So happy to see Drex getting the recognition he deserves. I found him back in middle school when I was going through the worst time of my life, and his songs were some of the only things that could bring me peace. I know he'll probably never read this, but Drex: thank you for helping me find out the type of person I want to be just by being unapologetically you. Time to go throw on some of his music 😎
Facts , He allowed him to create organically. They both were cooking , even though they had time restraints. That who process was magic. They made a banger!
So.... ya know how UA-cam will continuously play videos related to what you started watching? Well, that's exactly how I came across this video. Song is incredible, not knocking it at all, I be blasting this song in my car, but bro, the best song made for Kyle Beats Collective was definitely Don't Even Know with K. Scott. I still bump that shit in the whip! 💯🔥
From a production standpoint, this is probably your best video yet. The story telling was great. Also, this is probably my favorite song you’ve produced. Arrangement was great
That was straight fire! Props to Drex for knowing what he wants and not afraid to express it and for Kyle to run with it with him. The end result is one of the best pieces I've seen on the channel. Towards the end when you bring in 'Drex' as the background singer to himself, and then the beat stops, then three hard drum hits and the song continues is so freaking good.
Such an amazing example of why he's a great producer. Kyle is also an artist, but recognized how he needed to approach it to give Drex the perfect environment to go off. So amazing.
I know it’s rare to get moments and sessions like this on camera but they are top notch and build such a connection to the song for fans. Keep it up man.
Legendary move pulling Drex back in with the "Wait are you ready to record? Let's lay it down." And then some magic freestyle right after to seal it was such a golden moment. Love the absolute realness of this whole video/track/duo creation process.
I watched that back five times. Loved that moment. But, Drex was actually telling Kyle HE was ready to record and trying to be respectful and patient, he decided leaving the room was best, so as to not disturb Kyle's thing, because he was SO ready he was about to combust (tweaking). Kyle finally realized what Drex was saying with the "Wait, so you're ready to record, you're saying?" and brought him back, realizing he could do the beat stuff later. Drex wasn't pulled back, he was already ready.
"This was Forever", is an incredible fucking BANGER! It slaps so hard! For someone who've never heard of either the artist or the channel, this is such a fkin masterpiece! The riff is just so fkin insanely good!

I have always thought to myself I pretty much can make a song out of anything and I really can but really not saying anything.
I don't know it was dope af to see what come of that if actually continuing down that path and not just letting it go in the moment thanks
bro i been watching your videos for a while now but this one is a masterpiece... i think you should do this kinda video with 24hours or 48hour one to one with the artist just like this. and maybe have new playlist on Spotify but only for the one to one artist then can have their own competition on that playlist to see which song is most listened too...
finally someone knows what rapping is,not only running the words, you gotta merge it with the melody, fire, good job yall!
This was very insightful, thank you for showing us the process of catching the magical moment!
Bro love the process and mad respect for you both. Song is fire, video matches, and the timeline is insane!
