      This is the feeling you get as you perform the stroke, but in reality after the racquet drop, and when you initiate the swing, you are just keeping a loose wrist and it will automatically rotate after contact. To hit a forehand, on the takeback you basically want to use your wrist to keep the racquet upright, then relax your wrist and accelerate into the racquet drop until the end of the stroke, which will give you racquet lag which is the "whip" feeling hes talking about which is a natural flex of the wrist that happens when you follow my explanation

      @@AlanGonzalez-ev6ur Pros like Rafa have a deep takeback...is that for maximum power? Fritz didn't take his racket back deep, but if you have time is that something you should focus on...taking the racket back with your off hand as far back as possible?
