The Q45 are far superior in sound for movies... BUT they are bulky. When I'm watching movies with the Q20 I lay on my couch and sometimes fall asleep. That's why I prefer the slimmer design of the Q20.

Just found your channel. Five seconds in I was subscribed. You just radiate kindness my guy. I've got four pairs of soundcore headphones and earbuds and I'm going to have another once I get the Q45s to upgrade from my Q30s. Those Q30s with their ANC were an absolute lifesaver travelling on an airplane and being in an airport. The amount of white noise and airplane noise the ANC took out honestly blew me away and was far more than I was expecting. I'd say it cut out 90% of airplane white noise and I was able to turn a podcast on to about 20% volume and comfortably sleep. As someone with tinnitus, having headphones that actually block out noise so I can listen quietly is extremely important. I've been recommending this brand to everyone. People get pissed when they hear your Q30s compared to their $350 beats and the $80 headphones sound infinitely better.
When you were on the plane did you connect an aux lead from your entertainment system to your headphones? If so did the anc automatically switch off. I found that on my Q20 and need to upgrade asap. Wasn't sure if soundcore had this on all of their headphones.
Hey! Can I ask if the sound leaks out? Like for example if the people surrounding you are able to hear your music? Feel like that's a very important detail that many people miss haha
@@sototheshi hmmm never thought I test that to be honest. Not only I use it for work purposes, I also use it for movies and gaming so is either my wife is a heavy sleeper lol or there aren't much of a sound leaks.
I’m usually a sucker for the best options, but I actually feel secure in getting one of the middle options. I’ve previously been exclusively a Skullcandy buyer, but this afternoon my Crushers wireless broke(the plastic hinge snapped as I took them off). So my options were 3d printing a new piece for functionality(out of the question), glue it, or look into new headphones. I am gearing towards the 30s and 35s. Thanks a lot for this. I’ll do a bit more research, but I think I’m sold.
@@badman5356 I got both of them. The Q30 are way way better if you tune them right. Q35 trade fidelity for Q30 pure sound. Q35 are way way too artificial, the bass and treble too clear that instead of the song mixed into one melody, it becomes a clash and chaos. Just grab Q30. Q35 is shit, and when you connect it to PC, it even become more shitter.
Bought the Q20+ as my first EVER ANC headphones and I loved them. They were NOT over ear for me, but ON ear because I have gigantic ears. I bought some Ankbit Sony knockoffs for work and got into the over life. Those broke, so I bought the Q45s to replace. Love them so much, I bought another pair to replace the Q20+ at home and they'll become backups.

I am still rocking the Q20s since I saw them the first time here on the channel. Great headphones for the price paid. Today I replaced the pads because after 2 years the original ones broke. Other than that just great. In the meantime I got a pair of Life P3 and a Motion Boom speaker. Soundcore just offers the best bang for the buck right now.

I have some (comparatively) ancient Philips headphones. They were truly a revelation and to this day, they're the only headphones to have squeezed a tear out of my dried husk of a soul! The Q20s have a fraction of the capabilities but they are honestly more fun and take the record for being the only headphones to have messed with my equilibrium! I don't particularly love the look, but if the Q45s are even better, I look forward to getting more Soundcore!
I'm stil rocking the Q30's, and they work perfectly, sound great, fit well, and haven't broken down yet. lol. I'm going to just rock out with these until that day arrives because it's pointless to buy headphones when you already have perfectly good working pair :) I'm the kind of guy who doesn't buy the newest version until his older version breaks down completely lol
i love them a lot but the plastic connector between headband and the slider just cracks after a while even though i placed them inside the case most of the time when not in use. Really wish they had use metal instead.

@@activegrass9435 Hi, I got mine Q20+ two weeks ago. I love them so far. The Hybrid ANC is good, I have a fan in my home office which is also next to a busy road and it works to block those. The connector is platic but has two screws on it and seems more durable. The mic is great for calls and the multidevice connection works for two devices, I use it for my PC and Phone while working. Had to get a cheap case separately because the Q20+ doesn't come with that one The EQ is similar to the Q30

I’m trying to decide between the q30s and 35s. I was initially settled on the q30s but after finding the Reddit thread complaining about durability, I’m a little hesitant. Have you faced the same issue? And considering I don’t own any version of the headset, should I just get the q35s? Where I live, i won’t be able to get a swap or warranty if they do crack and I’d rather spend the (painfully) extra money for something more durable
@@leaticiabalson5230 Quality on both models is the same. However I had my Q30's for a little over a year now and still No sign of Any issue. I do use the case everyday 🙂 I would suggest get that model you can find cheapest 😉
@@Soraviel SBC really sucks but non-LDAC typically have AAC which are worse than LDAC but close to it while using less battery and having a more stable connection.

Just the video I needed to see to make the call on which one to get. What sold me was the close up comparing the Q35 and Q45 just after the 5:00 minute mark. I ended up deciding to get the Q35, because I work in a noisy factory for 10+ hours a day. Still though, I do not want to pay for them, but at least knowing the comfort appears to be there should be good on my end. Huge thank you from me to you. Edit: Watched the rest and when comparing the noise cancelling I decided to go Q45. I need as much noise cancelling as I can get.
@@Papi69 Well, i was finally able to use it at my place of work and it worked really well. I work next to heavy machinery all day, and if you know what a "roadability machine" is, then you know. If not, then I can only describe it as noisy as a semi going down the road and you are next to it with your windows down in your car going about 70 mph or so. With the Q45 on I could just barely hear the noise and the music came through just fine. I highly recommend it if you are in a noisy area. Plus the comfort was good, and I wore it for 10+ hours without taking them off, unless I wanted to hear what someone had to say to me. Comfort was good, noise cancelling was excellent, and music quality was good too. For the money, I would recommend them as hands down the best option out there.
Actually, they have removed the touch feature for a reason. Both of my q35 started having clicking noise in NC mode after arnd 6 months of use and I am pretty sure it is touch sensor to blame.
I am pretty sure sound core listened to me (and many others with the same opinion). I am on my 2nd Q30 headset. They are awesome in everything except for durability long term. The earpads have become more shallow and the plastic on the metal band has broken. I have contacted the support team a long while ago asking if there was a way for them to make a new more durable headset and they seem to have delivered! I have been on soundcore for 2 years
Damn bro what are you doing with your q30s? I've had mine since they released and still on my first ones and their durability has never been a question for me.
I'm thinking on buying the Q45 due to the ear cups seem deeper than the other ones, sometimes my ears touch the end of the headphones and start to hurt after a while when using headphone with shallow ear cups

Q30s seem like very good bang for buck since they're usually under 80€. The "save in headphones" eq option is probably best ive seen. Only downside is the build quality, i cracked mine from the "slider" that adjusts the size of the headphones with in a year.
Thank you!! one other thing too.. The Q20 and Q20+ are the best bang for buck for sound and ANC for damn sure.. BUT they are delicate.. If you know that before you buy, they aint great workout headphones cause of that. The Q45's are built like a TANK.. the Q35 is better than the Q20/+ but not great. Sound is amazing.. Id say just get the Q20+ if you're gonna use inside, Q45 if you're gonna work out in them and be rough. Q35 if you want the best of both at a lower price.. but you sacrifice SOME durability. The Q35 and Q45 do WIRELESS HiRes Audio.. The Q20 and Q35 will.. but only in wired mode =(

@@NewStuffTV1 I bought an equalizer app called poweramp equalizer, I set up the bass at 20% and treble at 20%. The soundcore Q10 sounds better if you use that eq app. It is better than the bass up button

My issue is with the sound volume, my Q20's & Q30's are lacking when I want to play them loud! This review does not address this issue; can the Q35's & Q45's push the volume a bit harder?
This new design on the Q45 should last longer. I love the fit and sound of the Q30. They are prone to getting a crack in the headphone crown. Soundcore is really good about replacing during the 18 month warranty period.
@@Ivanpasc people had this issue as early as 6 months of usage and for me its after a year+, considering i have a pretty small head. The design flaw is inevitable at this point, just enjoy them while it last :/
Not ridiculous at all. Good question. I'm planning on playing digital piano as well with them. I know only Q35 and 45 have ANC when using the cable so my choice is between those two.
I had the Q10's.. they were awesome. I've now got the Q30s and Q35's. I find the Q35's outstanding, just slightly better sound than the Q30s but far more comfortable... find the earcups on the Q30's are far too soft and become uncomfortable easily. Q35 earcups are a little stiffer.. their perfect. These Q45's seem a bit of a downgrade on the Q35's
@@blueisthecolor3463 I own both the Q35 and the Q45. The Q35 has noticably more punchy bass. You can correct this with the eq-app if you a more a balanced sound type of guy. But if you're a basshead then you will have a problem with the Q45. Because it's even with bass-up in the eq-app not as punchy as the Q35. Even the ANC is not soooo much better as advertised. So after all I would say too that the Q45 is a downgrade in terms of both sound and functions.
I have the Q20 and think the ANC is awesome. The q45s are on the way so I’m assuming I’m gonna be blown away. Also just got the crusher evos and I thought I wanted the bass over ANC and comfort but I was wrong. The soundcore feel more supreme. Especially the ear cups and that’s comparing the crushers to the q20s
Basically and simply the higher version is more expensive and got more features but are the sound quality of q 35 and 45 same as 30 and 20? I really can't decide wich one is good to buy if the sound of q20 is good enough as 35 why we should much more money for them.
The Q20 Plus will be perfect for you for a number of reasons: they are the cheapest, they have a charging type in this version of USB-C, they also support the official equalizer app and the last argument is that they sound almost the same, the difference is minimal, literally 10 percent of the difference in sound, you can also say that the 20 Plus has more bass
I really want the q45 but I have two concerns one is there is no passive listening it turns on the headphones and the other is I have the q20 and with anc on if I hit/bump the headband I will occasionally get a lot of static so with little padding on the q45 I'm worried I'll get a lot of static if it bump the headband
Did you get the Space 45? Because I too have the Life 30 but I'm not sure if it's worth to upgrade. The main reason I'm thinking of upgrading is the notice canceling improvement...did you notice a difference when it comes to NC?

You didn't mention one feature. Apparently the Q45 have dual connection, meaning you can pair with 2 different devices and only switch between them. Is that feature any good?

Just got the Q20s and they're amazing. I also have a pair of now broken AIAI studios. Both sound great. The Q20s are everything you need. Apart from a headphone amplifier! (I like music headache loud!).

Great comparison. I'm trying to decide if I want to "upgrade" to the Q45s from the Q35s. My Q35 active pause feature when I'm wearing them sometimes randomly turns on while they are on my ears. I can pass my Q35s down to my teenager 😁
My Q30s came with a guide on how to place your headphones in the case, it's a small tag on the side of the case, I don't know if yours have it or not but mine do. Try to look around on the right side of the case.

To this day, I still rocking the Q20+ for daily use (working home) plus, love the dual point Bluetooth access which is very handy

I've heard people saying the sound quality is not necessarily better. They look very premium though and more durable perhaps.

Just the video I needed to see to make the call on which one to get. What sold me was the close up comparing the Q35 and Q45 just after the 5:00 minute mark. I ended up deciding to get the Q35, because I work in a noisy factory for 10+ hours a day. Still though, I do not want to pay for them, but at least knowing the comfort appears to be there should be good on my end.

@@Papi69 Well, i was finally able to use it at my place of work and it worked really well. I work next to heavy machinery all day, and if you know what a "roadability machine" is, then you know. If not, then I can only describe it as noisy as a semi going down the road and you are next to it with your windows down in your car going about 70 mph or so.
With the Q45 on I could just barely hear the noise and the music came through just fine. I highly recommend it if you are in a noisy area. Plus the comfort was good, and I wore it for 10+ hours without taking them off, unless I wanted to hear what someone had to say to me. Comfort was good, noise cancelling was excellent, and music quality was good too.
For the money, I would recommend them as hands down the best option out there.

Actually, they have removed the touch feature for a reason. Both of my q35 started having clicking noise in NC mode after arnd 6 months of use and I am pretty sure it is touch sensor to blame.
I am pretty sure sound core listened to me (and many others with the same opinion).
I am on my 2nd Q30 headset. They are awesome in everything except for durability long term. The earpads have become more shallow and the plastic on the metal band has broken. I have contacted the support team a long while ago asking if there was a way for them to make a new more durable headset and they seem to have delivered!

I'm thinking on buying the Q45 due to the ear cups seem deeper than the other ones, sometimes my ears touch the end of the headphones and start to hurt after a while when using headphone with shallow ear cups

Good! Removing touch control is a good call. Wearing a hoodie causing the touch control to activate over and over is a real pain

Q30s seem like very good bang for buck since they're usually under 80€. The "save in headphones" eq option is probably best ive seen.
Only downside is the build quality, i cracked mine from the "slider" that adjusts the size of the headphones with in a year.

Thank you!! one other thing too.. The Q20 and Q20+ are the best bang for buck for sound and ANC for damn sure.. BUT they are delicate.. If you know that before you buy, they aint great workout headphones cause of that.
The Q45's are built like a TANK.. the Q35 is better than the Q20/+ but not great.
Sound is amazing.. Id say just get the Q20+ if you're gonna use inside, Q45 if you're gonna work out in them and be rough.
Q35 if you want the best of both at a lower price.. but you sacrifice SOME durability.
The Q35 and Q45 do WIRELESS HiRes Audio.. The Q20 and Q35 will.. but only in wired mode =(

@@NewStuffTV1 I bought an equalizer app called poweramp equalizer, I set up the bass at 20% and treble at 20%. The soundcore Q10 sounds better if you use that eq app. It is better than the bass up button

My issue is with the sound volume, my Q20's & Q30's are lacking when I want to play them loud! This review does not address this issue; can the Q35's & Q45's push the volume a bit harder?

This new design on the Q45 should last longer. I love the fit and sound of the Q30. They are prone to getting a crack in the headphone crown. Soundcore is really good about replacing during the 18 month warranty period.
I just got the Q30's do you have any type of advice in order to not make them wear down too quickly?
@@Ivanpasc people had this issue as early as 6 months of usage and for me its after a year+, considering i have a pretty small head. The design flaw is inevitable at this point, just enjoy them while it last :/

I had the Q10's.. they were awesome. I've now got the Q30s and Q35's. I find the Q35's outstanding, just slightly better sound than the Q30s but far more comfortable... find the earcups on the Q30's are far too soft and become uncomfortable easily. Q35 earcups are a little stiffer.. their perfect.
These Q45's seem a bit of a downgrade on the Q35's
How is it downgrade if it's sound quality is better than q35.
@@blueisthecolor3463 because they've taken away loads of features. Sound quality is the same.. they've just added better noise cancellation
@@blueisthecolor3463 I own both the Q35 and the Q45. The Q35 has noticably more punchy bass. You can correct this with the eq-app if you a more a balanced sound type of guy. But if you're a basshead then you will have a problem with the Q45. Because it's even with bass-up in the eq-app not as punchy as the Q35. Even the ANC is not soooo much better as advertised. So after all I would say too that the Q45 is a downgrade in terms of both sound and functions.

I have the Q20 and think the ANC is awesome. The q45s are on the way so I’m assuming I’m gonna be blown away. Also just got the crusher evos and I thought I wanted the bass over ANC and comfort but I was wrong. The soundcore feel more supreme. Especially the ear cups and that’s comparing the crushers to the q20s

Basically and simply the higher version is more expensive and got more features but are the sound quality of q 35 and 45 same as 30 and 20? I really can't decide wich one is good to buy if the sound of q20 is good enough as 35 why we should much more money for them.
The Q20 Plus will be perfect for you for a number of reasons: they are the cheapest, they have a charging type in this version of USB-C, they also support the official equalizer app and the last argument is that they sound almost the same, the difference is minimal, literally 10 percent of the difference in sound, you can also say that the 20 Plus has more bass

I really want the q45 but I have two concerns one is there is no passive listening it turns on the headphones and the other is I have the q20 and with anc on if I hit/bump the headband I will occasionally get a lot of static so with little padding on the q45 I'm worried I'll get a lot of static if it bump the headband

Thanks for the review. I bought the 45 and they are just too big and heavy. I have a S-M head with average ears. The 45 slides around my head at the smallest fitting. I'm going to return the 45 and opt for the 30 or 35.
You didn't mention one feature. Apparently the Q45 have dual connection, meaning you can pair with 2 different devices and only switch between them. Is that feature any good?

Just got the Q20s and they're amazing. I also have a pair of now broken AIAI studios. Both sound great. The Q20s are everything you need. Apart from a headphone amplifier! (I like music headache loud!).

Great comparison. I'm trying to decide if I want to "upgrade" to the Q45s from the Q35s. My Q35 active pause feature when I'm wearing them sometimes randomly turns on while they are on my ears. I can pass my Q35s down to my teenager 😁
You can turn that feature off with the soundcore app. You can also update the firmware which might help as well.

My Q30s came with a guide on how to place your headphones in the case, it's a small tag on the side of the case, I don't know if yours have it or not but mine do. Try to look around on the right side of the case.
