Roman Kuznetsov you have to be very careful , it’s installed nicely . It was actually hard to get it to come out , we really had push on it and at the same time we’re afraid not to crack it .

There is a tool for installing the new lock strips and you can pry the lock tabs out without mangling them if you are gentle and use a little silicone spray lubricant. You just have to remember that the rubber is going to be stuck to everything it touches including the glass so run a plastic trim tool between the rubber and what you are trying to remove.

Nice job, however, I wish you would've mentioned the connections to the defroster on rear windshield. You could've saved those chrome joints, they're pricey. Thanks

So were the chrome locking pieces Reused ..? Where would you find replacements

Well, you might as well start shopping for a new rear window as you destroyed the defroster element by ripping off the connector pad on the passenger side. Your helper was careless. And, I would replace the gaskets. Finally, for others, the little locking strip covers can be removed without damaging them...not even sure they are still available.
