather not keep doing that lol. Any ideas everyone? As far as Goodwill making it hard for resellers...well didn't we see that coming? Its about the sell-through rate on the eBay platform, keeping up with the postal rates, and being present on the site however, sometimes I ignore the site often and get sales. Last few months it has been unopened Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm I had a box of...oddly I am at the end. I just had to price them right I think. Anyway...how do I get these Pokemon cards and also a small album of signed fantasy cards album sold without getting ripped off?
I love your content Chris, but this was very discouraging to the point I felt like…why even continue to re-sell anymore? There has to be a better way to stay in the game.
I know. I feel like most people shouldn’t. Just being honest. It’s becoming more and more designed for volume selling, and most people don’t want that. If you’re reselling just for fun, then it’s completely fine, but most people do it to earn extra money.
No idea what goodwill bins you’re talking noise but in those I shop it’s getting worse and worse every year. They filter more and more to keep for online and leave for bins literal trash

yep, so true. the big guys not only picked all the low hanging fruit, they cut down the orchard.
That’s what aptdeco is, they work prominently with William Sonoma, west elm and pottery barn and resell directly from the outlets

This is like The Game of Life: Reseller Edition
Women complain about their BF's. Maybe they should just choose better men in the beginning..
