- With the first ever Women’s Lions tour finally on the horizon, Scaz & Mo (with the help of some Irish, Scottish & Welsh friends) put their heads together to pick a starting IV Lions side.
Without picking themselves, they come up with a team that spans the four nations - which makes their hearts hurt at the talent they’ve had to leave out.
Oh, and Elma & KDM pop up to Durham to catch up with some of the university rugby team who are part of the EmpowHER project we’re running with Vodafone.

Overrated
What I would’ve liked to see is a Scaz 15 and a Mo 15 and they take turns picking first for each position. That way we get double the picks + benches!!
Holly Aichison most surely walk into the no 10 role. She was breathtaking in the 6 Nations and the W.XV

Well, Jess Breach is a favourite, so I would pick her 😀 -- but seriously, it's an impossible task to pick only 15. You could easily pick two full teams that would be numbers one and two in the world.

Just saw this video yesterday so took on the challenge (do not use other platforms, so maybe wasting my time, but never mind). I am a Red Roses fan, so I will not pick any Roses, does not seem fair, so I picked 30 from Ireland, Wales and Scotland, guess your "no brainers" would replace my first pick at each position. Would they beat the Ferns, no idea. Beating the Ferns is more about attitude, the Ferns expect to win, show them they are wrong, the win will follow.
Actually a touring party of 35-38 players should be the 1st pick.
Appreciate how hard this is but how you can pick George over Aitcheson, Harrison , Rowland , Nelson and Jones. She's not in the same league, Wouldn't even be on the plane.
Pick your touring team of 30-35 and then it’s the form on tour, reputation that you take with you means little compared to how you are performing. There could be players come through to grab a place.
Scaz "You can't just pick a Gloucester-Hartpury team" ... Me "I'm not playing then"
Coach is a much easier game to play. I'd go with Susie Appleby ably assisted by Scaz & Mo as assistants
Clearly an impossible task but what a really good effort ladies - but, wait! No coach! Simon Middleton perchance?

There are only one or two of these Celtic players "picked" who would get into the Red Roses squad, certainly no atarters... It may be different in 2027 but not now.
You are both brilliant players but that giggling just annoys me so I can't watch
