Gambling is created to be addictive. Everything about casinos is to keep you there losing your money. They give “free” gifts and bonus points and food and drinks and rooms because they know it will get you to go in and keep you there. @@adambrooks6580 it’s about moderation and accountability. It isn’t a justification to partake in things like Alcohol or Gambling extremely often, but for those that are being held accountable while they partake it is fine. I would say steer clear if your family deals with generational curses or if you yourself feel a strong inward pull to go gamble, drink, ect. But to say it’s a sin no matter what for everyone is not right either.
I wonder this though: gambling is placing money on a particular event to win money but what about like when you sign up for a rec league pay your fee and the winner of the tournament gets like $500
💰💲💸💶💵As a Pastor and a mental health therapist I can personally say it is addictive and wrong. BTW I pastor a small church of about 50 and a SS teacher hit $1.4M and wanted to tithe and we rejected the gift and also removed them from teaching children. Our teachers agree not to participate in certain activities and this was one of them. Side note: that person has spent all the winnings and is worse off now than before and he blames everyone else. If the church had accepted the money, he would've blamed us and wanted money back. I'm not saying everyone has to handle it this way, but God was looking out for us and His interests!😊
I don't Think Forex or Stocks are gambling because there's A trading strategy called Supply & Demand which the Money makers trade, that's basically trading with "The House". With Gambling you can't bet with "The House".
They make it seem it’s not a big deal . It’s very sinful. You make it into idolatry. I guarantee if you did research into the origins it comes from paganism. The theme of luck and list of money is a recipe for a spirt of addiction and stronghold to enter the being. It’s evil addiction
Although the Bible doesn’t discuss gambling in detail, we can discern from Bible principles that God views gambling as a sin. Gambling is driven by greed, which God hates. (1Corinthians 6:9,10; Ephesians 5:3,5) Gambling can arouse a destructive love of money. (1Timothy 6:9,10) Gambling can arouse an unhealthy competitive spirit, which God disapproves of. (Galatians 5:26)
Ecclesiastes 5:10 HCSB [10] The one who loves money is never satisfied with money, and whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with income. This too is futile. Proverbs 13:11 HCSB [11] Wealth obtained by fraud will dwindle, but whoever earns it through labor will multiply it. The money that is won from gambling is from someones lose. I just blv is sin bcoc doesn't lead anyone to righteousness
I hate gambling from the begging of my life,I never play it then at that time, because I always said within myself that, anybody that's playing gambling is gonna loose purpose and focus,so because of this reason I hate it,but in the year 2023,I get myself into it all because of conditions or life challenges, there's an adage that says, conditions makes cray-fish to bent down,I now understand that indeed it is the exact truth, Even now I'm still betting, hoping everything is gonna be okay for me,once I see any good opportunity I'm gonna say byebye to it, Tamara ebra bo mo,Jesus help me😂😂😂😂😂
I have a question. If someone gets a brand deal to promote gambling and they are Christian, is that a sin? What if I use the money gained to bless Christian ministries.
One thing you didnt bring out is that gambling (giving your money too ) supports other sins ..Most casinos ..the more expensive ones hire prostitutes and other sinful acts for special clients ...They are run by sinful people and the whole object is to take your money ..Period ..Gambling is a way of making fast money instead of depending on Jesus to provide for you ..Gambling is sinful if a christian is involved ...no doubt about it
Dont compare a business with high risk to gambling. its different . Investing and Taking risk on any business is normal but making prophecy which God has not spoken and yet laying our property down to confirm what we have predicted is wrong.
@@ayenretisamuel8982 well I gambled in the stock market and lost 6 figures. Word it any way you choose… it was a gamble. Surprised that none of these pastors brought up the concept of a 'just' (righteous) economic transaction. Money or whatever is being gambled with, represents tangible resources. In the act of gambling, is it a righteous, or unrighteous transaction - what was exchanged or traded? If done for pure entertainment value, I'll submit that one or more of the players essentially purchased their entertainment. But if the object is to get gain, then what is being justly traded in the transaction? I'll suggest the gambling is a scheme to make an un-just transaction - a _taking_ of value - in exchange for zero value-added. In other words, it is a net drain on the economy thru un-just transactions, and that is the 'sin' - being off-target from God's principles for healthy economic behavior which builds & adds _new_ value in the economy.
I convinced myself it was ok to play poker … I found myself lying to my wife about my whereabouts and find myself feeling terrible after losing some money . Overall I am near even but it took my focus away from other parts of life . Long story short the cost is more than the $200 buy in … it’s the hidden cost
Great point but what if you play poker and dont lie to your wife? What if you play poker and win 80% of the time? What if you dont go broke or use much money from your primary job to play poker? What if you tith with your winning faithfully? Would this still consider to be a sin? What if you dont really get mad when u lose a hand and others win, you just enjoy the game and if u win great if u dont oh well had fun type of mentality...what if God is still first in your life?

Gambling is a big sin that can ruin your life for real I know and seen people run their life’s down in the drain, you as a man of God should advice people to stay away from harmful acts so they can serve God better, it’s sick that you find appealing and not evil at all one company makes all the money most people lose their ass just on the picks, we spend 95 billion a year on just lottery alone without casinos sport betting etc… people are buying ink paper and alcohol with their hard earned money and just giving it up for a small dopamine rush throwing our kids futures away our dignity is lower than ever we can’t stop any corruption or prevent it because most people are drunk and broke 😢😢
God doesn't want people who are looking for a easy ride, if we are to serve Jesus in Heaven, we have to be willing to put in the work, and the grind and the struggle, also this is Satan's realm, and why should we care about riches and fortune in Satan's world, when we can have eternity in Heaven? It is total nonsense to think that God would tell you to go play the lottery which is driven by the spirit of Satan? God has nothing to do with it, if you do win it is far more likely that it was Satan's doing because he know great fortunes, lead to greater responsibilities, and far easier path for Satan to win your eternal soul. I cannot even believe the takes on this subject. This right will prove my point: What did Jesus tell the rich man when he asked how to get in Heaven? Give ALL your money & possessions to the poor, no one who wins the lottery would ever have the courage to do that. Also what else did he say "that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into Heaven. I really cannot believe the denseness of the stance on the subject, either you are in on the Gospel of Jesus or your not, can't be half way, period.

What if I gamble a dew times a month but still donate $100.00 a week or more. It is one of the only very few things I do that I do for fun or entertainment. Yes we wast money on lobster or stake dinner BUT why should a sports person get paid millions to have fun . I worked hard most of my life was in the army when I turned 17 than work at the psychiatric hospital than became a New York-based Correctional officer. BUT I try to give good tidings more lately than before. I have as many do leave the casino with less than I came in with. How is it much different that the one who was born into wealth. And gives nothing to God. Yes they may donate to help kids or other foundries. Look at the Clintons millions to wast on campaigning for Presidential elections. Or Opra with billions. Look at Bill Gates he got very lucky it was a gamble I've never heard of him helping ( donating ) to anything not that I can recall. I've always said if I won big I would spread my wealth with the Lord . I'm now medically retired at 55. I want to preach advocate for the injured at work open a church . but have no true background knowledge. Other than my own life experiences. I've worked all my life even as a child. How can I start to spread the word of God.
All the people you mentioned have donated an abundance of money. Bill Gates specifically gives scholarships to minorities. Oprah set up schools. The list goes on. We must do right (steward) by what we're given. I'm learning this myself.
I don't think gambling is a sin. It's a form of investment the same as forex, you can loose your money just the same way in crypto or trying to setup a farm and your animals die from famine or some kind of decease. The bad thing from the casinos and lotteries is there's lot deception behind. So if a poor person buys a lottery ticket and wins that changes his life is it not prayers answered? If put 1$ and you get 1million $ is it not good returns from investment. Like Solomon says send commodities abroad with ships and wait for profits you will be rich is it wrong to be rich? No. Was Abraham wrong to be a richest man of his time, no Isaac, Jacob or Lazarus, No. If I get my riches from stealing or killing that's what I think is wrong. But for gambling it's where you will surely come to understand a fool or a wise man.
It puts you in ungodly places..it takes you away from your family..it's a means of escape..a very strong addiction. The best thing is to stay totally away!

Exactly..gambling can be so destructive and people commit suicide over gambling debts..even if we don't have an addiction ourselves it still does not set a good example to others who might see you gambling and want to have a go themselves..they could become addicted and end up with all kinds of problems..i have been convicted by the Spirit about gambling so I quit today..as Christians we shouldn't be doing it..we are to set a good example for others and stay away from things that can potentially cause harm
@@adambrooks6580 you can say the same thing about alcohol.. it's all about a man's heart, even trading forex and stocks, it's all about a man's heart.

How ?
It’s recommended the maximum you should ever bet is 3% of your monthly income,
Set limits, be smart, don’t chase your looses,
I wonder this though: gambling is placing money on a particular event to win money but what about like when you sign up for a rec league pay your fee and the winner of the tournament gets like $500
Please share this with all 5 pastors.......
Scripture reading on this please
Gambling is not a sin, the love for money is.
Many money making avenues are gambling such as the stock market, investing in Crypto currency, etc.
God is watching what you do with your money. Is better to give to charity or church, gamble with God not demons
I don't Think Forex or Stocks are gambling because there's A trading strategy called Supply & Demand which the Money makers trade, that's basically trading with "The House". With Gambling you can't bet with "The House".
it Doesn't have to be a sin but its so ungodly its not for Christians. It leads to many sins
Well I think that it's not a sin. What's sin is the addiction.
Is going to a party a sin, hasn't going to parties led many people to sins?
I want to know if crypto or forest trading can be said to be gambling
They make it seem it’s not a big deal . It’s very sinful. You make it into idolatry. I guarantee if you did research into the origins it comes from paganism. The theme of luck and list of money is a recipe for a spirt of addiction and stronghold to enter the being. It’s evil addiction
I have been addicted to gambling and l wañt to breakout God help me
Is fund raising a sin ?
Can you put money you win in the church
Talk about protecting your sin....
Please quote the bible. Is gambling a sin?
Although the Bible doesn’t discuss gambling in detail, we can discern from Bible principles that God views gambling as a sin. Gambling is driven by greed, which God hates. (1Corinthians 6:9,10; Ephesians 5:3,5)
Gambling can arouse a destructive love of money. (1Timothy 6:9,10) Gambling can arouse an unhealthy competitive spirit, which God disapproves of. (Galatians 5:26)
Ecclesiastes 5:10 HCSB
[10] The one who loves money is never satisfied with money, and whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with income. This too is futile.
Proverbs 13:11 HCSB
[11] Wealth obtained by fraud will dwindle, but whoever earns it through labor will multiply it.
The money that is won from gambling is from someones lose. I just blv is sin bcoc doesn't lead anyone to righteousness
@@abulele2910 Same applies to Forex trading?
It’s a scam
so is the act a sin or the excessiveness a sin? Of course the question is not really answered.
It’s not a sin, but it leads to sin
@@emmanuelaafari9434 Well heck, EATING could lead to sin. 😶
isnt gluttony an addiction of food? So too much of ANYTHING is no good.
One thing you didnt bring out is that gambling (giving your money too ) supports other sins ..Most casinos ..the more expensive ones hire prostitutes and other sinful acts for special clients ...They are run by sinful people and the whole object is to take your money ..Period ..Gambling is a way of making fast money instead of depending on Jesus to provide for you ..Gambling is sinful if a christian is involved ...no doubt about it
I’m kinda finish 😭😭😭 lost my money on bet.
What about investing in the stock market or real estate? That’s a huge gamble
I don’t think of it as a sin tho… my family still eats well as they are my priority and responsibility. Win or lose minimum on a slot machine is only entertainment for me. (Seldom played)
I’m still heaven bound.
@@robertvaldez109I would sooner spend money on helping people than having fun at casino.
Gambling is when you get addicted to it & rely on your luck.
Great Dialogue!
Gambling has a evil under tone....
"would you receive the tithes" first guy says, the automatic yes for them was an automatic no for me. stopped watching the video there.
Good replies!

No sinners will inherit the kingdom of God either, but aren't we sinners?
Getting drunk is the sin. Not drinking. Jesus never would have turned water into wine if it was a sin.

I think we need to first talk about what is not sin I am sure that would be easier.... Less to talk about once we know what is not sin we will know what is sin..
Is donating to political selections gambling? Because you are dealing with luck. You can never be 100% sure of the outcome? and if your candidate lose. You lose money.
Money is the route of all evil, bit God has given us the authority to step on serpants and scorpions 🦂 so money shouldn't be controlling your decisions.
when the servants took the talents of their master and doubled their increase in the parable of Jesus a gambling subject?

I don't know if Jesus or heaven is real. Wouldn't following christianity on faith alone be a type of gamble ?
No. Jesus died for your sins and to give you new and eternal life. That’s not a bet, that’s a guarantee!

Good example of corrupt pastors.
To the 5 pastor's.... the question was never answered.....is Gambling a sin....are there gray areas in the bible??? or middle grounds??? Is Gambling a sin??? The book of Proverbs says it best.... good or evil....wise or fool... wisdom or folly .... sorry no gray or middle grounds.... because it seems harmless... think about it... Jesus our Lord and Savior...see what they did to him....spit... called him names... crown of thrones...spear in the side... casting lots....all these were mockery of his death.... casting lots is Gambling... lots is chance to win... think about it....why cast lots... mockery..... all Gambling falls under the sin of Witchcraft and Idolatry....if someone doing it for fun....or for sport... some do it for a living.... either way.... Gambling is sin .... there believers and non believers.... Gambling....it causes all sorts problems... even murder..... looks what it's doing to sports world.... and our youth.... commercials are everywhere.... social media flooded...on and on... families destroyed.... since there's no gray areas or middle grounds....the question remain Is Gambling a sin.... you best believe it is.... don't let the devil fool you.... witchcraft and idolatry....to the 5 pastor's you were laughing and making fun...its not funny....or to be light of..... would you make light of Adultery or Fornication...or Murder.... people are dying every moment of everyday....I felt sad when saw you guys making light about Gambling...oh by way.... drinking wine and alcohol is a sin ....Prov.20:1..... I truly pray you look at Gambling from all sides...flip it... turn it... and you'll see...the Holy Spirit.... people who are not convicted... about Gambling they have grieved....the Holy Spirit...... I heard a non believer say to a believer... christians don't Gamble.... even they know....
Gambling as mentioned falls under the sin of witchcraft and Idolatry.... it opens the door... wide open for more witchcraft and Idolatry.... more sin..... Think about it for a moment....we are witnesses for Christ..... since many believers think there's nothing wrong with Gambling..... just say you are discipline Gambler....50 dollars my limit.... person next to you.... lost $10,000.00 dollars he/she says I lost my life savings.... I'm going to commit suicide.... how would you be a effective witness to that person.....???... you're Gambling just as they are......"You Would Look Like the Biggest Hypocrite"..... What Could You Possiblely Say?????
Why give the heathen an excuse to blaspheme the Gospel?? It’s worldly, period. and Christ said COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPARATE. Bottom line....(also, inventing your ‘own’ make-believe god in your mind who is fine with idols and fine with sin is a violation of the 1st and 2nd commandments. Just FYI)

Gambling is a sin according to the Bible
It leads to sin. A wise man won't gamble
What about trading?
Many pastors bought with money these days. Lord have mercy.
If you blow all your money Can't pay your rent Cut paper your car and insurance . Of course that is a sin. Once every six months I pay a dollar Phot Lottery I don't care about riches I only want a win so we can get a house Am I kids can enjoy a backyard They are still in school.

What if I gamble a dew times a month but still donate $100.00 a week or more. It is one of the only very few things I do that I do for fun or entertainment. Yes we wast money on lobster or stake dinner
BUT why should a sports person get paid millions to have fun .
Repent guys, seek wisdom and stop asking questions that are useless.
