Y'know... in the beginning, I wasn't digging the sci-fi design for him and Gram, specially because I expected something more primal or magic... bit I kinda grew fond of it. :)
Interestingly enough, some people in the comments here said that this Gram that Sigurd is wielding is reforged from after his battle with Fafnir.
If that's true, that makes me question... is there a version of Sigurd from *before* he fought Fafnir? One who didn't have the high-tech gear, the "cristalization of wisdom" and who wielded the original Gram?
Kind of like a "Sigurd Lily", if you know what I mean. 😅
MrDibara i..... dont know if there is any other class that can fit sigurd other than saber (my lack of norse/germanic mythology knowledge didn't help either) but in the first sentence you talk about *gram* that he wield, that yes, sigurd's version is Gram 2.0, his father sigmund _has_ the original gram (or notung in german to _futher_ differenciate it from sigurd's),but it break during final battle before sigmund's death. sigurd _reforged_ it specifically to *kill* fafnir because all his previous sword didn't work against him.

Nam Nguyễn I heard Fafnir has two forms thanks to both of their myths.
The first is the one we know: the dragon form Siegfried killed and who Sieg turns into.
The second one... is apperantly and homage to the Blue Eyes White Dragon? :P I honestly just heard about this, so I can't confirm anything. But it'd be neat if Fafnir 1.0 was like that!
They are different versions of a legend.
You can consider them as two separate incarnations or aspects of the legend that originated the hero who killed a dragon named Fafnir. They are the same, but at the same time they are not, because legends and myths change with time, so the characters. It's even stated in Sigurd's profile that "it is unclear whether he is the same person as Siegfried."
To give another less ambiguous example, you have three versions of the hero Gilgamesh. The archer incarnation, which is before he met Enkidu. This Gil was a massive jerk. Then you have his young incarnation, who is a sweet kid. Then you have his caster incarnation, which is after Enkidu died. While still a little bit arrogant, he's way more nicer. The three are all the same, but you have diferents incarnations of the hero named Gilgamesh.
I don't know how it works in fate, but think of an Aspect in D&D, "Aspects sometimes appeared to even have a distinct personality or differing abilities from the original personality, though in fact, an aspect was merely another face of that creature." This is very evident with Siegfried a Sigurd, even more with Gilgamesh.

i find it weird since Sigurd here only eat heart of evil dragon and get guts skill while Siegfied didnt get any invincible skill that lore tell he bath evil dragon blood and took no dmg except his back.
Reist Susano'o there lore are different sure seigfried's lore is adapted from Sigurd the only thing similar is that they fought the dragon Fafnir aside they are the same person just different imaginings and story

@@imdone439 In Prototype, when she returned as an Alter by Manaka, she said she will kill the man she loves but instead it being Sigurd like in her legend, the name that is in her mind is Arthur so it's safe to say that she truly loves Arthur but not as much as she loves Sigurd.
