    If the 41 peg fits my head could i use the 41 in this. Does this pattern go by your headsize

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  3 роки тому +8

      Hi Catherine! This headband is sideways loom knitted. You work a "knitted tube" and make it a headband. If you use a 41-peg loom, the "tube" will be too wide to be a headband (it could work for a cowl, though). I recommend you to check my "Headbands" video playlist if you want to find another headband to be knitted with the 41-peg loom

  • @lpearce5583
    @lpearce5583 2 роки тому +2

    20" doesn't seem long enough to go around the head and cover the ears. I used a tape measure on my head and it's more like 24" around the ears. So, should I stop stitching at 24"?

  • @lisadrake6165

    Would you base the loom size the same as you would for making hats? For babie/toddlers/children?

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Lisa! I would use this same loom (because is the smallest I have) but I would work a fewer number of rounds to make the headband fit around the head of babies/toddlers/children

  • @user-kg1em7pt7v
    @user-kg1em7pt7v 3 роки тому +2

    Lovely! I have a question is this possible to do with 2 colours? Meaning the ends (that become the “bow”) to be different from the rest of the headband? If so how?

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  3 роки тому +3

      What a great idea! :) You'll need to knit the first 12 rounds in that color, and the last 12 rounds in that color too. When you want to change colors, just stop using the "old color" strand and start using the new one.
