I've been using mine for several months now and still love it. If you have issues with it drying out, add a drop of vegetable glycerin to each. If you have trouble with mold, add a drop of clove bud oil to each, and make sure to open/stir every week or so. If you use tons of water, add a drop of gum arabic to each one (strengthens the binder), which I saw you did. Also I loved that "living dangerously" 🤣 I hope you love your palette as much as I do! It goes with me everywhere. 😄
hi thanks for this info, a suggestion to you reference to mould, keeping a palette in a fridge between uses helps as room temps with air inside helps bacteria to create mould spores, cheers Paul
I love this palette as well. I stirred in a few drops of Windsor and Newton watercolor medium to each well and it stays the right consistency. I’ve had no trouble with mold. Thank you for your channel. I’ve enjoyed it.
I bought this after seeing Sarah's video and it has helped me a lot to give gouache another chance after struggling so much before. I started using Rosa Gallery Watercolors and Rosa Studio Gouache and Arteza Gouache as I am still a beginner. Thank you for your video!
You are such a delight to listen to. I've just ordered my first set of gouache (Holbein). I plan on purchasing the palette you are showing. Thank you for this video and your generosity in sharing! Best wishes! ~Carole
I have the same gouache palette and one of the things I learnt is not to overfill the paints. If they go over the edges then the seal does not work as well. I did this with my white gouache as I thought I needed more white 😮. Lesson learnt 😢. I use Wilson & Newton gouache student grade as I am just learning to paint 🎨. When you mentioned it looks like a Rubix cube, I thought the same thing 😂 Thank you for sharing 🤗🇨🇦

I got this mini gouache palette for my Caran D’Ache basic set and MGraham Ti-White after Lindsay’s review about 6mths ago. Enjoyed it while painting, and I am yet to get any mold growing in my paints. I also have a hard time opening this palette and I attributed it to ‘a me’ issue! TFS!! 🤩😂😉👍🏾✨💜🤘🏾
TY, very informative. I like the tip about adding gum Arabic to wells. Never thought of that. I’ve had my paints in this type of palette for a couple years, adding water here and there, so gum Arabic is a good idea. ❤
this video was so helpful thank you! i have one of these palettes but just a little apprehensive about actually putting my gouache in (winsor & newton is my fave) i do have a cheapy brand so i might try it with that first!
Hello. I saw a comment you made on Frugal Crafter You Rube and decided to come look at your review. I've enjoyed it greatly. I'm a fairly new watercolor artist and right now my favorite paint is a tie between Coman and Viviva color sheets.
This is a great idea to put the Himi gouache in, that way I will not have to lug the big palette around. If you struggled to open it in the bloopers, I have no hope for me lol. Stay safe and keep creating 💜💙💛
Lol "struggled to find it...eventually got it"! Understatement of the year! Hahaha :) I'm so glad you love it! I absolutely love mine, too, several months in. Mine didn't have the cool water cup with brush holder but I don't mind since I currently mostly use it at home. I use so much water to clean my brushes when I use gouache I'm not sure if I'll use it on the go! Am I just weird? So excited about your gorgeous gouache!!!
Thank you for a very informative and timely video. I am learning to use gouache and looking for a better way to use them than straight out of the tubes. I like this! I also like the idea of using it for my watercolors. My favorite brand of watercolor and gouache is Windsor and Newton.

Just discovered you and subscribed. Very good review. I just got my palette like yours, getting ready to fill it. Looking forward to more of your posts.
One favorite watercolor brand currently is Paul Rubin. I purchased the pallet in the color red. I also have difficulty opening the top. I use the pallet for my Windsor Newton tubes watercolor paints the student grade. I use the pallet at home. In the spring "we" will paint outside. Your landscape picture was wonderful. I missed the Premier.
Very useful thank you! And I got to the end, of course. Loved all your tips. But I don't have yet a favoritee brand because I'm just starting with gouache.
Holbein water colour and gouache is so good, we used them in my university watercolour classes. I’ve started trying the Windsor and newton designers gouache and I like it. I’ve always struggled with keeping my gouache wet so I’ll have to try this method!!
Hello Sketchs.n.Scrubs how are you doing? The last time i left you a massage i was sick from the flue. I am all better now😊My favoriete gouache set is himi miya gouache set 56 colours. I don,t paint whit watercolours anymore. I wanna try acrylic gouache. I orderd the himi miya gouache 56 colour set and the acrylic gouache paints from liquitex from amazone. I am ordered 1 watercolour pallet. For my acrylic gouache i wanna use my masterson stay wet pallet. One for my gouache and one for my acrylic gouache paints. Its my first time working whit acrylic gouache. I hope i like them😊👍🏾🎨👋🏾i love you,re painting.
Hello Sketchs.n.Scrubs. thank you for you,re message. My parents and are doing mutch better now👋🏾😁I now only paint whit Himi miya gouache 56 set. I use the bottles of acrylic till i am out and then i don,t buy them anymore. Take care of you re self and you,re loved one,s👋🏾😁👍🏾
I understand you! 😂 to have a certain order of colors, hard to decide how/what color where 😅🤷♀️ this is perfect, I'm planning to get a palette and colors in a plein art set.
Thank you! I just bought the same palette at Ali Express. My favorite gouache? I don’t know. Just starting with gouache and I ordered some Holbein and Winsor & Newton designers gouache. Can’t wait for it to arrive! 🎉
Great video. I will be getting the palette. Love the painting you did! I have read to use vegetable glycerin in the paints because it slows the drying process. I add a drop to each color on my mixing palette as I paint. Gouache is a new medium for me. So far I am having fun with it.
Great video! Thanks for posting. I have been using one very similar for a little over 6 months. I only had mold when I used M. Graham gouache but never with Turner or Lukas. Don't overfill the wells like I did once. Big mess! It has never dried out for me. I have gone 4+ weeks without even touching it and a little spritz of water kept everything going. Great palette. Super useful! 🙂
@@SketchesnScrubs no, not acryla gouache. I use their designer gouache. It lasts very well in the palette and is great to work with. Really vibrant pigments. If you haven't tried them I highly recomend them. 🙂
My favourite gouache brand is Schmincke Horadam. I have this palette, but I'm still reluctant to use it. Although I do speculate that having the paint ready to be used would encourage me to paint more often like you say in the video. So thank you for this video!
I recently bought this palette and I've been hesitant about adding my gouache into it because I hardly ever use it. Your video was helpful - thank you! Also, your painting(s) are really pretty!
Even though I don't use gouache, I really enjoyed watching your video. My son uses gouache at school, I think it's Talents, student's grade. The only tube of gouache I use is Winsor and Newton designers gouache permanent white.
I have Master's class gouache by Nevskaya Palitra and it's nicu just a bit muted colors. Their Prussian blue is also very dark, muted. I also have a Schmincke academy primary gouache set, and few Schmincke Horadam tubes which I haven't tried yet since I enjoy using the triad magenta, cyan, yellow very much. I can mix so many colors with it. I use the three pigments and white to completely paint portraits. Usually small ones though.
I am loving my Sui Gouache right now but mostly I have W&N and they are amazing, too! Your gouache landscapes have been STUNNING with this palette, loving it so much! Great bloopers as usual 🤣
Just got this palette and your video was so timely. I occasionally spritz with alcohol as well; no mold! Recently purchased the clove bud oil too. Thank you for your tips on setup. I paint en plein air this time of year and am anxious to take this one on the road. Thanks (I subscribed too)
My favourite gouache brand is Winsor and Newton. I have them in the same pallet as this, it works perfectly. I bought one for my 11 year old son too. I love watercolour too but don’t have a favourite. I use Daniel Smith, Qor, Mission Gold and supper granulating paints. 😊
I'm new to it all so I can only speak of what I have which is the Gansai Tambi watercolors that I got for my birthday today. I have heard mention of gouache in video's I have been watching but I have no experience with it. Thanks for a nice video.
Hello from California 😊 I just found your channel! Thanks for your review and method for storing gouache. I’m currently using M.Graham and Windsor and Newton gouache. I’m going to try out a similar palette I found on Amazon as I can’t find the same palette on Jackson’s offered here in the states.
Crazy good video! 🌟Thanks for the product review! Gouache drying quickly has kept me from enjoying it as much as I like to and this seems like the fix! My favorite gouache brand is probably M. Graham. 👌🏽👍🏽
@@SketchesnScrubs I actually just ordered the palette!😆 Yeah! I’m from the US! I’m a bit of a noob, but I’m inspiring and learning art. I hope to become a student. I paint with watercolor and gouache! Can’t wait to see more of your lovely videos!😊
This is a handy little palette! For gouache, the brand I use most often is W&N Designers, but a recent discovery is Shinhan Professional Designers gouache (I think that's the name!). I only have a few, but the colours are gorgeous and the price is really good!
Your difficulties with opening that pallet is real, my friend. LOL! With my luck, I would only struggle, and spill paint all over the place, when I’m wearing white. I never spill when I’m wearing dark colored clothes. So my favorite brand of gouache so far is Windsor and Newton. Though Sarah Burns recently (a few months ago?) tried some Schmincke gouache and loved them. Mike, the Mind of Watercolor (also on UA-cam) did a brand comparison and Schmincke came out on top. IF and only if, I really get into painting with gouache, I will try it too. Until then, I’ve got WAAAAAAY to much paint already… Maybe when I retire and don’t have a day job… LOL! Talk soon!
Oh, I think I am divided between Windsor & Newton and M. Graham for gouache. I really love an etsy shop for watercolors - Nectar Watercolors. Love her paints.
I have White Nights gouache - it’s the only one I have tried so far and it is great! You have a lot of it for the price, they come in small barrels, so this teeny weeny pallet is definitely a useful one!
I love that you also demonstrated how you set it up! Can imagine wasn’t easy to pick a selection, at least it never would be for me lol! anyway, now I need it, too but maybe the one I got is good enough? It’s a rectangle shape and also has this rubber thingie
Hi I live in Sweden now and i discovered gouach in tubes by a reputable craft shop called Panduro I was very impressed by the quality and amount for your money, judging by the many reviews I have watched I think this is as good as most brands. I have Windsor and Newton, Miya Himi and Arrtx gouache I could lie and say I have compared them but truth is I haven't even opened them yet🤣 What a fabulous artist you are , love your locs and your style, consider me subscribed and notified 💜🤗💯 🎨
I love Schmincke horadam watercolors, but they are also my first watercolors, I am a beginner and I love love Schmincke’s Helio Turquoise ❤️ I have it hard picking colors because I try for a heavy metal free palette and the research behind every pigment is a real struggle. So thats kinda demotivating by the time I maybe know what colors should be safer for me I dont even feel like I want to paint anymore 😢😅 and all the colors I want I cant have 🧐😒 thank you for the video ❤❤️ was very helpful for me ❤️
Loved this and the one in the park in Surrey. As I live in Surrey it brought it all close to home and I love the way you explain your thinking process as I can really identify. So thanks so much for that. Thinking of getting the palette for acrylics. Do you think it would work ok? I imagine they would stain so getting the right colours from the start is even more important!😀
@@SketchesnScrubs Ha! No problem! The delay has given me time to experiment! :) So I can now confirm that it DOES actually work with acrylics! I actually bought 2 palettes - one for gouache and one for acrylics. It's a great way of reducing what I carry - I don't take all those tubes of paint. (But I do take a separate tube of white.) It saves a lot of time too and I found it really useful for painting competitions in the Sutton parks (where there was time pressure), reducing set-up time and giving me more time to actually paint! Happy New Year to you too - looking forward to lots more painting videos. Thanks for all you do.
A wonderful video, I have this palette and agree it’s perfect for painting outdoors 🎨🌳🌞🦌 I love Winsor & Newton watercolours & gouache; I also have Arrtx gouache and they’ve worked brilliantly for me too. Stay safe & stay creative xXx
I have now watched both you and Sarah Burns use this for gouache and I too was thinking 🤔 and wondering how well it would work for my watercolors. I am thinking that since I love the Winsor & Newton brand so much for my watercolors, watercolor pencils, & their plain colored pencils, I might try a starter set or just pick out 16 colors for my own gouache palette and buy this for them.
About it being upside down or on the side, It's in my purse on its side for most of its life and I haven't experienced any leaks or color contamination from it being on the side. As for my favorite gouache brand I like all the one that I've tried (holbein, wisnor and newton, himi gouache) but when using my burnt umber from the himi gouache when I mix it with white it turns gray. I don't know if it's just my palette or not as I've been using one watercolor brand dainel smith as I choose to invest in high quality with select colors.
Thank you for a great video! ☺️ I just received a palette I ordered, it's the Wandic 36 well air tight palette. I found it on Amazon Sweden, but the pictures don't do it justice - it has a mixing area that is stored underneath the palette when closed, but once you open the box you can attach it to the side of your palette! 😍 It's much bigger, of course, but I'm excited to try it out as soon as I'm able to! (Edit:I also like that the wells are a bit "rounded" in the bottom! I imagine it might be a bit kinder to my brushes.)
@@SketchesnScrubs Thank you for the encouragement!! ☺️ I intend to use it for gouache! I like my watercolours dried, but I just started experimenting a tiny bit with gouache and I love it creamy! I only have a couple of tubes right now, so I will have to wait for quite some time before I'm able to dive into that more fully. But I found this palette and could just see my future, haha! 😂 Thank you so much! I wish you the same!
Thanks for such detailed review and so many tips! I'm playing with our local brand called Umton (Czechia). It makes some strange version of gouache with added safflower oil. I like that it makes harder to reactivate the paint when it dries, so good for layering, but also it is impossible to rewet it once it dries in the palette (yep, made that mistake :D). But I don't use these paints as often as I'd like because of the fiddling with tubes and squeezing out etc... I'll see if I can procure this amazing little palette you have, but the shipping from UK is a bit of a nightmare😅.
Hi. Great video. I love winsor and newton gouache! Have you ever tried adding glycerin to your gouache, instead of gum arabic? I find with adding gum arabic the gouache can thin out and become shiny and a little gloopy when painted with BUT with glycerin-just add 1-2 SMALL drops to each half pan and it transforms the gouache into soft rewetable heaven without all the extra gum arabic shine and gloopy-ness. (Side tip- a little bit of glycerin goes a looong way so only use 1-2 very small drops to paint)...Anyway great video and thanks for sharing. Much ❤
Great video. I filled the palette but I can't start painting. Why? Because I couldn't figure out how to keep paints in the wells not contaminated by other colors while painting. And every video about this palette is fast forwarding the painting stage and I cannot catch the steps while mixing paint :)) I have a Pelikan opaque watercolor set and all the cakes are messy with other colors because when I adjust the mixes I continuously get one color or other. Rinsing between every touch would be too tedious. Any help appreciated...
Hey! My colours do get a bit contaminated if I’m rushing, but to reduce that I wash my brush in water between colours as I would for any palette. I also don’t use the top to mix, I use a separate mixing palette I hope this helps xx
I want to update after my trial for other viewers. The color on the brush doesn't want to leave the bristles too much anyway because paint in the well doesn't want to take it :) Because it's creamy opposed to my Pelikan set's solid cakes. So it doesn't get too messy after all. Remaining little bits can easily be collected by a cleanish brush. So it's really a game changer palette for me.@@SketchesnScrubs
Hi Sketches n Scrubs, I just purchased one of these but having problems opening the actual palette, I’m concerned about breaking the clip but is it meant to come off in order to flip the palette lid open? It’s a bit technical 😁
Hey Rebecca, sorry for the late reply - did you figure it out? I struggle to explain it in text lol but there are two levers, one is to attach to the cup (lift that first) the other is to close the actual palette (lift that second - that is the one that sticks a bit) x
I kept myself from watching this video for a while. This because I hadn't been able to score one of those pallets yet and I did not wanna hype myself up with it before actually being able to get my hands on one. But now the time is there! However, now I find myself hesitant to actually fill up the damn thing as I am a beginner to the medium and find that I am scared to waist paint. Such a stupid thing to fear as the paint is MEANT to be used, but you know, stupid human brain and all that haha. But I will try next week or so. Thank you for the informative video. It has been a couple of months now that you've made it, are you still as happy with the pallete? And do you maybe have some tips/words of caution now that you've used it for a while?
I wonder how the palette is going? The gummy bit is definitely necessary because not only does it prevent the paint from going everywhere but also it would dry out. But yes, I think that's the difficulty in closing it. I have a Qor palette that is completely dry except the Cobalt Turquoise, which has run out of the well TWICE now LOL. It always has the most binder.
@@SketchesnScrubs Thanks for asking! You know I'm rather embarrassed, but I haven't poured mine yet. I have 5 tubes and 24 wells soooo...... I keep wondering if I should buy a few more LOL! Why I didn't buy the smaller size, I'm not sure. I keep thinking I'll add a few pastel pinks and purples that are fugitive but ok for sketchbook, and a green or something, and maybe make a nice floral palette. I just got some new brushes with gouache in mind (some synthetic like a dagger and a long filbert, some flat sable, so they can be used for either medium. Perhaps I'll pour it very soon. Oh yes, I have several palettes in several brands with cobalt turquoise that escaped from it's spot. It seems to be runny in every brand! (must require a lot of binder.)
Himi/Miya is my favorite the amount you get for the price is amazing! I find that even the best professional grade ones are only 1.5 - 2 times as good but 11 times (or more) the price! I do have some Holbein as well but its not 11 times better so.... Basic math! I paint so much more without the guilt of 'wasting' expensive paint. Literally I checked 100 times more! I also get empty half and full pans and premix custom colours and can add in my dr ph martens hydrus (liquid concentrated watercolours) And improve the vibrancy and glow of the gouache! I use magnets and tins. I find I paint very often and pre-wet the paint a bit before (eyedropper) and can totally reactivate if it is at all dried! I haven't noticed a loss in thickness/quality. I don't have any gum arabic yet, but currently want to get some. But I sadly have suffered some mold issues along the way and am sensitive to scents. I even did use only distilled water with it at the time. Mold spores are in the air... My solution is to use a mist spray with isopropyl alcohol and have had no issues since! When I get new gouache now I add some isopropyl and mix it thoroughly! I decided the mold issues were too severe (I started getting ill from it, and I could clearly smell it) So its worth the potential impact on lightfastness, after all I am also using the more fugitive colours and will warn anyone about lightfastness details if I do a commission with himi gouache and currently lightfast testing them. Some are actually more lightfast so knowing which is which is useful. I recommend doing custom mixes I have been painting even more and quicker laying out all the paint. But each person has differing preferred ways to work. Buy what is the best quality for the price based on where you live and what works best for you.
Ya’ll killing me with picking favorites…it’s like choosing my favorite kitty…😻. Lurve all my babies. I’ll MVP-it by saying my favorite part of your “living dangerously “ is that this lil box has you painting gouache more. That’s a grand return on investment, I say. 💰 Sorry I missed the premiere, kitty snuggles put me back to sleep. Look forward to next week though ⏰.
Favourite gouache is schmincke calligraphy, then schmincke gouache, then Windsor newton. You did make me laugh trying to get that lid off. I wouldn’t have a chance. Thank you for confirming my decision not to buy this one.
@@SketchesnScrubs the calligraphy gouache us allegedly finer ground so it flows better from a dip pen nib. Not sure if it is still in production as I haven't needed to buy replacement. I know they did discontinue a few colours. There are some demonstration videos from Patricia Lovett ( hope I got that right) who I believe consulted on the development knocking around somewhere on UA-cam. You put it in the nib with a brush. Sounds irritating but actually I got the hang of it really quickly and don't even think of it as weird now. The colours are spot on I'd you are trying to get historical type looks. Bright but not lurid if that makes sense. I love gouache as an easily manageable medium to replicate illuminated manuscript. Very flat colour is perfect.
Love this little box! As of now my favorite Gouache isn't really gouache at all because it's the Holbein acryla gouache which is more of a matte acrylic. It does dry fast being made with acrylic medium, so I use a massive Masterson stay wet tray, maybe I could give this a go. But I love the Windsor newton watercolor too. And I keep those in a travel Altoids mint tin with little Wells made out of polymer clay.
Also I loved that "living dangerously" 🤣
I hope you love your palette as much as I do! It goes with me everywhere. 😄

I’m glad that you’re doing better and I hope your parents are too x
Hello Sketchs.n.Scrubs. thank you for you,re message. My parents and are doing mutch better now👋🏾😁I now only paint whit Himi miya gouache 56 set. I use the bottles of acrylic till i am out and then i don,t buy them anymore. Take care of you re self and you,re loved one,s👋🏾😁👍🏾
I understand you! 😂 to have a certain order of colors, hard to decide how/what color where 😅🤷♀️ this is perfect, I'm planning to get a palette and colors in a plein art set.
I agree! I hope this has helped 😂😂 thank you for watching ❤️
Hi...you could use food grade propylene glycol to gouache ...few drops...and it prevents from drying for long time
Thank you! I just bought the same palette at Ali Express. My favorite gouache? I don’t know. Just starting with gouache and I ordered some Holbein and Winsor & Newton designers gouache. Can’t wait for it to arrive! 🎉
I loved this video. I bought this pallet & I like it so far. I also plan on getting the extra colors you suggested.
Thank you for this video. I just started with gouache last May and been using the miya himi gouache. It is big and hard for me to paint outside.
Excellent information! Thank you for all the information. Your painting is beautiful.
I've been practising dark colours first and letting them dry, then adding the lights. Thanks!!
I am still new to watercolors, but of the ones that I've tried, I do like my Windsor & Newton the best. Great vid, and beautiful art!
Even though I don't use gouache, I really enjoyed watching your video. My son uses gouache at school, I think it's Talents, student's grade. The only tube of gouache I use is Winsor and Newton designers gouache permanent white.
Love the painting.
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one struggling to open it, I was so scared I was gonna break it
I have this palette and haven't filled it yet; seems like you I am giving it a lot of thought :) You have inspired me
I am loving my Sui Gouache right now but mostly I have W&N and they are amazing, too!
Thanks (I subscribed too)
@@SketchesnScrubs I’m in State College, PA in the United States
This was an excellent video! ❤ My favorite watercolor brand is Daniel Smith & gouache brand is Winsor & Newton. 😊
My favourite gouache brand is Winsor and Newton. I have them in the same pallet as this, it works perfectly. I bought one for my 11 year old son too. I love watercolour too but don’t have a favourite. I use Daniel Smith, Qor, Mission Gold and supper granulating paints. 😊
located and ordered one here in the U.S.. Ironically I am buying one to use in London on vacation.
I'm new to it all so I can only speak of what I have which is the Gansai Tambi watercolors that I got for my birthday today. I have heard mention of gouache in video's I have been watching but I have no experience with it. Thanks for a nice video.
@@SketchesnScrubs thank you. So far I'm really enjoying them. Now to learn more about gouache.
Graham. 👌🏽👍🏽
@@SketchesnScrubs I actually just ordered the palette!😆
Yeah!
@@SketchesnScrubs They're definitely worth a try! I got mine from Jackson's. And you're welcome, I love your videos (and your personality too)!
I have Windsor and Newton, Miya Himi and Arrtx gouache I could lie and say I have compared them but truth is I haven't even opened them yet🤣
What a fabulous artist you are , love your locs and your style, consider me subscribed and notified 💜🤗💯 🎨
@@SketchesnScrubs I was born and raised in the UK living in Sweden now 🙂
I’ve bought it too… just need to fill it !
I haven't tried too many brands but my favorite watercolor is Royal Talens' Van Gogh line. I also love their acrylic paint, Amsterdam Standard Series🥰
I love Schmincke horadam watercolors, but they are also my first watercolors, I am a beginner and I love love Schmincke’s Helio Turquoise ❤️ I have it hard picking colors because I try for a heavy metal free palette and the research behind every pigment is a real struggle. So thats kinda demotivating by the time I maybe know what colors should be safer for me I dont even feel like I want to paint anymore 😢😅 and all the colors I want I cant have 🧐😒 thank you for the video ❤❤️ was very helpful for me ❤️
Sand down the latch slightly; that worked for me with the opening.
@@SketchesnScrubs You’re welcome 😉.
Great video! I was wondering how this pallete was fairing.
Just another question if I may, you made this a year back, having used this palette do you still like it and recommend it, thanks Paul
Thanks for sharing
thats a cool gadget 💗💗
Much ❤
Winor and newton is my fav gouache😃
I also don’t use the top to mix, I use a separate mixing palette
I hope this helps xx
Happy painting! Xx
@@SketchesnScrubs Thank you for taking the time to answer. I will try to change my mixing habit as you say.
Thank you so much for the update! I’m so glad this has got you to dip into gouache ❤
@@SketchesnScrubs
Yup! You explained it perfectly! 🤩 I had only the last few days figured it out, it’s stiff though. Loving it.
I use m graham watercolour!
Awsome
Thank you x
I’m sorry - I can’t find the link to the palette! What is the name of it? Thank you!
I wonder how that palette would be with acrylics in it. Mmm
@@SketchesnScrubs yep that's what's holding me back. Mmm might stick with my bigger stay wet palette. 🥴
I have this palette, but I don't dare to fill it with gouache since I use it few times a year.
I thought it was a Rubik’s cube by the thumbnail 😆
Love this little box! As of now my favorite Gouache isn't really gouache at all because it's the Holbein acryla gouache which is more of a matte acrylic. It does dry fast being made with acrylic medium, so I use a massive Masterson stay wet tray, maybe I could give this a go. But I love the Windsor newton watercolor too. And I keep those in a travel Altoids mint tin with little Wells made out of polymer clay.
