@@OrlandoSoto1111 on paper it's stacked at WR and TE, yes. RB is ok, not great. Oline is dookie. Rome and Caleb haven't taken a single snap in the nfl, so we'll see. Your dline and pass rush is bad to average. Your defense played a lot of rookie and backup qbs last year.

Lovin this show KJ.. great episode, I believe Rome can definitely be one of the best receivers in the NFL. Does he compare to the Minnesota receiver or some of the Ohio State guys? Perhaps he’s similar to Lynn Swan and Michael Irvin, he’s graceful, he’s smooth, he runs good routes, he’s got the strength to win most jump balls, and he’s got the speed to get away from guys like Adams, so he’s a combination of different receivers really but that means he’s his own category, people will be comparing themselves to him in a few years.
Mike Evans is my comparison, but is a more intelligent route seemed tight hand receiver.

Everyone is saying it was an obvious pick for the bears but it wasn’t!! They really needed a pass rusher and could have traded down, got their rusher and gotten a 2nd or 3rd round pick. They only had 4 picks in the draft. Or they could have traded up for odunze and wasted draft picks that they didn’t have to since he fell to them. Bears did a great job being patient AND taking the guy instead of passing on him. You think its obvious to take him? Tell that to the Giants and Falcons
Saw an interview with Ryan Poles he said when Odunze fell to 9 taking him was a no brainer!
You are right about them being patient tho, poles said one of his guys had to keep him from moving up for Rome.
@@bigtuna9529 yes. Glad odunze was the guy they wanted. There was speculation they would take someone on defense. Especially after trading for keenan allen. They wanted a tall WR for a while. Thats why they traded for claypool. He wasn’t the guy but they never found anyone to replace him until now. Now they can run the offense the way it was supposed to be. They just need one more TE. Would love to see Mercedes Lewis come back for 1 year then draft a TE in 2025 late rounds

He had a legendary 99% NBA vertical too. CJ was arguably the most gifted athlete to have ever played the position…but that doesn’t make him the greatest.

Marvin Harrison Jr will be no. 1 receiver, get the big yards . Odunze may be no.3 in that offense. Totally different scenario.

But Odunze will have big games, and big plays depending how much teams are focused on stopping DJ Moore and Keenan Allen.. Odunze would be lining up against CB3 on most teams which usually is not a great defender. I’m confident he will win his 1v1s as the others get doubled.. Only 1 receiver can get doubled, which in the Bears case both DJ and Keenan can beat a double. Don’t forget their TE Kmet. Odunze will he getting open a lot…. Bears are about to be a PROBLEM.

I love the hype, but the Bears as an organization have to put it together... coordinator, qb, ol, etc etc. The games aren't played on paper. We've had Marshall plus Jeffery and a qb and a rb... etc and it didn't automatically lead to points etc.
this time will be different.. it has to be... MY Bears are long overdue for greatness... this year, Mahomes might have just won his LAST Super Bowl...

Their O Line, wasn’t actually bad last year, it’s just JF held the ball too long. Caleb won’t have those issues
The bears have a LG and RT that are both pro bowlers. LT and RG are mid but not terrible. Center has been an issue but they picked up two this off season so we’ll see how that goes. Not done yet, but can def be a wild card team this season.
I’m not saying it’s perfect, but if they pick up a center, one pro o lineman and one pro d lineman next season, the NFC north better watch out.
I think they ranked #11 in either pass pro or total o-line last year. I was as shocked as anyone to read that on PFF
