I agree with Eric about Ahyeon’s performance. For me there was something missing. Don’t get me wrong, she was great but I knew she could do better. Maybe the fact that she had to change the song late threw her off? Like Chiquita. I knew Chiquita was a much better singer than what she showed at the evaluation but because of her being sick she couldn’t show it fully. I think this was a good opportunity for the other members to shine a bit more. Especially Asa: she stood out to me because up until that point I thought she could only rap and dance. She proved she could also sing very well and write. And Rami: shows she may be a bit shy but when I comes to showing her vocal abilities, she’ll light the match and watch you burn. 😅

I feel really bad for the members, like wtf man these fans know nothing behind the scenes, the girls love and support each other's. For Chiquita, keep in mind that the solo missions are happening at the same time as the group mission along with the dance mission. So the BLACKPINK mission in episode 1 - 4 was recorded in April 2022 which we saw the group a and b along with the dance mission. Episodes 5 - 8 was recorded in May 2022. So when you saw Chiquita struggling with her vocals in the group song it was because she was still recovering from covid and lost a week from the solo, group song, and group dance practices. It wasn't that the covid symptoms lasted for a long time, it was because she was in recovery during the last month of evaluation. The D-30 that you saw for the solo, group song, and group dance is at the same time, not one after another. BLACKPINK talks about this and we know that for BABYMONSTER it was the same. In episode 1-4 we saw Haram (Rami) with a knee brace and she wore it around the first week of the D-30 for the BLACKPINK missions. If you watch is really carefully, there is a lot of clues about when it was recorded. The solo songs were performed on a different day than the group song and group dance. The evaluators in the audience were wearing different clothes from the solos but in the group missions they were wearing the same clothes. So the evaluation for the group song and group dance was done on the same day. The writing on the board was actually G-Dragon not YG. YG actually told G-Dragon while he was training that pharse, "Do you want to go home after practicing for 6 years?" And Ahyeon looked surprised because of two things. For one, the members didn't know that G-Dragon was rooting for them and the fact that he put a message to them for motivation was really nice, And Ahyeon also talks about G-Dragon as being one of the idols in YG that she looks up to. In Leejung's evaluation, one of the reasons that she was so emotional was because she had been with them from almost the start. She saw a few members leave the group and knowing that this could be the last time the seven of them would be together was part of the reason that she got so emotional. The one thing about these last two episodes was that you could tell that YG was having a hard time because he knew that the synergy of the seven members was so good that the plans that they probably had to have a group around the same size as BLACKPINK would have to be changed. The sigh that he gave after the SCARS TO YOUR BEAUTIFULperformance/evaluation said it all. I think at that time he was still an Executive Producer and not back to the status of CEO of the company because of his legal issues so it might have been because of financial reason that they could only a a specific amount of members for this group. In other words, they had a specific budget to debut a new group. So if you notice right now the girls are doing fan meets and imagine how much they spend on the girls to fly them and house them. They just did one in Indonesia and imagine how much they has to pay for each of the girls to go. It would have been a lot less if they were a 4 or 5 member group.

And Bro reactor,dont worry.. not all trainies who don't make it are cut from the program or the training ... some...many... choose to leave because it's not their thing they wanted or to difficult ...some choose different direction, different profession or go try out different companies...... also like Ayheon audition Jyp right before YG.
