Push notifications don't even work on native without Firebase, let alone Flutter.
iOS has 0 possible to make notifications outside of their ecosystem, and Android makes it harder and harder to make services that send notifications with each update
You should be happy Ape hasn't blocked Firebase yet, which they probably will do eventually, and create their own service
Flutter teams are working very hard to make it better and better ❤️🇳🇵
Tried converting one of my apps to macos and holy moly, just had to add one line to allow networking from macos and bang, works perfectly resizes nicely and just has couple of graphical glitches but super easy. So happy i chose to try out Flutter!

I am using flutter since year's to build production level app after flutter 2 it's goes more interesting as to build for Web is in aplha mode.
It will be more good when all desktop platform support in aplha so the plugins get translated.
Flutter is future.

@Flutter - Please create an episode of Boring Show to teach how complex and appealing UI can be created (not the Shrine app). On one end, the demos are all based on Material UI and on the other end, Flutter's poster child apps all have use a design language/UI library that is totally unlike customizing Material UI. How do we go about building custom UI components like BMW or Hamilton Musical or Reflectly or even Google Stadia?
It seems most indians including me love flutter for its one codebase and many platforms ,,,but all are waiting for that day when we install flutter in any iot devices and use like a sci fi movie gadgets by its os

On iOS I can hook into the rendering pipeline with metal if I want to do something other than a trivial UI. On Flutter we don't even have OpenGL
There are some nice improvements here but there is still a long way to go. I'll stick with Kotlin and native apps for the time being.

Production quality support for the web is not true, SEO is part of production quality. Inventing a new renderer for it was a mistake imo it makes it non standard which has inconveniences, one of which is using the tools that are around for decades like the inspector, it's good that there is a flutter de tools though. Time will tell if you made the right choice. I also hope that dart will eventually have some data class structure that makes it easy to serialize and deserialize.Nevertheless, I'm really happy to have fully switched to flutter despite the cons

While I love Flutter, and I love Google's technologies, this year's Google IO seemed canned. Many sessions were people reading off teleprompters. With the exception of a handful of speakers, it made the sessions feel disingenuous. Having more investment in the interaction would would go a long way to generating excitement for this very cool tech.
Does anyone have a different opinion?
If you're in the Google eco system you'd probably get more excited about the actual features they're presenting.

I have more than 3 years of work experience in android and always have one question in my head. Which one is better flutter or android (Java&Kotlin)?
you can use both on flutter. e.g. you want to use features that are only available on native android and no plugins that supports it yet, you can use methodcall to call your functions in your native project. OR, you want to do heavy things like compress video/image manually using a rare algorithm or maybe encrypting messages, you can create your API using C and call it using Dart FFI

flutter is growing faster than photons
As a service to promote Flutter the costs of Flutter Flow subscriptions look way too expensive IMO. $18/mon to be able to download the code and $24/mon for the Github integration is too much. With no team/corporate options, it just looks a bit rude.
