I'm not a big gaming lets play type of UA-camr, but you KNOW I have to play any big Garfield fan-games that come out. This one was highly recommended. I experimented with the format a bit. I recorded a playthrough with a really low quality xbox 360 mic (or something close to it). I also have been watching a lot of video essays as of late, so I did some video essay asmr type narration as well. The result is something new, but I like how it turned out.
If this video pops off, I'd consider playing another scary game this way, but if not, I'll get back to drawing and I'll play another game down the road.
Always love seeing new Garfield Horror Stuff!

Actually and extremely interesting take on the lets play type format, I love how you voice over it like your thoughts are talking outload but we also hear your genuine reactions. Big fan of this content and I hope to see more stuff like this in the future.

i think I've saw some type of content like this before but the voice overs were always brief and never took a whole part in the video, i think i might've seen it in game reviews but i dunno

Thank you! I've been watching LOTS of video essays lately (currently watching action button reviews boku no natsuyasumi) so I thought it would be a fun mixup to have that kind of narration in a regular lets play. I like the final result!

No, horror Garfield genre has existed long before Lumpy Touch created gorefield. It might've been inspired by gorefield and it may not have. We never know.

I really love this mix of half real time game footage reaction and half voice acting/sketch related editing and details, and the cherry on top of course was the mic quality for this type of game - loving that you get a chance to explore different avenues of expression and supporting other creators' works while always adding a Lumpy Touch to it

I like this format, I just wish we could watch it without the voiceover, and just watch your first reactions too, on like a second channel or something.
I really think the video as a whole suffers if it's only the crappy mic, the gimmick feels like it gets old fast
But, maybe I'm wrong? We'll see what the consensus is.

@@LumpyTouch I basically have the same opinion as his except the second channel thing most UA-camrs that make a second channel with content different from the main one fail and leave the channel dead after a couple of videos and i think your subscribers would fine with gaming content.

I've noticed that Lumpys Garfield voice is very similar to the one Frank Walker does in the Garfield show.
I personally prefer Lorenzo Music as Garfield, but theres something about Frank Walker that fits with the audio filters he put in
