  • Today we get a little on the intimate side as I share my back story from a die-hard corporate guy into a reluctant entrepreneur!
Suzi drives a wonderful interview where you get to learn:
How the vision of "entrepreneurship" can be wildly different depending on your history
How quitting your job to become an entrepreneur can be paralyzing, and how to prepare for the shift
What steps John took to replace his 6 figure salary in the first 90 days as an entrepreneur (and what he would have done differently)
Learn the exact process I used to launch my service business (and how I scaled myself out of it through personal branding) in Services By Number: servicesbynumber.com

Hey guys, how's it going? John and Suzi here from the unbeatable tech podcast. I'm so excited for you to spend some time with us here today. Suzi is going to turn the tables. If you were a part of the podcast, our previous episode got into her backstory and her history of going from a stay-at-home mom to an entrepreneur.
And in this episode, we weren't going to just turn the tables so you can see who else is here. And my story from going from. Engineering to being an entrepreneur with her side by side. So Suzi, I'm excited and nervous to Chuck.
This is going to be very eye opening for all of us to kind of see that raw side of John come out, lift the transition, which I know it sounds like this amazing thing.
I quit my job and all that, but there were some, some wonderful months to go through and transition. But before we get into that and the story of how that all had. Um, can you tell us a little bit about your background? Do you, I know most of you or most all of you,
but there might be some things that. Sneak out and still understand. So tell us about
your background. Absolutely. So I was born and raised in a little town outside of Jacksonville, Florida. So I'm kind of a country. Boy. I grew up on a little bit of land with my two older sisters and had a wonderful loving mom and dad and a fantastic childhood.
Wouldn't change a thing. Very blessed with that. A good, you know, go to church on Sunday thing. Uh, learn music, learn hard work and effort and got a fantastic upbringing. Uh, as far as like the entrepreneurial side of things, my dad was always my steadfast kind of wake up in the morning, go to work, come home, go to work the same time, come home, same time, eat the dinner.
At the same time we had that type of structure. And that kind of was my rock. My foundation of. A man is supposed to be and how he provides for his family. Um, on the other hand, my mom, she. I think similar to your story. She stayed home with the babies. You know, she had a career before becoming a mom, and then she also had this passion, her passion was anything with canines, anything dogs, she would take care of them.

Thanks for sharing your story John! I found myself a little in your story, it's overwhelming to tackle so many projects. I 've published my books, started working on developing my blog ( because of Suzi's course-of course!), then creating my ecourse, printables, coaching and mentoring program and so much more! I agree with you, to keep it simple is the best. What would you advice, John and Suzi, on how to keep up with many different projects that I've already started and working on? I am working from home and have a teen, however, it feels overwhelming at times as I m spending 10 hours daily working. At the moment I can not invest in a VA, so I need to manage them all by myself until I 'll earn enough to be able to, as my focus is to pay all the bills as a single parent.Thanks. By the way, you are such a nice couple and a true inspiration!
