I flew American first class domestically on their 319 between Dfw and iah (last part of a 2 flight trip, won’t make sense if it was just for leisure) and we got to chose what we drank for our pre departure drink.l and this was like 2022 era so not sure but on the international flight (on the same segment) the pre departure was water orange juice and I believe champagne (pretty standard) and that was it for pre departure
That sounds cool. I think it probably depends on the size of the first class cabin as well. It's just hard for one first class fa to handle 30 separate pre departure orders in the span of about 15 minutes. So it might vary case by case. I appreciate your comment. I just released my final comparison between United and American first class, make sure to go check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/aSKR32csCDg/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared You have a great rest of your weekend!
Kind of! This is "domestic" first class, which is different than both business and first class on international flights. For long flights, first class will be on business class seats, like trans continental, but for short stops like this one, the first class is on a separate product. It's not lie flat, which is the main difference between normal international business and domestic first class. It's kind of complicated. Usually, international business class is better than domestic first class, which doesn't make sense in the naming, but that's just how the industry works. I hope this helps!
@@theavidaviator Makes sense but not worth the uppricing for domestic. The polaris long hauls are nice, comparable to AC's "Signature Suites" business seats and the new layout "pods" airlines are implementing

@@theavidaviator you too and I think that’s the case.
the map looks cool
It does. I wish all airlines had this technology!
First class on a narrow body is a contradiction in terminis
First class is just business class?

Yes. Same with JetBlue Mint service on longer flights. You just have to be strategic with your upgrades. Thanks for watching!
first class in America is a joke
First class should be for 5 hours or more
