Up until like 10 years ago, when tu-154s were flying every day, i was enjoying the sounds, living not far away from an airport, and almost under the approach path.

Like being in the deep south. At least the Russian equipment will work in mud and dust and basic maintenance but the rubbish we get from the yanks is all surgical grade 'perfection' where weapons and accessories would bankrupt us in just one strike. Worst is that almost nothing we have is suitable for defending this nation but is designed to fight US wars.

Thank you. Your helicopters remind me of Flying Tanks. They look TOUGH, sound TOUGH and they don't fall except for a really BIG reason. Even when the Tail goes offline- EDIT 1--- THEY AutoGyro down well. EDIT 2 -- at 5:48s there are two choppers - The Visual is TWIN blades. Are they twin, do they rotate Counter to the lower blade movement. What is the advantage - other than Redundant Systems! EDIT 3 - What is AirFrame # 20119. It has a wonderful whine/Hiss from the engines. TKS again! Cheers.

I think he checks to see if they dangle. When a technician touches the plane for good luck, he touches only the outermost pylon on the wing

The Chinese version of An-12 is named Y-8. This is the whole new Y-9, but with Antonov's Help.

ya which has been copied from american aircraft and tweaked a bit. They can't ever come up with there own shit, they always steal from everybody else. That's the down side, however, I do like there aircraft.

IL-86---KC-135. IL-96---Boeing 707. IL-62--- Vickers VC-10. AN-10 & the AN-12---C-130 Hercules. (AN-22,MIG-21,MIG-23,MIG-25,MIG-31 & the 3M have no comparison. M-4 and the VM-T are the same aircraft. only difference is that a radar dome was added and the tail section changed as to accommodate for the change. BE-12---Martin P5M-26. @@outlawflyer7868, my mistake. Only after a while I remembered about VC-10 and B727. I don't want to say that the russians didn't copy other people's planes, but sometimes they woke up the inspiration to create something of their own, but it's best reflected in the helicopters.

Thank you. Your helicopters remind me of Flying Tanks. They look TOUGH, sound TOUGH and they don't fall except for a really BIG reason. Even when the Tail goes offline- EDIT 1--- THEY AutoGyro down well.
EDIT 2 -- at 5:48s there are two choppers - The Visual is TWIN blades. Are they twin, do they rotate Counter to the lower blade movement. What is the advantage - other than Redundant Systems!
EDIT 3 - What is AirFrame # 20119. It has a wonderful whine/Hiss from the engines. TKS again! Cheers.
