- We take a look at the ten oldest Hells Angels Charters in the world today.
We try to mix some older pictures with the newer pictures to show where they came from to where they are now. We look at the foundation Chapters that got the big Red Machine rolling and made the Hells Angels the most iconic Motorcycle Club in the world today.

It’s a very long and involved story I have just spoken to one of the originals but need a bit more info before posting. The original is patched and a 1% Dr. American Jim Carrico was sent over to establish after a request from the original above was presented. It was his motivation in life. He’s now aged, doesn’t ride but still has his patch. Watch for further developments. I am his lady and his conduit.
@@mbownight215 I guess thats because of the racial make up of New Zealand, and also as the Australian clubs have found out, Maoris and particularly the Polynesian boys are built like tanks, and can be a real asset to have on your team when the shit hits the fan...
Further info: the original travelled to the states as a merchant seaman. He wrote to an address he found in a Hot Rod magazine of the time. On arrival he was messaged and met by a member who told the Original what he could and couldn’t do and told him to keep under the radar. The original complied and was allowed to ride with the chapter during his time in the states. He then travelled to the UK and Europe before returning to Auckland where Jim Carrico had arrived to set up the chapter. From there it’s history. The north shore mob was originally a group of rag tag young blokes that lived for their bikes. They used to line up outside 246 Queen St on a Saturday night and party hard other times. The Auckland Star did several stories about the group during this growth period and some of their story is available in the old editions held in the Auckland Museum. Of course as this is now knitted into the history of the growth of MC groups in NZ, the original is now one of few people left to tell this story. He knows there are a few others younger than he still riding or certainly wish they could. He is still patched and still a 1%. 😁 Hope this helps a little. Does anyone know what happened to Carrico? It isn’t known why he left NZ or his destination.

My homies got the Irish death head,they have a few,but the Celtic version one while over there. Awesome folks they are. Haven’t seen those guys in awhile.

I no for fact yrs they were artic angels there was 25 origonal members of the arctic angels on this subject arctic angels it was in the sixtys cauze new zealonds chaptor of hells sngels being the first out of the usa they were shut down and and patch over to new zealond k my friend john lawry has a photo of helld angels in the artic onthere harleys

Yes you are correct.....London in 69 but they aren't featured because the video is only on the Ten oldest, London was 14th I believe.....Thanks for your feedback

Goes back to the First World War. Howard Hughes made a movie before the Second World War titled Hell’s Angels. Name has been around a long time.

How old are they? I used to live around coburg and Brunswick right near the harley place on sydney rd we used to see them all the Time and tha was was about 30years ago

Didnt a couple of the real ones come over to London from the states to approve the charter? I'm sure they went to Chelsea Bridge with a guy on a pan head called Harley Pete. Wonder what happened to him. I was seventeen at the time. Used to go flat out across the Bridge at 2am on a Friday night. YEEEE HAAAA.
