Government has made it so difficult to login. It virtually impossible to login. I’ve tried both last payslip and credit assessment but it fails all the time. I wasted 3 hours trying to login.

I dont have a renewed passport, so can't do that option, although I opted for that security question aswell. How do I go back and change the mode of identity proof >? ? Agh! I haven't had the right mobile number for ages on it. so Thanks for this I HAD to make a new ID just to change my mobile number.. crazy >.
Brilliant tutorial mate, thank you. I'm unable to sign into my account as it's tied to an authenticator on my old phone which I no longer have. Would I be alright to just create a new account so that I can submit my Self Assessment Tax Return? I'd call them myself but happen to be overseas at the moment!

Have you tried doing this without a passport, recent credit history or Northern Ireland driving license. Trying sort my business rates, it's a joke.
Self assessment asks for northern Ireland driving licence, WHY?????? exasperated with staggering ineptitude of HMRC.☹️

Easy for them who got UK passport but it's hard when they asking for the year of current bank account bank card phone cotractes street associated with your address. I am stuck there they always say incorrect details don't know what to do.??

At 8.12 I would have a problem here as I have only the passport. I reckon that a huge proportion of the population like me will not have payslips, P60, tax credits or voice ID. It's ridiculous that at that point that one needs to 'contact HMRC' !

Anytime you sign up record meticulously each of your details and make a document entry about it so you can easily find it in the app.
I opted for UK passport and UK driving licence but I can't get past the (5) DL Number it keeps saying (Enter a driver number in the right format) any ideas?

It would be because of credit score. Your credit line should be open so as to visible your credit score

This website is racist it's impossible to put a different passport country number
While on the phone waiting for ever to get through and getting GBH to the ear holes listening to that awful music you are told repeatedly how simple it is to go to gov.uk to deal with your issue, I wonder if any of these fools have tried signing in, no wonder the country is in the state it's in when something that should be so simple is made about as difficult as you becoming the first man to walk on Mars.
