Omg I have natural curly hair too and ever since 5th grade I’ve straightened it. I’m now almost 30 and I’m finally figuring out how to style my curls and embrace my curls haha. Love the recommendations you’ve shown!
Omg this gives me hope!! I can’t remember life not straightening. Really need to find a routine that works for me so I can give my hair the break it deserves 😭😂
I'm gonna graduate at the end of the month. And I've been trying to ddcide for the last three years whether or not i made the right decision with my degree. Now i finally have to decide: do i wanna look for a job or apply to a biology degree and go through college a second time I'm 21 and i have already worked in my field of study the last three years (i studied in a dual degree which is offered in germany and 99% of the time ends up with a 9to5) and i like the work. I didnt like the theoretical stuff in college but everything else is fine. I have just thought about the bio degree all the time and now im not sure about what i should do. There is a lot more that plays into this (finances, moving etc) which only confuses me even more Do you have any advice or were confronted with something similar? I feel like a lot of people feel insecure about this kind of decisions Btw i loved your video Will definitely subscribe
First off, congrats on the upcoming graduation that’s amazing! I actually was also in a similar boat in college. I was pre-med throughout, with every intention to graduate, studying for the MCAT, and apply to medical school. My entire bachelor degree was focused on this goal. It wasn’t until the year after I graduated that I realized it wasn’t for me and switched to marketing. I did end up getting my masters (MBA) but I think even without it, I would be in a similar place to where I am now. I can’t speak to how it is in Germany (which is SO cool btw) but in the U.S. a lot of entry level roles do not necessarily require a degree in the field they work in, but rather just require you have a college degree. In fact, probably 75% of people I know working 9-5s don’t work with what their degree is in. I’d definitely recommend taking as much time as you can to make the decision, you’re 21 and have so much life to live and don’t need to have everything figured out right this second! P.S. thanks so much for the kind words, still getting the hang of vlogging so that means a ton!
Thank u so much for your answer!! Yeaaaah I grew up in germany and i actually think the dual degree is one of the best things offered in germany degree wise. Especially because the dual degrees mostly focus on corporate jobs where theory itself usally isnt really 100% qualifying because the jobs someone can do in those fields are soooo versatile(does that make sense?) That being said I actually did my degree in marketing!!!! So I totally get why you wanted to work in this field😊 I think my biggest problem ist that I don't know if the actual work in the biological field is something I can imagine myself doing for the rest of life because I actually don't really have a clue of what "a day in the life of a biologist" looks like I'll probably try and ask some biologists about their experiences and life... like maybe through social media We'll see where life is gonna lead me 😁
@@zoeinchiohh and because of the vlogging I think you're doing a great job It was really nice to watch The only thing I noticed and you could improve if you want to is the the place where you usually record yourself talking Maybe try out a few angles while you're talking in your kitchen I feel like In the end of the video it got better and you did it naturally Just at the beginning that was something I noticed❤ (But I also don't really have experience with doing stuff like that professionally so take this with a grain of salt)
That’s so cool, I love hearing how other countries differ from the US! Praying you get clarity soon and find the best next step, I’m sure it’ll be great whichever route you decide! Also thank you so much for those tips, that’s super helpful! I already filmed a majority of my next vlog and totally didn’t switch up angles so I’ll be more mindful in the future. All part of the learning curve but love to improve! :)
