I'd say the fact that a state judge has allowed a local state DA to prosecute someone for a federal crime when that DA doesn't have jurisdiction to do so in his court shows the judge isn't impartial.

I think he's is questioning the bias of the judge and DA more than the legality of the prosecution. Which seems to me a fair question. This trial is suspect in my opinion. Political in nature. A bookkeeping error, intentional or not, seems like a waste of the court's time. Unless it's political, which isn't justice.

The indictment itself is a violation of the 6th Amendment. The charge is that he falsified business records to cover up a crime, but the indictment doesn't say what the "crime" is.

I think it's very important to realize, the judges of modern day especially, are appointed as political currency. Merit, honesty and integrity no longer means anything. Up till now the selection of the jurors seems to be fair. Their might always a partial juror, in favor of both sides. The only problem was that Jesse Watters from Fox shared so much details of the identity of jurors, so that one of them was recognised and felt intimidated, and resigned. I hope Jesse Watters and FOX will show more responsibility from now on.

If the defendant, during legal proceedings, keeps talking BS and insulting the judge, jury, and people involved in any way he or she can, this is what happens. It's amazing how people enable this guy and support him considering all the crap that his own lawyers and the prosecutors have to go through for his indiscipline. He just need to shut his piehole and to listen to legal advice provided (I heard the are very competent lawyers vs the "cupcake" he had before).
