I had a sample shirt get shipped to me once from Digital HeatFX and the design of a bird on it cracked and peeled about 3 washes in. Are these transfers better now? How many washes do you think they are good for and can they handle normal washes? People don't special wash even their most expensive clothes.
did they send you a DTF sample or Laser transfer sample? We have shirts that were printed back in Feb or Mar of 2023 that have absolutely no damage to them. no cracks, no tears, no rips. They've been through the washer more times than i can remember. I would say over 10+ times easily.
yes but the white underbase is also made to help bond with the adhesive powder. not printing the white underbase will make the image look a bit dull and the print wont stay on the shirt very well.
Great video, we see slight noise in the solid colors, is that common? Or are the colors really even, as when I stop the video that seems to be the case.
the noise could be from the camera or the compression from youtube. the colors are really nice and there's no noise or grain on the print when you look at it in person. there can be noise if you are importing a low resolution image
yes there are many ways to remove background. in order to have a transparent background the file needs to be in PNG format. you can use a software like Photoshop to remove the background. i personally use photoshop or Canva.

Is there a way for not wasting so much paper between prints? I havent figured this part out, but even if i back up my paper roller some, i still feel like a ton of film is wasted
you can resize the image and strategically place them so that there's not a lot of "empty" or "blank" areas on the film. you could also watch to see where the printer starts printing on the film and adjust the film accordingly. there are buttons on the side of the printer that will move the film forward and backward.
@@HaiTech so if you're only printing let's say 3 images that are 3x3 inches, you would place them in a row and then do you downsize the canvas size before hitting print? I haven't used that job arranger program yet. I think my settings are 320 by 400mm on canvas size if I remember correctly.
are you using a roll of film or sheets of film? what size is your roller or sheet? if it is a roller and it's 13 inches wide then you could put your 3 images (3x3) in a row and print. press the forward button to move the film forward so that it's easier to cut. then use scissors to cut right below your print. then press the "backward" button and move your film back into printing position. are you using Pro RIP that came with your printer? hope that helps

However, sometimes the design doesn't stick, so i wanted to know if you think i should try with a higher temperature and more time with the press heater? thanks!
150 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius? 150 Fahrenheit is way too low. The oven at 110-120 Celsius is good. As for the time I would play around with the time. It’s usually 2-3 minutes for the oven. Also depends on the oven lol. As for the heat press it needs to be 320 Fahrenheit on medium pressure. Peel COLD. Procolored will tell you all sorts of random numbers. You’ll have to play around with the miners to get it perfect but those are what I use and they come out great.
@@HaiTech thanks for your reply, i was referring to Celsius. Now they asked me to try 130 degrees for 120 seconds. Will try it, maybe it will work better. I have bought the RF1390 2023 version with the oven 2023 version (from another supplier).

Great video. You've got me interested on DTF Printers. I have a couple of questions though. How does the print feel on the fabric and how is the print quality after a few wash in a washing machine?
the print quality is amazing. We have shirts that have gone through 10+ washes easily and they still look just as great as it did fresh out of the printer. I'll have a video on wash test soon. The print feels really good on a shirt. it's not a clump of ink like screen printing. it's a thin later of ink. no cracks, no peeling at all.

Hello I just received my procolor printer and I can't get the sizing and center right my images always print on the side and then end up getting off any suggestions
at the top right where you see the icon of 3 horizontal lines. it looks like a "menu" icon. if you click it you can switch from cm to Inches if it makes it easier. are you importing PNG files? once your in the RIP software and import an image you can see the "ruler" guide going across the top and another one going down the left side. also once an image is imported, at the bottom left you will see a rectangular screen that shows up which allows for you to change the Width/Height of the image. measure your film across and keep in mind that when you import an image into the RIP software that the design should not be wider than the film. example: your film is 11.7 inches across. when you import an image into the PRO RIP, just remember to keep the design under 11.7 in width! this video may help too: ua-cam.com/video/EEr3fYFIgnU/v-deo.html
@@HaiTech okay thank you I will give that a try cause also when I do my printheads daily cleaning when I do the test print to make sure all of the color lines are there it's always off to the side and gets cut off
did you buy the roller version or sheets? your film may not be aligned. if you are standing in front of the printer, put the film in and make sure it's pushed towards the right side. if problem persists i would do a video call with the tech support. it's probably something simple
Hi. I`m thinking about starting up with printing on cloths +++ It looks like you are happy with the L1800 printer, do you know if thats the best model they have? And the heat presser, would you have gone for somthing else if "you" had the budget for it? Possibly which one? Love your videos, easy to understand.
the best model they have is called the DTF Pro. it just prints faster because of the dual print head. image quality is probably very similar. When I use to print shirts professionally we used a heat press called Fusion IQ by STAHLS. The L1800 is probably the best option for single print head DTF printer.
honestly it seems as though the apparel embellishment industry only use Windows. I've had an Epson F2000 DTG and it was windows only. Roland vinyl cutters, windows only. All of Procolored's DTF printers are windows based only at the moment as well. it would be amazing if it was mac OS compatible. all of Procolored's DTF printers are wired as well. thanks
the amazon link was for Punehod, which is the same as Procolored. Punehod is the actual name of the company and Procolored is the DBA. if you buy from amazon there's not a lot of selection, and many times their newer units are on their direct website only.
Hey Brother... Great video, thanks for sharing this link from your previous video. There are many companies overseas that manufacture/sell DTF machines... What made you choose Procolor over the other companies?
Procolored goes to trade shows. Some other brands I’ve seen use lower quality epson print heads and charge twice as much for their DTF printer alone. But you’re right there are plenty of generic brands, and some bigger brand name dtf printers out there. Procolored is not a perfect brand either. I would weigh your options according to price, quality, customer service and maintenance. Not in any particular order. Thank you again! I saw your video on the Procolored printer from the link in your reply above. I sent you a message after watching it and asked about the oven use after printing. Continued Blessings to you and your family! 👍🏽🙏🏽
lol, you are absolutely right. you want to do a lot of research and maybe even talk to a representative from the brand directly before purchasing. here is procolored's return policy: www.procolored.com/policies/refund-policy hope that helps
well technically you could use any brand ink but I only use the one made by the manufacturer. 1: using other ink brands void the 3 year warranty. 2: the results i've had with the procolored DTF ink is vibrant and looks great. a set of 500ML bottles goes a long way
white is the easiest to clog. it's thicker than all the other inks. make sure to do a print head cleaning and nozzle check to see if there are any breaks in the lines. if you want the white brighter or thicker you can make adjustments in the PRO RIP software.
is the resolution of your image high enough? i have not come across this problem. if you are trying to print a low resolution image onto a shirt, the print will come out "grainy".
Make sure the print head is not clogged by doing a nozzle check. If the lines are not all there and you see gaps then do a head cleaning in the settings. During the print, in the Pro Rip software make sure that both White print settings are turned on. Also when you’re adding the adhesive powder make sure that you add enough to cover the whole image.
i would get in touch with tech support and see if a setting was accidentally turn off or could be tweaked to make your white pop. mine seem to be vibrant. i've printed on black shirts with no problem. i've also printed on red shirts with no problems with the white and no bleeding of colors.
@@HaiTech Hey Hai, is it possible to print double layers of white to make it more opaque on black color shirts? I have white text that is not bright white because the white ink is translucent rather than opaque. Thank you.

honestly it feels exactly like regular screen printing film, but i have not tried it so i can not say if it works.
Does the print lasting only 10 wash?
What ink do you use im getting ready to be in a position of first refill on my l1800
I use the original Procolored Ink. works great. that is one consumable i can't compromise.
10-4 thanks for the reply i ordered the 250ml ink from procolored
awesome. do you print as a side hustle or full time?@@Statikleoscamming
@@HaiTechstarted with Htv a year ago and got tired of being limited with design/weeding out Htv so this black friday i went dtf .......part time wanting to go full time
great to hear. yes although DTF is relatively new it looks like it's an industry game changer for now.
Which model of Procolored DTF Printer are you using?
L1800 a3. Not the upgraded version.
Thanks, the product is very expensive here in Germany almost 3000€ @@HaiTech
Hello what kind of film is that
it's a film roll for DTF printers. they make them in 11 inch and 13 inch widths. length can go up to 200+ ft
Is it compatible with a MacBook
windows only
What type of over and press did you use?
i used a basic heat press from amazon lol
The L1800 is probably the best option for single print head DTF printer.
great video
Does this printer also print stickers/decals? Also does it print quality stickers to go on cups, mugs, etc?
no, but procolored does make printer for that. i believe it's their UV printers.
Are there any DTF printers that are wireless and compatible with IOS?
honestly it seems as though the apparel embellishment industry only use Windows. I've had an Epson F2000 DTG and it was windows only. Roland vinyl cutters, windows only. All of Procolored's DTF printers are windows based only at the moment as well. it would be amazing if it was mac OS compatible. all of Procolored's DTF printers are wired as well. thanks
Your link is not for procolored?
the amazon link was for Punehod, which is the same as Procolored. Punehod is the actual name of the company and Procolored is the DBA. if you buy from amazon there's not a lot of selection, and many times their newer units are on their direct website only.
Hi where did you buy ur procolored l1800 dtf
you can buy it from procolored's website. www.procolored.com/?ref=HaiandTerrie. i have a discount code in the description as well.
Great video!
are you considering DTF printers?
What kind of file does my image need to be?
PNG is best
Hey Brother... Great video, thanks for sharing this link from your previous video.
There are many companies overseas that manufacture/sell DTF machines... What made you choose Procolor over the other companies?
Procolored goes to trade shows. Some other brands I’ve seen use lower quality epson print heads and charge twice as much for their DTF printer alone. But you’re right there are plenty of generic brands, and some bigger brand name dtf printers out there. Procolored is not a perfect brand either. I would weigh your options according to price, quality, customer service and maintenance. Not in any particular order. Watch This Before You Buy a Procolored DTF Printer

Thank you again! I saw your video on the Procolored printer from the link in your reply above.
I sent you a message after watching it and asked about the oven use after printing. You responded with an answer and a link to this video.
With all the companies and choices I want to make the best purchase. With these DTF printers It's not like I can drive over to Best Buy and return it if something goes wrong or I'm not pleased! 🤷🏽♂️😅
Great content brother...
Hi what brand dtf ink do you use?
well technically you could use any brand ink but I only use the one made by the manufacturer. 1: using other ink brands void the 3 year warranty. 2: the results i've had with the procolored DTF ink is vibrant and looks great. a set of 500ML bottles goes a long way
I like ur design
Where can I buy ?
etsy
Isn't the white too low?
white is the easiest to clog. it's thicker than all the other inks. make sure to do a print head cleaning and nozzle check to see if there are any breaks in the lines. if you want the white brighter or thicker you can make adjustments in the PRO RIP software.
My prints were great, but now my colors aren’t smooth and come out almost grainy. Have you ever had this issue?
is the resolution of your image high enough? i have not come across this problem. if you are trying to print a low resolution image onto a shirt, the print will come out "grainy".
I just ordered a Procolored A3 L1800 2 days ago....In your experience, how long to the printer take to print an image on average?
ua-cam.com/video/Fs8cLjYH-3U/v-deo.html at 9:10 i did a bunch of test prints and timed them. it really depends on the size of your prints
how do you make the white pop
Make sure the print head is not clogged by doing a nozzle check. If the lines are not all there and you see gaps then do a head cleaning in the settings. During the print, in the Pro Rip software make sure that both White print settings are turned on. Also when you’re adding the adhesive powder make sure that you add enough to cover the whole image.
Hi there where can I find the setting for the white if don’t mind answering?
@@hectorm2100 it's in the RIP software settings. do you have the PRO RIP software that Procolored gives free with their machines?
@HaiTech yes sir the only setting I’m able to find are the one on the right that says template setting ,thanks for answering
i would get in touch with tech support and see if a setting was accidentally turn off or could be tweaked to make your white pop. mine seem to be vibrant. i've printed on black shirts with no problem. i've also printed on red shirts with no problems with the white and no bleeding of colors.
Great video Hai! I have a question. Is it okay to switch off the machine over night and switch it back on the next day?
Absolutely.
@@HaiTech Hey Hai, is it possible to print double layers of white to make it more opaque on black color shirts? I have white text that is not bright white because the white ink is translucent rather than opaque. Thank you.
@@MrThayYT There are 2 Nozzles for White ink. i wouldn't print double as the ink would probably run off. i would just add a good coverage of adhesive powder
@@MrThayYT if your white is opaque then the nozzles may be clogged. do a nozzle check to see if it's missing any lines. in the PRO RIP software make sure both white nozzles are being used. if you have an older version of the software make sure you update to the latest version. then make sure you add a good coverage with the adhesive powder. medium pressure at 320 degree. PEEL COLD. do not peel warm or hot. latest PRO RIP software can be found here: www.procolored.com/en-de/pages/software-download
@@HaiTech Hello Hai, after doing everything above, I figured it out. My RIP --> Combination setting needed to be v1440x1440 DPI instead of the 720x720DPI I've been using. It prints much slower due to more ink usage but definitely worth it for colors to pop out on dark fabrics.
Nice great video i want to start bussiness can you help me to buy that where is your supplier
stay tune for more contents on how to make money using DTF.
Great video! Are the inks from procolored vegan?
i know it's water based ink. i will ask them about the vegan part.
Thank you very much!
