Really cool hike Matt and Scott, lake Hyatt looks absolutely gorgeous in the trail scrambling and climbing through the brush was very challenging. I really enjoyed watching this video of the high elevation beauty. Thank you
I had a feeling it would be a gold prospecting video. But, wow, those scenic shots are pure GOLD!!! So glad you took the girl with you. She seems to have performed like a champ. What a beautiful girl she is. Thanks for that video!
It's just as rewarding! Yes she did a great job. She got sick on the last night and had a tough hike out though, the poor pup. But she toughed it out like a champ though
Love this area!!! Cherry Creek is a kayaker's paradise! I hope sometime you will feature a bit about the Bourland (SP?) trestle; or the many caves in the area. Thanks for featuring the beautiful Sierras!
I was actually not aware of the bourland trestle but it looks like I was pretty close to it on the drive in. I'm glad you shared! I'll definitely be adding this to my bucket list. I have been to moaning and mercer caverns which are both great places to visit as well
Moaning Cavern is a blast! So glad you share these outings! I'm currently living in Las Vegas NV & caring for a senior parent, but my hope is that I can move back to the Sierra foothills area in the future. Many blessings to you, & keep sharing those adventure videos. Also since the weather is warming up, could you share a video visit to God's Bath? That is, if you like really cool swimming holes 😁🌊💙
When did you do this? West cherry is one of my all-time favorite canyons. There are some fantastic waterfalls there on that creek above and below where you crossed.

Glad you enjoyed it! The scrambling was a challange but well worth it. Easily one of the prettiest lakes in the sierras that I've been to.
