The most notable 2 apartments lockdown was in Sydney and Melbourne, and can also be searched. "Delta strain" haha, really? You've really been brainwashed into the fear mongering haven't you, ever since the beginning, "strains" got weaker, due to heard immunity. The only reason Australia was "hit hard" was due to the most restrictive lockdowns, the most ardent "stay away from each other", the clot shot, which has it's own safety risks. Data proves from places like Sweden and Africa where measures were least or non existent had the fewest "cases" and hospitals were not "swamped". It's silly to say Australia is pinching people, so why elaborate except to say it is longstanding Australian policy to encourage people with skills in demand at the time. The points-based system and state incentive schemes aren't discriminatory even though English language proficiency is required, thus a help to people who speak English as a first or second language throughout the world. The Australian success in stopping criminal traffickers and other illegal entrants surely stopped useless and undesirable people from settling there. The historic 'White Australia' policy upheld the highest standards of living for working Australians, thus heralding egalitarianism, and probably helping Australia achieve the highest per-person wealth in the world today.
That’s your opinion mate, and I’d have to disagree with it. At least OUR immigration policy is a damn sight better than yours, we were able to stop boat people, and put people smugglers out of business.

At 55 I don't have a choice, thanks to our successive governments we are going to be screwed, kick the damn illegals out, you come across the channel you go home and if going home puts you in danger then you should have stayed where you were safe
SAME HERE 54 IN AUGUST !! AND YOUR RIGHT KICK THE JOB LOT OUT🙏
Even if they do that lets face it, it's too late anyway. They could stop these illegals if they really wanted to but no government has any interest in doing that.
We've got millions of Brits they can have. About 11million of them in fact. We can have them shipped over to you by the end of the year if you like. No guarantees. No returns.
all this BS hype about Australia, had a friend who went there 2 years and glad he is back, it's basically UK, with higher cost stuff, crap wooden houses, dusty roads with scorching sun, flies, and sharks in every beach. Just another UK, with more Chinese, Indians, lots of japanese cars, it's like a prison, the further possible flight anywhere would be new zealand or Singapore which is 4-5 hours flight. It's woke culture, high costs, really far away from europe or even China is like a prison. you will get sick of it if you like to travel. don't forget the huntsman spider is in every city of aus, even at 24th floor of sydney apartment. so don't get drawn to the "oh but its warmer and sunn" - I would rather go spain, italy, portugal any day.
Great idea they can have all the ones who come across the channel in boats
Well RoyCampbell! Maybe if your politicians had the balls like Australian politicians, they could stop the boat people like we did, don’t you think?
Maybe we could send the 10 million foreigners that have come here in the last 20 years, divert the dinghies, and send the African and Asian students (and their families) that have arrived recently. Would solve our problems and give Australia all the extra people they need. If they are good enough for us l'm sure they are good enough for Australia. A win, win for us both 😂
Yes. A win at least for australian universities. For the UK, not so much. The british universities will lose money.
@@elipa3 But the rest of us would be better off.
Just be aware that our real estate prices in most Australian cities are just as crazy as elsewhere. I've been waiting for a property crash for well over a decade now, it's gotta happen sometime ....
I'm waiting for mars to be terraformed, this planet gets worse every day 😆👽
I lived in Australia for 5 years my family emigrated for 10 pounds each and we were called 10 pound poms, this was back in the 60's
Now im living in Canada.
I like the sound of Canada but its gone to the dogs thanks too Justin castro
@@annettegifkins-xl8ul it is worse than when I first moved here 12 years ago, but still a lovely place to live.
@@thyra_UKf u have the time machine to choose between Canada and Australia which one would you pick now and why
It is disgusting to see the age restriction from 18 to 35 .It should ideally be from 18 to 45 at least .Anyone over the age of 35 is not retired as they look for work same as under this age .I'm from Pakistan originally & naturalised as a British citizen & just for curiousity want to work in Australia but restriction of age is blocking me .
Great we’ve got all of the new So called British in London ,Leicester,Birmingham etc and our unelected PM and half his cabinet , the new Brits in Hotels at RAF Manston , RAF Scampton , how about we start by sending the Aussies some of this lot 😜🇬🇧🏴🏴
You can keep them thank you very much.
We stopped the illegal boat immigrants coming to Australia.
Maybe your politicians should come here and learn from us how to stop boat people?
We don’t want you unfortunate problems, because your poli’s won’t stop them.
Why punish Australia for our cowardice and stupidity.
They did the right thing with invading immigrants. Banned the fn lot to an island.
Job done.
Send the channel crossers direct to Sydney.
Lol...have you seen what the Aussies do if just ONE person tries to enter the country illegally? Out on the next plane..end of
Hmmm, this isn’t accurate. There are so many problems here, especially in the last few years
Feel like moving to China at this point as too old to go to Oz
'It's a long way to go for a loaf of bread.' (Paraphrasing Ronnie Barker)
😂
Doctors, nurses. dentists....
but we have "replacements" coming on dinghies
Where are your own welltrained young people?
@@elipa3 they will be going to Australia 🇦🇺
Australia isn’t all its cracked up to be.
Knew of a family all moved back to England after a few year in Oz
And neither is the UK.
Australia belongs to aboriginal Australians, not white immigrants who massacred and took their land, it's what Putin is doing Ukraine, can't just go and take someone's land, with a tiny british flag in the corner and call it sovereign lol
prob more aussie will come over here , then brits going there
Yeah, suuuuure they will shiny.
@@spearmint47 before lock down it was a right of passage for most young aussies to come to the uk probbably even more so now after the draconian lockdowns
