- Welcome to Prince of Persia: Warrior Within-Life Upgrade Run. This video helps you to collect the life upgrades you in case you missed them. Please note that this run works only if you have the scorpion sword and before becoming the sandwraith.In case you don't fit in these criteria, dont worry.
Here is the save file that I load in the start of the run:

Installing the save file:
Find the folder named "POPWWProfiles"
Select the profile in which you want to save this file.
For example, if the last save file is "Save46.SAV", then rename this file to "Save47.SAV" and copy it to the profile folder.
The life upgrades are (in the order which I collect in this run):
1) Southern Passage
2) Sacrificial Altair
3) Fortress Entrance
4) Prison
5) Library
6) Mechanical Tower
7) Central Hall
8) Garden Activation Room
9) Garden Water Maiden
NOTES:
*Life upgrades 1,4,5,6,7,8 can be collected using the same method even after you finish sandwraith's run.
*Life upgrade 3 can be collected by directly going back from central hall anytime.
*If you had collected life upgrade 2 already, then come back to central hall after collecting life upgrade 1.
*If you had collected life upgrade 4 already then dont go to prison from liabrary.
*If you had collected both life upgrade 4 and 5, then dont go to liabrary from mech tower.
*If you had collected life upgrade 6 already, return to central hall after you collect life upgrade 5.
*If you had collected all of life uprades 4,5 and 6, dont go to mech tower at all.
*The same applies for life upgrades at the garden.
*Dying during this run causes unpredictable glitches to occur. So it is advised to save whenever possible.
*Life Upgrade 9 is tricky because of that door. It sometimes closes. I could'nt figure out what can cause it to close but I am certain that not dying and jumping directly from the corridor to the ledge can ensure that not to happen.
*It is better not to miss life upgrades.

Frequently Asked Questions:
First thing I want to clear is that this is not a video for people who have just started playing the game, this is a video that shows that there is opportunity to pick all life upgrades that you missed but only in certain part of the story.
1) "I don't have a sword that breaks the wall what to do?"
A: It means you haved played the game enough yet. Just progress with the story and you will eventually get it.
2) "Central Hall lever is not active...."
A: Again, it means you at the very start of the game and you have to play more to unlock it.
3) "5:20 I can't jump there it is glitched......."
A: Yes, that is a glitch, but luckily that glitch is not present BEFORE the path of the sandwraith mission. So just play the game from that part before getting the mask.
4) "Garden door is locked, what to do?"
A: There are 2 reason for this. One is that again you have to get here before the path of sandwraith mission. If you go after it's just locked. Second, sometimes it's locked on your way back. In that case, just going to that life upgrade first, before going to activation room upgrade. Try to do the jump skip I do in the video. I think it skips a trigger that causes the door to lock.
Finally, a shortcut solution to most of these problems is a gltich called zipping. Search "Prince of Persia zipping tutorial" and check the video by 'catalystz'. He talks about a lot of complicated zipping techniques but the zips we need here are just to bypass some doors, so it should vbe pretty easy.
Hello, in my game I visited the mechanical room with the giant (5th upgrade) 2 times and the 3rd time the mechanical platform is lifted up so I can not get accross.I checked the levers and the wont budge, all the cogs are in place.Any tips?
@@daedkulis126 Ah this happened to me in my first casual playthrough. You best shortcut solution would to do a backflip zip. Lengthy solution would be to get the life upgrade, go back to the portal and try to backtrack all the way you came from.
@@GMPranav Thnak you man so much, as for the backtrack Im not so sure since activation room of the present is one way only I think.Any tips on how to perform the zippline?
@@daedkulis126 First thing you gotta do is go to game options > controls > and set mousewheel as secondary control for blocking. And then do a backflip towards the platform where that giant guy is usually there. After that you have you immediately start scrolling your mouse to make him block repeatedly. 4 gentle scrolls are usually enough. And then rewind all that. You will see that your backflip is accelerated and you should land on the platform. Make sure you run the game at a stable 60fps. Usually having v-sync on in game settings is more than enough to ensure it.

Thanks man. I had literally gone mad due to not receiving the water sword. I want to suggest something for players seeing this comment, get the flamingo secret sword which is located in the central hall itself. It will make things easier in the library as there are a lot of soldiers there which is really annoying and with the flamingo you can kill the faster if you know combos. PS: this video is super helpful, keep up the good work. Edit: not the flamingo. The hockey stick.

That would make it even more easier to kill Dahaka...since it heals with every hit

@adityamridul3974 I've recently went back to the trilogy and have just completed both endings for this game to get the platinum on playstation the dahaka is the easier ending although I completed that ending on normal difficulty and the empress on hard difficulty didn't know the teddy did that as haven't found it yet could come in handy
Still helpful in 2022, you're a real legend 🙏 Good luck to all the people who'll play this game in the future, it's a real nightmare. I hope they'll make a remake of it to fix all the annoying things (the camera, the combat system, the fact that you can't turn off the music otherwise you'll not have any sound during cutscenes, etc etc..) and above all add something to Fast Travel in every room..
Dude they totally forget to add the skip button on cut scenes.
I've been playing this game again lately and God it sucks watching it again like an unskippable UA-cam ad..!

5:20 Man , he didn't want to hang after the jump, he just keep falling down, and the screen is like when the Dahaka is gonna chase me, but the Dahaka already took my other self. I'm playing on the PS3 , and I really don't know what to do, I dont wanna replay all again. I kept jumping and jumping but he just bounce of the wall then fall down.

Fantastic tutorial. I was so lucky that I looked into the life upgrade thing and found this video right when I got into the great hall again before becoming the sand wraith. I was also lucky that I had already found 4, 5, and 6 so all I had to do was 1-3 which sends you back to the great hall after completing 3, nly to start 7-9.

18:15 is n0rmal. Dahaka's tentacles can appear in places where chases happened before. Its a glitch. The tentacles d0nt d0 damage. They are just graphic glitches found in many chase areas 😊

5:24 i juat got that sacrificial alter life upgrade but when i try to make it to that hole the dakhara thing created ealier there is now no ledge i can jump to like in this video and as a result cannot make it into that hole and as result am stuck in the southern passage and a very terrified mitchy. if you or anyone else is still out there and willing to help me out i would love to know as i am very very scared :)

The jump at 5:20 to the corrider is not happening! I have tried several times but he is not grabbing the ledge and falls down even when he has already been there when he first met Dhaka! Please help! I need to go to the central hall

5:21 this area cannot be entered in some game versions as a glitch will prevent you to enter. Youre trapped in this place running in circles unless you get the life upgr asap after fighting shadee

I think you're trying for life upgrade after removing the Mask. If you are, then yes, exactly its a trap. Its not a glitch or bug. The game has been programmed that way.

That hole will become unenterable after you become SandWraith, but I I've discovered a clever trick to progress game (very precise method)

I missed a life upgrade before killing the beast in the activating tower. Now I've moved on and can't go back. What to do?
Backtrack again, you can open the entrance by using scorpion sword or just zip inside
First, OP is a life saver. Second, for the ninth health upgrade; you don't have to try and make that jump. You can you into the main part of the garden, beat the enemies; once you do; there's an opening that let's you drop safely down to the edge.
7:00 you can get it without using eye of the storm by spaming the wall run in the stairs

It never happened to me, maybe a glitch in your CD. But you can perform a long zip to teleport at back of the giant and progress to the top

You should visit that area before becoming the sandwraith. After becoming the sandwraith, that area is glitched.

Unfortunatelly my game is so buggy that I can barely complete it. I complete it many times in the past and decided I want to play again, but I can't the life upgrade in the central hall (with the lever - 21:25), because as soon as I start to jump from the right wall the prince automatically decides to catch on the ledge instead of jumping of the wall. It's an old game and probably that's why it bugs so much on my newer PC, but if someone has a solution I would be glad to hear it.
Thats unfortunate. Running in Compatibility mode for Windows 7 works fine for me.
@@GMPStudios Nope. Tried it. Even running in for windows XP service pack 2 didn't do anything. The game is just extremely buggy.

Door at 26 min was closed thats the only missed life upgrade

If you cant do the zipping, its best to get this life upgrade early as the Prince (earliest visit)
I came back at the mech tower but instead of jumping at the top edge like You DId I activated the switches so the platform rises but now i can't get the central platform with the ladder back Down so i can reach the fountain and continue, is there a possibility to return it back down?

@@dr.stevensgaming1821 Check the pinned comment, you can't go there after you get the mask because of a glitch. You have to load a save from before you get the mask and start over from there or you can just continue the game and watch the real ending on UA-cam..

I collect all life upgrades (by zipping) before the first battle with Kaileena. Yes, the water sword is available to use against Kaileena but if you pick it it will be broken after the battle.
26:05 ... this is usually the 5th life upgrade i get. It is closed f0rever after first battle with kaileena so get it asap early while on garden mission

Maybe because you tried to access the place AFTER taking the mask off, it doesnt work, thats why I said you have to do it before getting the mask
