Though if sakurai added it in I'd take that over new dlc characters
I miss melee and brawls single player/adventure modes
Not sure if it will at launch, but may come in a huge update or DLC.
Then again... I was thinking that it would be cool to have both an "Adventure" mode and a separate "Story" mode. The adventure mode being more like the one from Melee while the story mode being more like Brawl's Subspace story (which will unlock after all characters are unlocked too).
It's Probably a bit of a stretch but an a cool concept if implemented.

No. In the reveal of this game Sakurai stated that your starting roster will only include the original 12 fighters. That means that there will be 53 unlockable fighters. I doubt that sakurai will have the same boring unlock methods. When you think of this it's very possible that we will see some sort of adventure or story mode.
Jonathan Jones - That's a good way of looking at it. After all, he did say himself that "the conditions for unlocking characters have been streamlined."

Well what I meant was in Smash Bros., Charizard mains (and Little Mac mains, too, I might add) often Side-B too far off the stage, which results them in falling to their own doom. Sometimes, this happens without their opponents attacking them, ever since those Charizards jumped off the respawn platform, hence "self-destruct."

Yes and as you unlock more, you’re motivated to unlock even more. It was a chore to unlock in Brawl. The hardest character to unlock in Smash History was probably Melee Mewtwo as you had to play 20 hours worth of Vs Matches, less hours if you had more players.

Gamesforus the trailer clearly showed that they were including the original 12 instead of the eight. It said that the starting roster may be small as the original roster , which then included the unlockable 4 from 64

my most requested charecters
I just noticed that whenever Kirby gets a copy ability in the Kirby games he usually has more moves than the enemy itself(some enemies just use 1 attack while Kirby has more than one) but in the smash games its the opposite the enemy has more moves than what the "copy ability" gave Kirby from inhaling the opponent in the first place.
Ya would be cool to maybe get another one.
Imagine being able to use neutral-b and side-b from the enemy, that would be cool, but too much work to implement, especially now with +60 characters lol

Right, Sakurai and developers listen here. Make an online ranking system that pairs players with others with a similar rank and for every game they win or lose they gain or lose points. Also, story mode is a must and bring smash run as well as an online mode with multiple maps

As a Kirby main, this is my favorite by far.
They even made the green Kirby look a bit better! The yellow-orange is still eh, but the green is so vibrant and happy.

He openly mentioned the people asking for Goku and Spongebob as examples of ridiculous requests in an interview with Sugita and then mentioned that the Mii Fighters were made for the people that kept asking for those characters. Here's the part of the interview for those who don't feel like looking further:

They added icons for Villager's pocketed items, Limit meter and ink meter, but they didn't add icons for Kirby's copied abilities. I don't play Smash myself, but I bet it would be difficult to see what character's ability Kirby got during all that chaos.
