the john cena us championship spinner belt from like 2002 or whenever it was. it was way worse than the edge version of the wwe championship spinner belt.
Honestly. While the 2018/19 TNA tag titles weren't thebest, the colours made it look better. But the 2020 ones were just down right awful. That red didn't look well at all, least the new ones look so much better.
She already has the Barbie purse. It’d be such great heel heat for her to bring the butterfly belt back after her cash-in & give a decent pop to whoever beats her to bring back the Women’s title, but I doubt they’ll ever do it because social media would turn it into a controversial mess & claim the division is regressing.
Couple things. -The Spinner Belt was cool when first introduced, but it definitely overstayed it's welcome. Especially after the ruthless aggression era ended. -The Hardcore title was never supposed to look pretty and that was part of it's charm. And I'll stand by that all day. Though the custom designs by Dreamer & Bradshaw were kind of goofy. -The OG NXT championship I didn't actually have an issue with it, it was an okay design. But the new versions were 100% a solid upgrade.
There's two things you can never take away from that belt: 1. It absolutely defined its era. 2. It undeniably looked important and something the roster would actually want to strive for.
I don't hate the spinner as a design for Cena. It was his belt, same as the Smoking Skull. But when he was on the other show wrestling for the WHC and Hardy and HHH were still fighting over the Spinner, that was dumb. Imagine if 2000, while Austin was hurt, HHH and Rock fought over the Smoking Skull Belt.
Honestly. The Universal title wouldn't have been so bad if it had it's own look. The fact it didn't, and basically ALL of WWE's titles lately have same look for both women and Men. It's kinda. Yawn. The tag belts on other hand, looked better when they were Silver with the brand colours, as the first ones looked yuck.
The universal title upon debut, was booed so bad. On peacock they cut the segment, on their youtube channel it was edited via Mick Foley's entrance music.
jeff hardy’s belt in tna was the same idea of the fiends belt and it did not look bad at all. i wouldnt put that one on this and it made me mad online just looking at the thumbnail 😂
Man that whole Laycool Co-Women's champions was so cursed. Not only it was bs to have two different people for the same singles belt, but we are lead to believe they can just easily rip a belt like that in two when they are supposed to be made of solid metal? Plus it just made Laycool a lot more annoying and yeah I know they were heels but their act ran it's course
Dave Millican admitted that the fans were gonna hate the copper titles, he didn't want to use copper, he wanted them to be either gold, silver or a mix of both, it was Stephanie McMahon's idea to have the titles copper.
I never liked the spinner belt. Who would have guessed it was replacing the classic and criminally underused Undisputed design and not being used as a vanity title for “Chain Gang” Cena. Easily my least favorite design. I suppose we were lucky with the universal design being the only color coordinated title. Vince could have easily swapped the black strap of the WWE title for whatever color show it was on.
The universal title when it was debuted, immediately got on my nerves for the simple fact that, THEY JUST TOOK THE WWE TITLE AND FLIPPED THE COLORS 😭😭😭
I'm surprised they didn't bring up the Black and Silver ECW Championship. Because the original ECW title was clean and when they introduced that it felt like a downgrade.
The Jeff Hardy immortal championship belt wasn't bad. It was ment for Jeff. Same goes for Bray Wyatts championship. I'm surprised the Daniel Bryan ECO championship belt wasn't on the list.
The Divas butterfly title was tacky and childish. Looking at it now as an adult, it really further showed how they didn't take women's wrestling seriously. And the Women's title back then was awful too. The 2010s bronze and silver coin looking tag team titles was so hideous, the worst. The blue and red universal titles were a mess. The 24/7 title was just a giant watch. Today the only ugly belt WWE have is the Men's tag team titles on Raw. They need to get rid of them and only keep 1 set of tag titles for the men.
I didn’t hate the 24/7 or old tag team coin belts only because it reminded me of the WBC belts, but boy do I hate the current wwe championship belts 😂 just a big advertising logo belt never sat right with me lol
The WCW Hardcore Title looks far worse then the WWF Hardcore belt in every way. Besides, the WWF Hardcore title had actual fun/great matches to go along with it
I liked all but the hardcore title and women's og championship the tag titles looked good except for the copper the divas title looked better then the og women's championship
The Universal Title was always the most disappointing world title in terms of looks cause they didnt even try with it. I get the WWE Title design since it was the first one and even the womens title to a extent but a big W with a colour variation is so damn ugly. They could have made the colour coding subtle in the design if you wanted to but have a actual design to it
What’s the worst wrestling belts in yall opinions 🤔
The World Heavyweight version of the WWE title that was used from 2014-2023, the Divas title & the copper tag titles
the john cena us championship spinner belt from like 2002 or whenever it was. it was way worse than the edge version of the wwe championship spinner belt.
Honestly. While the 2018/19 TNA tag titles weren't thebest, the colours made it look better. But the 2020 ones were just down right awful. That red didn't look well at all, least the new ones look so much better.
@hgriff14 The US Spinner belt is my favorite United States championship and my second favorite championship behind the WWE Spinner belt
24/7 Title. It’s God awful.
The 24/7 belt is something like you would win in a kids game show.
i mean a kid won the tag title
@unbornforgiven we honestly can't even compare it to the tag titles at that time. The last 24/7 champion was a trash can and even IT didn't want it.
@@unbornforgiven one time i liked Nicolas winning the tag belts with strong man it was probably inspiration to a lot of kids who watch wwe to see that
Even if you dislike the WWE Spinner Title so much, you would still rather choose that title than the Red or Blue Universal Title.
Agreed
Idc what people say, Jeff's belt was dope asf
I like the hardcore title I’m not gonna lie
The hardcore title is beautiful
It’s ugly but beautiful
fr it speaks to the attitude era perfectly in my opinion. it looks like its been scrapped together
The hardcore title was a blessing back then I’ll never forget those matches
The Fiend belt looked better than the smurf belt and the strawberry laces belt which tells you a lot about the universal title 😂
Nah
No it did not 😂 that looks like something you would get from party city
Hot Take: The Divas Belt wasn't that ugly, it just stands for a bad time period in women's wrestling. It would fit Tiffy Stratton imo
Honestly, if they brought it back, put it in tiff and gave it some prestige it could serve as a good midcard title
It looked tacky and cheap. And as if it was made of plastic. Like something you'll see in a toy store.
Jeff Hardy TNA belt and Edge belt are not ugly. In my opinion. 🤷🏻♂️
they are ok for custom titles but otherwise they arent the best looking
I like Jeff's title but I hate the Rated R title
Jeff's black and white strapped ones were better to look at. The purple one...not so much
Jeff’s belt only fits Jeff. It would look ABSOLUTELY UGLY for anyone else.
def
I like the 24/7 title R-Truth made that title fun
Couple things.
-The Spinner Belt was cool when first introduced, but it definitely overstayed it's welcome. Especially after the ruthless aggression era ended.
-The Hardcore title was never supposed to look pretty and that was part of it's charm. And I'll stand by that all day. Though the custom designs by Dreamer & Bradshaw were kind of goofy.
-The OG NXT championship I didn't actually have an issue with it, it was an okay design. But the new versions were 100% a solid upgrade.
The WWE Spinner belt is my favorite championship
Low-key, I actually like the hardcore title
The Jeff hardy belt was amazing idk what this guy is on. Shit went hard with his outfits and entrance
Ross face had me crying 😂😂😂 at 1:37
Ross got everybody script bro knew everything that was coming up😂
This might be my nostalgia speaking but I didn’t really mind the bronze WWE Tag Team Championship.
Same thing I said. Up till this day, I still don’t know what’s wrong with it
I didn't mind either. It was the RAW & Smackdown Tag Team Championships I hated
i think its the roman helmets on it at least thats why i think they are ugly
it’s probably the nostalgia but I never minded the bronze titles but I agree they look like penny belts
I hated them at first but they grew on me way faster than any of the other "modern belts".
Honestly in recent years ive grown to actually like the wwe spinner belt, mostly when cm punk held it 🤷♂️
There's two things you can never take away from that belt:
1. It absolutely defined its era.
2. It undeniably looked important and something the roster would actually want to strive for.
I'll just say this if the copper tag team championships if they just made the helmet part designed better they'd look like dope championships
Love you ross
Og nxt title is still my favorite
10:04 “dirty ass pennys” 😂
I don't hate the spinner as a design for Cena. It was his belt, same as the Smoking Skull. But when he was on the other show wrestling for the WHC and Hardy and HHH were still fighting over the Spinner, that was dumb. Imagine if 2000, while Austin was hurt, HHH and Rock fought over the Smoking Skull Belt.
I loved Jeff Hardy's Immortal Belt. It worked for him.
Jeff’s was so strange I loved it
Great video man 👍👍👍👍👍.
I was *so* relieved when the World Title looked like an actual title belt for once.
23:20 omg the MINI BELT I forgot about that
I feel the titles that are round it stands for all around a great wrestler
I can’t stand how the 24 seven title looks It looks like a green yellow cookie
I actually Liked The First NXT Belt. It was Pretty Unique and Creative. (Well at least For The Front Plate.)
Daniel Bryan hemp belt was a terrible sight😂😂😂😂
24/7 looks more like a boxing championship belt
I remember u can spin the spinner in svr 09 nice little Easter egg for that time
The universal title leather looks like a wad of taffy that got ran over by a pick-up truck.
I used to be mesmerized by the Jeff Hardy TNA title
Hardcore title has more character than any current title belts
Tbh, the Immortal Jeff Hardy title actually looks better with the black strap rather than the purple strap.
The Fiend belt kicked ass. It was super grotesque and fit the character perfectly. 🤷🏼♂️
The universal title upon debut, was booed so bad. On peacock they cut the segment, on their youtube channel it was edited via Mick Foley's entrance music.
Honestly, I didn’t know what was wrong with the brown/bronze tag team belts(probably because I was young then)
You said it, it was bronze/brown. Thy looked like Pennies
jeff hardy’s belt in tna was the same idea of the fiends belt and it did not look bad at all. i wouldnt put that one on this and it made me mad online just looking at the thumbnail 😂
I loved the blueberry title just cause Bray was the one who debuted it .. sadly it’s not on the wwe shop anymore, I really wanted to get it
The first AEW Women's title or even the current IC & US Titles when they were first introduced.
The current IWGP World Heavyweight Championship belt deserved to be on that list of ugliest belt designs.
The Bradshaw belt looks like something hank hill would get lmao
Could you do a reaction to Jeff Hardy’s heel run in TNA
Dave Millican admitted that the fans were gonna hate the copper titles, he didn't want to use copper, he wanted them to be either gold, silver or a mix of both, it was Stephanie McMahon's idea to have the titles copper.
I liked the Fiend belt
The WWE Spinner belt is my favorite championship
13:52 thats when womens tag titles needed to be created fr
I never liked the spinner belt. Who would have guessed it was replacing the classic and criminally underused Undisputed design and not being used as a vanity title for “Chain Gang” Cena. Easily my least favorite design.
I suppose we were lucky with the universal design being the only color coordinated title. Vince could have easily swapped the black strap of the WWE title for whatever color show it was on.
I love the WWF Hardcore title belt know matter how ugly it is it’s still beautiful to me.
i liked the 24/7 belt, but i agree that it isnt a belt that i'd considered to look like a prize
The universal title when it was debuted, immediately got on my nerves for the simple fact that, THEY JUST TOOK THE WWE TITLE AND FLIPPED THE COLORS 😭😭😭
I love the spinning belt. Did you see the CM Punk one they are selling now!? I love it!!
Imagine if they used that design when punk was champion
@ I don’t know if Punk would love it but I damn sure would. The channel WrestleJuice did an unboxing of it and I was 😍🤩 it looks amazing!
divas the best out the list not even the worse just a bad time period tbr
I liked the divas belt. Maybe I just don’t see what others are seeing.
I'm surprised they didn't bring up the Black and Silver ECW Championship.
Because the original ECW title was clean and when they introduced that it felt like a downgrade.
A scary title belt 🤔 I think I think all the titles are cool 🏆
I like the rated r wwe title. It's not too bad
The Fiend belt is proof that The Fiend, as a character, did not need the title.
The red and blue tag team belts were TERRIBLE 😭
The Jeff Hardy immortal championship belt wasn't bad. It was ment for Jeff.
Same goes for Bray Wyatts championship.
I'm surprised the Daniel Bryan ECO championship belt wasn't on the list.
12:33 Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone is the reason 💯💯
I’m glad Ross mention the original AEW women’s title. It look so awful at the time, but the new one looks way better.
The Black Jeff Hardy Immortal Belt, the Rated R Spinner belt, and the OG NXT Belt don't look ugly.
I still like the undesputed and spinner titles
The Divas butterfly title was tacky and childish. Looking at it now as an adult, it really further showed how they didn't take women's wrestling seriously.
And the Women's title back then was awful too. The 2010s bronze and silver coin looking tag team titles was so hideous, the worst. The blue and red universal titles were a mess. The 24/7 title was just a giant watch. Today the only ugly belt WWE have is the Men's tag team titles on Raw. They need to get rid of them and only keep 1 set of tag titles for the men.
He shat heavily on the fiend and Rated R belts 😭
Nikki Bella said it better about Divas Title, "You look ugly, but I still want you"
Jeff Hardy’s belt was fire idc what nb say
As bad as the Universal belts were, those penny and nickel colored tag belts were the worse
I hated every spinner belt
In my opinion I like the fiend championship belt
Honestly all of the WWE championship belts are hideous even now. The eagle title is only championship belt that was beautiful
While the Divas title is atrocious, at the very least it’s more unique than the women’s titles we have now.
Besides, the WWF Hardcore title had actual fun/great matches to go along with it
Unpopular opinion i liked The WWE Universal Championship Blue Version, & The WWE Tag Team Championships
The fiend belt was so expensive if i remember right
I like it the diva title I don't care what nobody say
I liked all but the hardcore title and women's og championship the tag titles looked good except for the copper the divas title looked better then the og women's championship
The the problem with the spinner belt was it lasted too long 2005 - 2013
modernized belts is a better term
I disagree with a lot of these bring categorized as "ugly". My last favorite design tho is between the penny belts and OG FTW belt.
I'm gonna be honest: The Original FTW belt was better looking than the current AEW version
The spinner belt is not bad it just overstayed it’s welcome it fitted the time period
The fiend belt original cost 6500 dollars
I like edge I have a replica of it.
So were their 2 2/7 titles? One for men and women?
I’ll never hate on anything belt wise with Jeff hardy I know ppl bash it but he’s my fav wrestler ever idc lol
Nooo don't show me badbunny face
Traumatized after hearing the audio of him with Diddy.
The blue universal title belt wasn't that bad tbh
The Universal Title was always the most disappointing world title in terms of looks cause they didnt even try with it. I get the WWE Title design since it was the first one and even the womens title to a extent but a big W with a colour variation is so damn ugly.
They could have made the colour coding subtle in the design if you wanted to but have a actual design to it
ngl wish the new women's belts we're more creative all they change is making the strap white
Yo
Spinner Belt hate in what year?
The WWE Spinner belt is my favorite championship
