Bullshit! Please do not drill into your trigger assembly unless you want accidental discharge(s)! Order a different spring length through your local gunsmith and avoid potential damage to your rifle or yourself!
nathan caster I shortened the Accu-release(silver pre-trigger) spring by about 4 rings then close down the last ring so it would again clamp to the accu- release. I had to stretch it a bit to have enough pre-tention but testing on the bench shows that it works awesome. I will follow up if there are any issues in the field but I don't expect any. I am at 1lb 12 oz combined pull. I have always felt the pre-trigger was too heavy. I'd like to get down to 1.5 oz
lol i have same and to low pressure cause a lot of problem ,when i down the bolt ,the accu triger its solid rock , savage is the most trash firearm ,i hate my model 10 and never buy another shity savage
I know you posted years ago, but just got mine. Thanks for the info im doing mine now👍
You can literally just trim the top of the spring half a ring at a time until.you reach the desired pull
I just cut the spring 5 coils down. It's a hair trigger now. If I want more tension I can back spring out a little.
You can also do the hair-trigger trick but it has to be reset for every shot.

Accu trigger is like a glockenspiel trigger you basically cant
Hello, do you have a video on how to remove the barrel of the Savage 93 Magnum?
what size bit did you use?
Not sure just a little larger than the spring diameter
Why not just cut the spring down? That’s what I did to the accurelease spring.
You cant because it has that funky band on the end. And this way you can still adjust it. You can screw the spring in and out.
