Service to upscale your Videos for you online: • Online video upscaling...
This method will use Nvidia RTX video super resolution technology to upscale the playback of local video files on your computer using an Nvidia 30 or 40 series RTX graphics cards.
Thanks to the new Nvidia RTX AI video super resolution upscaling, everyone with a modern generation Nvidia graphics card can LIVE upscale videos for playback. Currently, Nvidia RTX video super resolution is only supported for video streams inside Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Other software might soon be added to the supported list.
As for now, using Chrome or Edge to play back a local video with RTX Super resolution video enhancements is as simple as dragging and dropping any video into the Web browser and playing the video.
When enabled, the RTX video enhancing super resolution feature will automatically increase the resolution of the video played back to a higher resolution to match your screen resolution.
Check out Nvidia RTX video super resolution by getting the latest drivers for your Nvidia RTX graphics card and enabling RTX video enhancements super resolution in the Nvidia control panel.

Easier way to show it's working is to just use an overlay. If it's on, you'll see load on the GPU, especially if it's upscaling to 4K
I think we understand what it’s supposed to do. I think a lot of us are here to find out how to do it and we can’t just drag video into the edge browser, so how did you get that to work?
Edge browser will play .mp4 files it will not play mkv files. I just tried it.
@@cliffordphillips305 I tried it on Edge and VLC. Sometimes RTX Video super resolution works, sometimes not. Maybe due to video source??
Could have sworn this used to work, but I can no longer drop and drag files into the Edge or Chrome browser, it just puts it into downloads.
Tried the VLC method but I cant seem to get that to work either.
Use MPC-HC player. It’s way better than VLC.
Once we upscaled the video, can we export the upsacled video to a local file?
No, this is only for upscaling live playback.
@@GreenBoxMedia any method or software to extract local upscaled video? Thanks
@@GreenBoxMedia and I think if it’s not available for local, we might fight some way to download the upscaled video via Google Chrome browser
@GreenBox ...and how can we save this file?
You can not, it is playback only.
VLC RTX exists now, so this method may no longer be necessary.
I have not heard of this one yet, thanks for the heads up!
@@GreenBoxMedia It's quite recent. And not without it's bugs according to usrs, although I haven't had issues yet. But I only went looking for it because Edge wouldn't open the video I dragged in, just tried to download it again lol
I'll look into it and update this video then, thanks!
@@genev7126 are you still here? Can we use RTX Super resolution to upscale local file video to 1080p? I see it’s live upscale but I would like local upscale
@@nonstart9632 yea, if you are trying to do it on the fly then VLC has an RTX build that can take advantage of Super Resolution. If you want to recode and upscale the source video files, Topaz has several different softwares to help you do that. Do a search for “VLC RTX” to start.
anyone with a 20 series card can use it as of today's update!
Apparently Nvidia is about to release a new GPU driver that adds support to the 20 super series.
