I suggest using the later 15th century stuff. Empire is more Landsknecht in feel so even the early 16th century would work but 1450-1500 is the closest Perry has for historical to meet it. :) thanks for watching!
I’m waiting to make these but use them all as English knights to get some cloth in that army I’m sore some did have it still at that time would this be okay for the time period or would it be very very off for the time
While I’ve read it’s the norm for English knights to start wearing armor without the cloth in this era , it wasn’t totally dropped. It would be appropriate !
I think war of the roses is a little later in the 15th century, so you'd want to use the Perry box sets that cover 1450-1500. Agincourt foot knights are more so earlier 15th century.
These are good figures to bunk out a force of maa, but found the foot knights rather a pain to construct where you have to glue two arms in place holding a weapon. I went back to using the metal figures!
Sadly shipping right now is a tad high for a few metals out of Perry so getting the local foot knights was the better deal. I’ll have to be careful when assembling :) Thanks for watching and the comment
@@johnp4000 YEp, that's correct. However to get just two sprues of horses requires me to pay more shipping than the actual worth of the horses - so in my part of the world unless I do a very large order with Perry, its not worth it. I may hold on to that extra knight sprue until the future if I order more, or just pawn it off if I dont use it ;)
Was recently thinking about using perry miniatures to make a cities of Sigmar/Empire army, this video has good timing as always.

question: can we use this minis in he period of War of the roses???

@@carthagemustbedestroyed I think if you can buy an additional horse sprue, you can get 18 mounted figures from the other set? Very good value

Very nice video.
Belated Birthday!🥳
They are _English_ not British!
They wear plate (not "platemail" and certainly not "chainmail". )
Haha thank you. 😂 I’ll keep using those wrong terms I’m sure. Thanks for the clarification though.
Cato the elder ?
He’s certainly not young. Lol
