- Today @Raasclark and I use a random word generator to get a random word and then have an hour to tame a dino that starts with each letter of that word.

Took me a while to realize they are restricted by the map. Gacha, Giga, Gigantopithecus, Griffin, Ferox, Fenrir, Ice Titan (no way that's tamed in 1 hour though). No Enforcer for E either. And maybe Karkinos is a better K, but again, probably not on that map.
On the bright side, Raas should praise the fact that Hyena exists, or he'd have to tame a Hesperonis.
Yeah and I don't think we would allow titans to be tamed 😅

Lord I love it whenever Veno ask Raas heads or tails. It’s now been imbedded in my brain for Raas to say, “Tails never fails.” The rhyme is so good and simple.

Veno wins the coin toss, then proceeda to IMMEDIATELY throw away the win by giving Raas the word with the OBVIOUS double wyverns, and doesnt even grab a poison wyvern himself.

I dunno about this one, if flyers are not allowed then surely Wyverns should be on that list too or at the very least grounded, poor Veno 😞
They said they couldn’t ground them, hopefully they can make a mod that grounds them.
To be fair it’s likely Raas woulda had it anyways. He had a 180 lightning and a really good thyla lined up, both of which counter the kentro by avoiding the thorns damage with either bleed or lightning damage. But it would have been nice to SEE that fight rather than the fire cleaning up.

This is a fun challenge! It's fun watching you figure out what dinos start with each letter. It would be fun to see this on all the ASE maps, it would test your knowledge of dinos on each map lol
It's ironic if you think about it. Raas ended up with the word flight, which gave him two flyers. Veno must have gotten unlucky cause wiki says poison wyvern is on scorched. When Raas was looking for F, my first thought was the Fasolasuchus, the new ascended tame. I didn't think of fire wyvern until Veno said full name. I did think of another P for Veno, but it probably would have taken too long. He could have done Phoenix for P.

Well what better would it have been if it wasnt flying? Then it would be even worse for the other creature especially if lightning wyvern CLOSE up range and since its ground it wont be missing any of its lightning bolt attacks. Sure it can take more damage itself but it will deal even more than usual

@@Venojust ride it and walk it on the ground. If you have to make it fair for all, use primitive saddles and ride all Dino’s and just walk the flyers.
I got an idea..
The same as the vid, but you need to also spin the wheel with the dinos of the letter
Like You got "pass". So you spin the wheel of ark creatures that are the letter like 'p' you spin the wheel and get dinos like: Paracer, Pachyrinosaurus, Pachy exc.

If you have to do wyverns in these battles, why not put them in turret mode so the other guy has a chance to do damage? In Turret mode they bite and use their special attacks but they are rooted to the ground where ground tames have a fighting chance and it's not so painful to deal with. Maybe something you haven't considered that could make it a bit more balanced. Great content as always!
100% that will be the rule for wyverns, forgot that mode is a thing on them. We didn't think of that at the time of recording
BTW Raas, the rock golem isn't even called a golem. it's a rock elemental, everyone just calls it a golem

Should do one where you fly around with a blind fold on and after like a minute, what ever you land closest to is what you have to tame 😅

Look, I’m not going to say that Raas wouldn’t have won anyway (just look at that team), but letting the flier fly with the new AI that avoids flying targets made the last half of the fight a little sad. Still, love the video, cannot wait for season 4, and I hope you both have an amazing week

It was too light for the onyc. Bats are nocturnal or in the case of ark like dark caves.

If you lure the bat off a cliff with follow command it *might* fly. Honestly with this game I dunno anymore, but that used to work.

You guys need to force tame and just ride them. Even if they re worked the Dino’s Ai’s, it’s still ark and there are always going to be bugs and issues.
These videos give me my ark fix when i cant play myself :)
Should try letting whoever finishes taming first be allowed to hunt and ruin/kill the other's tame
It seems in asa from what I've seen if something is flying the ground tames don't seem to even try and pathfind until it lands I've noticed it with raas when he's fighting the manticore edit in monarky

The dino's bad pathing and flyers was bit cheating. Would call this episode a trial and error run and not let it count in the whole of this new series. Wildcard get your dino pathing done😮😅
Defs a trail and error type episode for you legends to enjoy. I dont see us doing season 4 anytime soon with how broken asa is still but we just going to have fun doing these types of videos and experiment
Rock Golems are actually called Rock Eletmental. So Even if you were to say yes to "Golem" you would have realized when you got there that it was not actually called that. Us players have just gotten used to calling them Golems. Like Calling Wyverns Dragons

As far as I know, no, for the same reason as the penguins. I can't remember what map it was on, but Ice Wyverns have their own spawn area, in a castle like area in the snowy mountains.
Ice Wyverns became a thing when Ragnarok came out on ASE

Full name in game, eg Rex is just Rex in game, and the golem is called Rock Elemental
