Abby was not at all "jacked" before and at the time when what happened to her father, which will obviously be in season 2, and with her relationship with her father probably explained even more so than in the game.

I think all the flashbacks that are from later in the game are being filmed for future seasons, if there is going to be a 3rd season, because they’ll need to show the characters younger (mainly Bella) so it’s a realistic time frame because they’ll be filming season 3 later. Or they’re just changing the sequence, who knows.
i think the seraphite at 13:42 is suppose to be Lev bcus otherwise he is not in this trailer at all and he is one of the main characters from the game, the guy on the floor seems too old to be Lev tho but it seems they are making all kinds of departures from the game so it might be him
I just looked it up and oddly enough on IMDB it doesn't have Lev OR Yara listed at all, i am worried they will not even be part of the story which is so fucked because Abby becoming a caretaker for Lev to add purpose to what was left of her life was part of what sold me on her character, it's not even really Abby without that, there's no way they could leave Lev and Yara out
You know what's funny? I saw a video mentioning this but the fact that the Pearl Jam song is being used in the TV show actually creates a timeline issue because that song released in 2013. In the show, the infection starts in 2003 and goes to 2023. In the game, it started in 2013 and jumped to 2033. I don't know why they even had to change the date of the show in the first place. I think that Neil stated Joel saw Pearl Jam in concert in an interview and that's why he heard the song but that doesn't work for the show. Regardless, I'm glad they didn't change the song either way because it's extremely fitting lyrically.
@jaredplantulli4288 My opinion is that since they used it in the trailer, it's highly likely they will use it in the full show. I wouldn't mind too much if they changed the song, but that one just fit the theme and feelings really well. I think it's a really important part of what makes TLOU 2.

I just thought it was a fun fact, considering the lengths they go to try and ensure realism in regard to setting, violence, etc. Obviously, the infected aren't realistic, but I like the other aspects of realism in the show and game. But we will have to see what they do for the show.
Everyone's just going to have to accept that Dever will not be jacked for the show. She's a good actor though so hopefully that makes up for the lack of physical imposingness

What you think is coming may not actually happen before the very end of season 2. It has already been alluded to, that we are not only talking about at least a season 2 + a season 3 based on the 2nd game, but also that the structure and chronology is going to make season 2 different from the game, while the story itself will be much the same.

One cool detail is that the sound in the trailer after the gunshot with Abby, is very much the same one that we hear with Ellie after the Joel in one.
