I wonder what is under the hood of Sistema. Does it have an internal synth engine or is it generating audio waveforms and mapping them across the keyboard using a neural network? Does it have to be connected to the cloud to work? This is interesting but it seems to be sort of gimmicky so far. I am sure the algorithms will improve.

I think it doesn't need cloud connection, as you have do sign in to use it. But I'm not sure

I'm guessing it's generating waveforms and then using them like a wavetable synth would, just without the table.
