Preparedness should start with the house. I will never understand how people can build houses that fly away in medium storms and burn down because of electrical fires. I don’t stack PMs to compensate all mistakes done when I built my house. That doesn’t make sense to me. 🤷🏻♂️
It is crazy! I talked to them and it was a stove that had electric issues on the buttons. They had a repair man on the stove recently and apparently it was not resolved.
Tragic loss, but great to hear that their community came together to assist them. Also, a good reminder that the most important things in life are not things.
You can always trade Silver in for Gold. It's actually not a bad idea. You never want to be all-in on Gold or all-in on Silver. They each have their uses that are unique to themselves and the circumstance. Sorry to hear someone lost their home in such a brutal way, but glad to hear that their Gold helped them out. That is of course, hopefully, part of the reason people are stacking things like Silver and Gold. We don't know what tomorrow will bring, but having stored wealth or purchasing power when you can see storm clouds on the horizon just makes sense. It even makes sense in light of the fact that we can all be surprised by life. Keep stacking!
Just to argue though if the money was in the bank they begun interest and still have it. Assuming the bank didn't go through bankruptcy in the meantime which is my concern
That is a valid concern. I guess it is a way to have liquid assets....I know my silver guy has better hours than the bank. Might be one point of value. Banks usually are save with FDIC insurance...buuuuttt we have seen some fishy things in the past.
I hesitate in securing PMs and cash inside the home. Safes are great. I use a couple as decoys. Yes, the Church is a huge benefit during disasters. Sounds like a somewhat happy ending in that nobody died and all are able to create new memories in the future. The scorched Earth fires in Maui last year caused me to wonder how any PMs held up. TY for sharing this video that could save someone watching it some grief in the future by taking some action to secure their PMs and cash somewhere fireproof. Aloha, CoC.
First off.....You are from Hawaii!? How I want to visit your land and see your culture one day! As for your comment...I understand and agree. I was not even thinking about fire protection but it makes perfect sense.
@@cultureofcurrency ... My wife is Hawaiian born and raised. I am from Ohio usa... Fire response is pretty good where we are, homes are mostly redwood construction, though. No basements. I am a proponent of burying and other outdoor secretive hidey holes. TY for your replies. Be safe.

Yes! The things we cannot touch are the most important.
I myself have never thought about gold and silver saving a family like that I'm glad they had it to do to take care of themselves
Me neither....but you can bet I am thinking about it now!
Life is suredly unpredictable, and it serves harsh lessons. We can only do as we are able in order to prepare for hard times.

Well said my friend. Life is full of contrast indeed.

Prayers for that family 🙏
100%. The insurance company is doing their part now.
@cultureofcurrency awesome 💯
I've been touched by fire. Not an easy thing at all. Took 2 years to get back to normal. Prayer's go out to them.
Oh my!!! That sounds like a story I would love to hear one day. I am so sorry...Seems very traumatic.
That is my reasoning for buying silver.
Really! I hope not from personal experience.

@@silversleuth007 Fantastic info my friend. Thank you!
While unfortunate, this story is a wake-up call to what might happen and how metals could mitigate the disaster. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah! I had never thought about fire insurance!
