Your “speech” (from about 8:30 on) should be published/legal disclaimer on/for/from ALL club manufacturers. Well done sir. Example: Everyone wants to use a 7 iron during your fitting. You make a decision, buy the sticks, get them home and find out your not Jack Nicholas and really can’t hit a 1 iron (19 degree 4 iron), just like Lee Trevino said. On the way to the range I’m thinking “I won’t even need a 3 wood anymore lol!”. Yet when I get there I’m on my phone trying to find a 9 wood so I can play golf again. Thanks for your honesty. Like you said “be careful”. I’ll add: it’s all smoke and mirrors...
I tested both and chose the Mizunos. Loved the feel of the Pings but my ball speed was considerably higher with Mizuno and they felt just as good. By the way, you can power loft the Mizunos, too - up to 2*.
@willfrix Hi Will, thanks for the comment, both pretty good irons and if you can see a clear benefit then even easier to make a decision. Yes i would 99% sure Mizuno would be able to custom the lofts just be careful on that. It would possibly lower the backspin to much and affect being able to stop the ball quick enough and lose flight on the shots with the longer irons.
Hello Mark excellent comparison. Fancying the 921HM 6-SW or maybe even 7_SW with the FLI hi hybrids. Any oppions on the Fli hi hybrids and would they slot right in club for club.
@melwalker Thank you very much. If a hybrid performance in general is pretty good then I would go hybrid just check the loft on the 7 iron and you just want 4-5 degrees difference between the 7 iron and the hybrid. The hybrid would be a lot more versatile, in the rough and would be easier to get airborne. Any other questions please send them through.
I have a set of Ping G710's and a set of Mizuno JPX 850 forged. Both good, and I can't make my mind up which to play!

@jonsmith thanks for the feedback Jon 👍
The exact comparison I’ve been looking for
Excellent i hope it helps you make a decision 👍 any help you need let me know.
Good short review mark 👍🏼. I tested both the mizuno hot metals and ping g710’s just yesterday among a handful of others
I agree with your assessment on ball contact, very slight edge mizuno but both were top 3 out of the 10 iron styles I tested
@bryanwelch Excellent, at that stage your at i think it would be down to personal preferences for that final choice. Let me know how you go. 👍
Very good unbiased review Mark. Useful information. Thank you.....
Thanks Jeffrey

Hey Mark, which club head is smaller? G710 or hot metal/pro?
The hot metal looks smaller behind the ball.
Would you consider both to be SGI irons?
Hi Robbie, yes i would 👍
