Chuck E. Cheese's full name is: “Charles Entertainment Cheese.” Also, I read a quote from Nolan Bushnell regarding Chick E. Cheese. “I may have founded Atari, but the rat made me rich.
Chuck E. Cheese's was a treat for us in the '80s. The Chesterfield, VA location, conveniently located near a Toys R' Us, seemed massive. From what I recall, there was a dining area overlooking the play area, with rows of arcade machines. Later, it relocated to a much larger building (as did the Toys R' Us) a few miles down Midlothian Turnpike. By the 2000s, though, with kids of my own, Chuck E. Cheese's was quite a bit less exciting. Bland pizza, expensive games and rides, and overall, just a noisy and grimy experience. At least they served beer and inspired the Tim Wilson song "Chuck E. Cheese Hell".
I enjoy your voice and cadence. I also like that your not just doing the same game info channel everu body else does. your info feels diferent and in that the info you provide is new to me. Good job. Hope your channel grows exponentially. You are the lowest subscriber count channel ive evr subscribed to. I look forward to your evolution as an artist. I also have made maybe 5 comments ever on youtube. you deserve Some recognition.
Would someone please tell me what is so hard about clicking on the “Thumbs-Up” icon if you enjoyed the vid? At the time of my typing this comment, there have been 200 views since the vid went live and a paltry 21 “Thumbs-Up” clicks. This guy is just getting his feet wet on YT, and he does a wonderful job at bringing video game trivia to us.
I love that you said this instead of me for a change, yet I am dismayed that this is the case after well over a decade on here. I feel like it's certainly much less often people even click like now, than before. I think people just don't care about others. I hope I'm just overly negative at this stage in my life and it's just out of sight out of mind/ignorance.. yet... Almost every video asks it's viewer to please click like and or subscribe, yet 80 percent don't bother. Stuff like this is especially concerning, cause the viewers are likely not children but people in their 30's and 40's and STILL... we they don't bother to click anything. They will take the time to tell you to go "extinct yourself" in a fire , or something involving being a cuck though.
Another thing that Ray Kasar said to David Crane is that you are no more important than the guy who packs the games in the boxes. David promised his developers to give them where credit was due. Activision put out some good-quality games. Who can forget Pitfall! Every rendition of the game was actually good, except for that CRAP-TASTIC Super Pitfall! for the NES. Another favorite Activision game for the 2600 is Kaboom! That game is best played on the original hardware because not only is the game compatible with the Paddle controllers, but that is the ONLY way to play.
If video games being seen as a drag on the toy in the 1980s doesn't make sense, consider how new the tech was, the crash of 1983, and that boomers were told all their lives that television would rot their brains, so that's what they insisted would happen with us as a way of carrying along a tradition of rudeness to those who appreciate new technology. Today geezers are saying it's social media (when the same problem is in the mirror -- think about it -- the social media page didn't jump out at you, you went to it, and you can choose not to go to it just as easily).
Too bad the Power Glove was such a joke. I wanted one because I thought it would be cool to play with. It had nothing to do with that Wizard movie. The Wonder Years was for wussies so I never watched that movie either. Instead I got a U-Force for Christmas. It was terrible. I took it back and got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Arcade Game which just released. Not surprised to see the Power Glove got its design from RoboCop. So typical 80’s.
Can I just tell you how awesome it is that I have someone hate watch my videos? It's genuinely wild to me! Like...life is so short, and you hate my videos so much that you...watch and comment on them? This is wild stuff!
Wait...wait wait wait...you don't watch my videos. Instead, you skim over it, make sure that you get the gist, decide that it's a bad video...and then leave a comment...and you are acting as if that is BETTER? Sir. Find a hobby. I'm begging you.
@ARival sigh. I know, I know. You’re totally right. I’m just blown away that someone hate-watches a video! Who does that? Of course, you’re still right. And thank you for watching!!

This might be the nicest comment I've ever gotten. Thanks so much!!!
Yeah he clearly puts a lot of work into his videos. Glad to see that recognized. Congrats on being a decent human being 🫂
Prototype Mario was Jumpman in Donkey Kong
Mario didn't receive his name until his appearance as the bad guy, the only time ever, in DK Jr.

It's not hard. It would be dishonest, though.
Mind your own business, how about it ? Nobody cares about your patronizing.

Another thing Sonic has in common with Al Gore: Both their wives hate John Denver.
Nintendo didn't make the or design the Power Glove Mattel did 😢

And now Activision is a XBOX first party brand.
