Don't know if you're still having the issue with adding markers with the hotkey but using the M key to add a marker only works when you have a highlighted region and it will add the marker at the start of the region, it will not work when double clicking. Hope that helps.
It does help! I actually ran across that after making the video... I get why they do it that way, but as a software developer i would have also made it work the way i was trying to do, seems intuitive that way... but whatever it is what it is. Appreciate the assist! 🙏👍🏻✌️

When you use autoslicing and you get those tiny samples you can flip those into percussions using the ADSR and filter.

Really nice vidIf you still need help with the "New marker at the start problem". If you select a area instead of just double tapping the marker will appear in the start of the area 😀

Great tutorial bro. I was wondering... i chopped using sliceX... but when i hit play my beat played along with the sliceX interface lol... So i do i get that to stop playing along with the beat

@@slxbeats8146 lol... I'm sure something is turned on that's need to be switched off. I mainly use Serato Sample...but it's cool to use stock plugins
Hey M-Chop - Honestly, that could be any number of things, but it actually sounds like what it's doing is what it's supposed to do. If not, I would suggest going to reddit and hitting the subs makinghiphop or fl_studio and posting your situation there - lots of helpful people. 👍
what can i do if the markers wont load itself from the beginning
Watch these video parts: slicing options / adding markers. Best I can offer since that question you asked can have a lot of different answers depending on your situation. Good luck.

what drum kit do you using bro?
Looks like a kick from nomadikh mpc drums pack, and some samples i pulled from the drum weapons 3 vst. Drum weapons are my fav bap drum sounds... Dw3 and dw4
why are both our slicex is missing the "Keyboard Input" button; this is to enable the shortcuts for slicex like pressing m, and other functions. If anybody has the answer to the issue please help. its present in other fl studio users

Maybe this will help or maybe not the same issue... But figured I'd pass this along in case it helps.
@@tbrizOfficial there is supposed to be a button saying '' KB input '' that enables the shortcut. If that button is off; you cannot use any shortcuts inside slicex. Ive been searching all day but still no answers. You can look it up '' Slicex keyboard shortcut not working ''.

i load samples and they arent autosliced for some reason
There's a few reasons that could happen. Sample volume isn't loud enough or is too loud leading to no distinguishable transients on the waveform... Or maybe autoslice option not checked... Could be other reasons too, hope you can figure it out
i'm a complete noob so idk if this is the solution to the problem but instead of just pressing "M" try "Alt + M" to add a new marker
