  • The new Counterpoint video blog series will allow me to discuss Traditional Martial Virtue in a quickly changing cultural environment. What are our goals and responsibilities in training martial arts? What are the responsibilities of instructors in training new people? What are the ethics of violence? In future episodes I plan to cover topics such as social duty, masculinity, accountability, and victimhood mindset.
The blog series will be non-monetized as usual (no commercials, I do have a day job)

I haven’t formally taught in a school, or had a class for a while now. I am presently studying Tadyakamao (empty hand) FMA with Tamaraw Martial Arts at Studio Six in Saskatoon (instagram.com/studio6 ), though there have been passing discussions about possibly of taking on a couple kali students again at that location in the future.
