They opened for my band at Bachanals on South Street in Philly. We were like grunge...they were this stuff. I love this kind of music and asked the lead singer (I think it's a one man band...hence the name?) anyway, I asked the lead singer if he was into Numan and he was thrilled that I picked that up. He was a huge numan fan (me too) particulary Replicas...you can hear that synth sound.
