Excellent, I love LAB and will play with it in Affinity. Thank you for this video!
This is powerful. I can't wait to try the LAB adjustments.
Very interesting. I'll have to come back and watch again though when I have an image that I can apply this to. Thank you James.
Such a cool option! Really making it easier for me to cut the a cord......
Beautiful explanation thank you
My only complain is that there is so much to experiment to get easily great results that I think that it going to take me so much time :-))) Thank you!
Great explanation of LAB colour space, thank you!
Does this LAB mode uses internally the JzAzBz / JzCzhz colour space (2017) or the old CIE LAB (1976). JzAzBz can handle HDR image, which LAB can't.
Thank you, James. Very good information here. And loving V2.
I congratulate you for the new tutorials where the image of the person who is explaining does not appear, since this image distracts and covers part of the program's interface. Congratulations!
Wouldnt this depend on the monitor you re using or things are viewd on?
brilliant!!!
👍👍👍Thanks!
Hi , how install a linear profile for my Sony a7r4 in affinity please ?
I thought that the lighthouse at 7:20 looked familiar. Turns out 2 days ago Mads Peter Iversen made a video there.
South Stack Lighthouse? We went to North Wales on holiday so made our way across there, I managed to get some great shots during sunset. You might be seeing it on at least another video at some point!
@@JamesRitson Yeah that is the one. That foreground fence is unmistakable.
In the new V2 iPad version of Affinity Photo, there are no lightness, no a opponent, and no b opponent options in either curves under Lab mode, nor in levels. In the old version, there used to be such options. I don’t understand why those options were removed, and I used them, particularly in curves quite a lot. Just one of several things in V2 for iPad that I am not happy with.
