Thanks for the outstanding documentary you did here. I have ordered your book and I am looking forward to reading the whole story. It’s good that he is still remembered after all this time. One comment. You asked about the location of the supposed “gay lover”. I would assume he is long gone as well. After almost 50 years since this took place plus the drug use and promiscuous sex life he led. There is almost no chance he is still alive. Again great job to you with this. Rest in peace Champ!!

There were several fighters in Philly who were influenced by Tyrone Everett, and some sparred him. Jeff Chandler Bantamweight Champion, Johnny Carter and Mike Everett his younger Brother, their are many others. I grew up in South Philly he was well known and respected! Congratulations on the new book, and this was a good interview!

“An obscure fighter from the 1970’s?!” Tyrone Everett was a LEGEND. Any true boxing fan or historian would tell you that.

The only person that can tell the real story is Michael Everett or Eddie Everett this interview and conversation about my brother is more fiction i plan on having a book written about my brother Tyrone Everett that will talk about his boxing career and life his family and friends that will include boxing Promoter Russell Pelts his manager Frank Gelb his trainer Jimmy Arthur and Tyrone boxing family that will be nonfiction that will talk about his life and boxing career not how he died this book focus more on how he died if boxing fans want to know the true story i his brother Eddie Everett will have a book writte 9:54 n to tell the true story 💯 facts i don't believe Duran at 135 fought anyone better than Tyrone Everett

I agree with you there at Lightweight Tyrone Everett was far superior to the guys Roberto Duran faced
